Wrong way around - derd24's requested image is from this season (although he's since moved to Leicester in the winter transfer window, so an even more recent source might be available)

There's no need to make frivolous accusations of bias. You requested an out-dated source image, which won't be an improvement over the current, recent and high-quality cutout. If you want to use an older cutout in your own game, you can download the 13.11 Megapack image and save it in your cutouts folder.

If you're using source images from ogol.com.br (or any of their sister sites like playmakerstats.com or zerozero.pt), often you can get larger sizes by changing this part of the image URL:

to this:

With a larger image size you won't have to upscale it to get a 250px cutout, meaning a better quality cut 😉

This doesn't have anything to do with the cutout megapack - if you want to report an issue or something that should be updated with the Football Manager Database, you need to do so on the official SI Games Forum. I've linked the thread for Italy Database Issues, where you should post if you want Davide di Stefano to be added to the game. Make sure to include as much information as possible including his date of birth (not just year if possible) 👍

I don't have the cutout megapack downloaded so I can't check it myself, but at least here on the sortitoutsi website, Pashja doesn't have a cutout image on his profile page.

@Igor De Souza Reis Already cut from the same source here. Be sure to 1) Check the person's timeline before making a request, to make sure it hasn't already been done; and 2) Make sure the sources you're requesting are high quality - you uploaded a very compressed image with noticeable JPG artefacts, and the image isn't very large either so the player's face isn't large enough for a 250px cutout without upscaling and losing even more image quality.

A bit less blurry

@Footygamer A lot of retro kit images are now broken (e.g. https://sortitoutsi.net/graphics/alternatives/game-item/4814 among many others) - not sure what's happened there as it was fine earlier.

Inspect element shows the image paths as “<img src(unknown)”

Whenever you try to jump to the first unread post in the Retro Kits thread, it always goes to this comment by Footygamer rather than more recent posts.

Can you clarify what you mean? I found this article from July 2021 which suggests that TiagoSeattle's cutout is the correct person.

You've pasted the code for Angelo's config in the middle of the config for whoever has the UID 0, and the game reads the red block and the blue block as separate config entries. 

Replace those two parts with the following:

Commenting on this for visibility for anyone who wants to combine the larger images from EFL sites:
Once you've gotten the “anchorpoint=top” with “anchorpoint=middle” images like mentioned above, you can combine them in an image editor such as Photoshop or Photopea. Make a 1360*1000px sized canvas, and then align the top image to the top of the canvas, and the middle image to the bottom.

Additionally, if the images are pixellated/blurry (some clubs don't upload full-size versions and their system will automatically upscale them), you can replace “?preset=square” with “?preset=player” for a medium-sized version that should at least be large enough for a 180px cutout.

Getting this error when trying to import retro kits. The “type” field is set to “team_home_kit” by default but doesn't work with that entered either,

That's the largest image size - the photos of the kit on their store page might be better.

@AhmedCendan A couple of small bits of unremoved background on the right-hand side of this cutout, but good work otherwise 👍

Maybe this one from around the same time could be used? Would just (maybe) need a blue photo filter adjustment on the hair but it's forward facing and has good lighting

If you want to request an image to be cut, you need to do so with the Upload Image button

Do you mean making the leagues playable? If so, they're included in this file by DaveTheEditor for FM22.

That's a bit of a hasty decision – your work is definitely appreciated (the file has nearly 200 downloads), it's just that without config files the game couldn't use them. Thankfully Hammer has updated the download link with one included 🙂 If you have difficulties with creating a config file by yourself in the future, perhaps you could send the kits you make to him by PM, and that way he could upload them to the kit downloads section with anything that needs to be addressed.

I searched to see who the cutout in the megapack is of, it's Franck Gérard who is Guingamp's commercial director, so not in the database.

@mons The cutout you made is more recent than the one in the megapack, so you should add that to replace the current cut
