Just to let you know that Luton Town FC players (as well as all champ, Lg 1 & 2) are 80% likely to be embedded in the new game, so you may want to delete any improvement or missing requests until we see what SI games have done first (they do get the best sources)

Hi all

Not sure if this is worth mentioning, but I notice some cuts are sometimes not very sharp when cut to 180px, just a quick adjustment using marquee tool and "Smart Sharpen" set to between 20-30 around the face only gives a nice finish without making the edge of the face or hair appear jagged. Just a thought.

Agree it probably may not replace the MP cut, but that was the first source which came to hand as being rejected purely due its small size, and the blurring effect isn't as visible when resized downwards.

Definite improvement when compared to the old source (attached), if not necessarily on the MP cut

Sweet! That's going to give our cutters more work! Opps.

Hrm...wouldn't replace the MP one, but might make a half decent cut. Looks a little "vaseline'd" but not too bad.

Hello all, nice to see things are going well here, sorry I've not been about...I'm sure I'll drop in more frequently after the game launches.

Anyway, I saw this last night and thought it might be a very useful tool for images that are too small to get decent cuts from...(not sure if anyone else has already used it)

Indeed. Gave up on my last game save due to the frustrations with EU work permits and was about to start up a new game but realised having this activated means you can only load English League One & Above.....

@Rob - any ideas?

It's best practice to name the pictures you are using by the UID and then create the config. Try renaming the "costa.png" to "85142277.png" and the same process for the other one. Also make sure the image IS a .png and not .jpg or even .PNG

Think we should keep them as 180 - It's a great size as it allows us to make the best of low quality images online, it does mean that we'll need to go through all the SI images to resize however - unless the skin-makers can find a way to auto-resize SI's images (Their 360 ones don't work at all well in Wannachup FM17 Skin for instance...

AFAIK you'd have to go through the Birmingham squad, noting down the player UIDs and then taking these out of the config for the megapack.

Bit of a ballache!

Also, you can download the FM 17 Resource Archiver from Steam>Library>Tools, then follow THIS video (admittedly from FM10 and excuse my ramblings) but the main process is the same. Once extracted you can navigate to the graphics folder that has Birmingham's images in and there used to be a tool that renamed the images to their UID using the config file that was included in the SI folder...but I can't remember what it was, so you'll probably have to rename manually...

Yep, only seems to be "/" causing an issue, and it only seems like packs created by FMOnline are effected....

hammer9 - I think you may need to update the instructions for Mac users....this is something that had been annoying me for ages, I simply couldn't get many of the packs working.

The packs with "15/16" in the description didn't seem to be working, I saw someone recommended changing it in the Premier League thread, so I removed the 15/16 bit of the file-name and they are all now working...specifically forward slashes "/", dashes "-" seem to be ok.

I'm now in the process of going through all the packs I had downloaded to do the same.

Hi Rowan. I had the same issue on my Mac with this skin and some others. You have to untick "Use Retina Display" under preferences. That should do the trick.

Hi Goodsoul, I tried that, and still got the Out of Memory crash.

EDIT - Just realised, I had to shut down game, restart it out of Retina mode and then move the skin into the skins folder and then select it...seems to be working for now, thanks for your help!

Thanks for the help mate, posted to SI forums.

I did all those Cache & Preferences deletions correctly, and my setup is:
iMac 27" 4GHz, intel core i7
32GB RAM
AMD Radeon 4GB
OSX El Capitan
FM 16.1.1

So shouldn't really be a problem...

Just tried your other suggestion of changing the Rendering Mode to Software prior to selecting a skin, but got the out of memory crash again

I can't think of anything that could cause this, nothing has been added that would use more memory than previous versions. Is it doing it with any other skins or the default skin? Are you using v1.2.0 or v1.2.1?

Hey I'm using 1.2.1, just tried it with Andromeda and it crashed again, so seems to be all skins. FM was working fine until the other day, Have SI done something that screwed with all the 3rd party skins then?
