Absolute beast. Still only 20 and already world class. When I bought him from Gremio at 18 for €16M he had already been a first team player for them for three seasons, in his first season with us he was the key player in our surprise run to the Champions League title, in his second season he destroyed the Bundesliga as we managed to beat an almost unstoppable FC Bayern to the title. Hardly a bargain, but without a doubt the best player I've ever bought in 10 years of playing Football Manager.

I'd say that in Sweden Smells Like Teen Spirit and Wonderwall would be the most common answers if you went around asking both the public and the music press about the defining 90's song, on the other hand a lot of people would think of eurodance as the defining 90's genre.

No-one listens to the radio anymore; what are we, in the early 2000's?

Rock is still very much alive

If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? If only the most evangelical fans still pay attention, is rock music really alive?

It's not just that it isn't played on the radio any more, I don't meet any young people who listen to it these days and while I've never been much of a clubber, it seems like the rock/indie club scene is dying.

Since you're so certain it is still alive, what great new acts have come the last few years? Which are the best albums from recent years?

As Neil Young once sang ''Hey hey, my might! Rock and roll will never diieeeeee''

To reference the very same song, it's not burning out, it is fading away.

Something I've noticed lately thanks to being forced to listen to the radio for the first time in 10 years at work and interacting more with strangers than I've done for a long time is that hardly anyone seems to listen to rock music any more, the radio is completely dominated by house music and heavily house-influenced pop, with the occasional RnB and hip-hop song, also with strong EDM influences, I don't think I've heard a guitar on the radio a single time in three months of listening.

Admittedly rock music was hardly the most popular genre when I last listened to the radio, but indie rock and pop-rock acts like Franz Ferdinand, Keane, The Killers, Arctic Monkeys and Coldplay still got a lot of airtime on the radio, there's absolutely nothing like that now, so I'm beginning to wonder if this might actually be the death of rock music?

Has the public interest in guitar-based music died entirely? Has the well of creativity that new rock bands sprung from dried up? Have the old, once established names lost their touch completely?

Spent the night browsing Spotify looking for something to listen to and I came across this somehow:

Outrageously catchy, I remember having hear it ages ago as it was on the soundtrack for an NHL game back in the day. The whole Bleed American album is actually pretty good, giving it a listen was a great throwback to the early 2000's.

Nope. The full military might of the civilised world pummelling a bunch of losers who wear socks with sandals hardly constitutes a world war.

You cannot really call current events and deaths of innocent people as "old news", that's quite insensitive tbh. You personally might not relate to it in the same way, but that doesn't mean there are others around the globe who are equally as impacted as those who've been affected by Paris. This isn't a one side is better than the other argument, it's about equality for all people, of all backgrounds and walks of life.

If you don't see why the biggest attack on French soil since the World War possesses a higher newsworthiness for westerners than people in Pakistan, Syria or Nigeria dying due to terrorism or "imperialism", which happens every day, then you're fucking dense.

The deaths in the Middle East don't get this kind of coverage because they are old news and because people can't relate to it in the same way that they can to something closer to home. Paris is a place we are all familiar with, many of us have been there, some of us have friends and acquaintances who were either living there or visiting when the attack happened. Most of us don't have that personal connection when some loser decides to blow himself up on a bus in Jerusalem or a drone strike blows up a wedding in Waziristan. It's not a question of "white privilege", it's a question of human nature, most of us simply do not give a shit if there isn't a personal connection of some kind, unless there is something new or particularly shocking about the events.

A whole bunch of computer parts, including an Intel Core i7-6700 CPU, an AMD Radeon R9 390 graphics card, 16GB DDR4 memory and some boring stuff like a PSU and CPU cooler etc. My old rig was almost 8 years old so an update was long overdue.

FM is a game that puts a high load on the processor, processors generate a lot of heat when under stress and by the nature of their design laptops are not ideally suited to dealing with that heat. The only way for your computer to keep your CPU cool is by running the CPU fan at high intensity.

SI might need to tweak and optimise the CPU usage, but there is nothing you can do on your end that wouldn't risk overheating your computer.
