The Fans' Player of the Year was pretty predictable:
And speaking of Lindström:
He had another year left on his contract, but I wanted to lock him down for as long as I could. Really hope he can end his career with us as a one-club man.

A really tight finish to the season, Höllviken put up a real challenge for 1st place with us only securing the victory in the very last match.

Apparently Richard Dunne and Sven-Göran Eriksson makes anyone look good at CB.

The best player from this year's youth intake. Potential to be a good Allsvenskan midfielder, according to my assistant. Unfortunately he has a toxic personality that I'll have to try to change through tutoring.

Signed him in spring after a trial but he couldn't join us until now due to his young age. Not a man for the first team yet, but I have hopes that he can develop into a striker of Allsvenskan quality.
I also made my first signing for next season:
I beat 40 clubs for his signature, including big names like Feyenoord and Fenerbahce.

Dalkurd was a tough draw, but I've got more important priorities than the cup at the moment so I fielded a B-side. Probably not the right decision, in hindsight.
And some good news:
Great to have him signed for two more years. We'll hopefully have secured promotion to Allsvenskan by the time his deal expires.

We got off to a very dominant start, but then we went on a run of bad results that almost had me sacked, the media speculated a lot about it and the players called a team meeting after the 1-1 draw against Öster to express their concerns. We've turned it around now though and I have no doubts about catching up with the clubs that are ahead of us.

Sad the cup run came to an end, but also proud to have put up a fight against the best club in Sweden.

On to the quarter-finals where we'll face Malmö FF.

That's alright I suppose. A draw against Superettan side Sirius in the next match would see us advance from the group.

Kalmar are a top-half Allsvenskan side. Not a bad way to begin the season and your managing career.
Have Örebro from Allsvenskan up next in the second group stage match.

Attacking, with high pressing and a possesion-oriented short passing philosophy. Should serve us well given how we have arguably the strongest squad in the division.

Another once promising youngster who's career didn't pan out. Gives me a bit of cheap depth on the left.
Would like to add a proper, quality AML, but unfortunately I doubt our wage budget will allow it.

A nice rotation option to provide cover at the back, with experience from the Juventus youth team. Always nice to get players for free too!

Bringing in a physio, one or two scouts and another coach are urgent priorities.

7 strikers, no natural left wingers and only three centre backs. I definitely need to bring in some players on loan. (Or play a narrow 4-3-3 and pray that my CB's never get injured)
Key players:
The biggest talent in the squad. A new signing who came to the club having missed almost 2 years worth of football due to injuries, including the entire 2014 season, he'd be making good money playing abroad by now had he been fit. If he can stay healthy he should be able to tear Division 1 defences apart with his pace.
A very experienced nomadic striker, having played professionally in 7 different countries and represented both the Swedish and the Syrian national teams. "Mouradona" should do a good job for us as a target man.
A striker with good mental and physical attributes for this level. Should rotate with Mourad playing the target man role.
The captain. With his excellent mental attributes, Lindström will be bossing our midfield for years to come.
A very versatile and hard-working veteran, can play up front and anywhere on the flanks but I'll be using him as a complete wingback on the right. An old fan favourite from the most recent season in Allsvenskan who has returned "home" after four years at BK Häcken.
Another recent signing from BK Häcken and by far our most experienced player, with almost 300 appearances in the Swedish, Danish and Norwegian top tiers to his name. Probably the best defender in the league.
Outrageously slow, but otherwise a good defender for this level, he'll be forming a pairing with Björck.

Division 1 Södra has never been tougher. Aside from ÖIS, Landskrona, Trelleborg and Öster also have recent history in the top tier.
The league champion gains automatic promotion, the runner-up will face a team from Superettan in a play-off. It's going to be a tight race for the top places.

The oldest club in Sweden naturally has an impressive trophy cabinet, though the game doesn't accurately mirror the complex history of Swedish football and the strange situation regarding what counts and what doesn't count as a Swedish championship title. Örgryte have been crowned Swedish champions 12 times but have only won Allsvenskan twice, neither of which count as a Swedish championship title, and all but one were won before 1930, the championship win in 1985, which was decided by play-offs is the only Swedish championship and along with the Swedish Cup title in 2000 the only major silverware that the club has won on this side of the Second World War.
While the club has a great history, the last decade has been a dark period, since suffering relegation in 2006 the club has only returned to Allsvenskan for one ill-fated season and this year marks the fourth season in five years that the club has spent in the third tier, the result of a bankruptcy after the 2010 season. The days of my youth where the club was a regular in the top half and even challenged for the title in 2002 are long gone. Leading the club back to those heights is my ambition.

They don't have the stadiums required and I doubt they have the infrastructure.
There's requirements on stadium capacity and facilities, and there's requirements on infrastructure and things like available hotel beds, never heard anything about any "villages". Event areas can be built in a fortnight.
One of the big arguments for the US bid was that it wouldn't require any new infrastructure to be built, there's already something like 90 different stadiums in the US that are up to standards, and major US cities won't have any issues with hotel beds, airport access and whatnot.
