Doubt it. Seems like Charnley and Carr want to put their own stamp on things and they'll back McClaren in a way they wouldn't Pardew.

And the Chief Scout has a lot to answer for when he is the 2nd biggest influence at the club.

Imagine caring that Newcastle didn't invite some outlets to their press conference.

Bloody Pards though. It was all his fault, that Cabaye went in the huff for a year because Newcastle wouldn't sell him, and his fault that Ben Arfa has fallen out with every coach he's ever had. I'm not sure how not rating Mbiwa constitutes a falling out either. Pardew the mentalist wanting to replace him with Alderweireld.

Charnley and Carr seem like right cunts again in getting rid of Stone and Carver, and allowing McClaren to bring in his own, when they they forced them on Pardew. Imagine McClaren will be allowed more influence in transfers as well.

But was he sacked face to face, or in a suitably manly fashion?

Anyway a doorman got shot in Newcastle at the weekend, the Chronicle interview the #AshleyOut rabble in response. Yeah its not all about getting their name in the papers.

I'd be worried about Milner's legs packing in. He's been very fit and put in a lot of miles.

Re Ayew, Newcastle apparently offered him a deal months ago. Apparently thought he is asking for more than he's worth.

This is probably the best attacking trio in footballing history.

Suarez, Neymar and Rakitic are all miles better than Sanchez.

Hope Newcastle get Enrique after he gets sacked.

Might as well wait and see.

I mean they allegedly want a forward, a CB and Ayew. So there is 3 'starters' already.

Seen Newcastle offered Matip for £10m. Fairly sure he's not very good.

Haha. Imagine you're busy doing you're coaching badges and you see John Carver strolling towards you, informs you of some information that you basically already knew, then leaves. What a spectacular waste of time, money and would potentially cause massive embarrassment.

The far bigger 'scandal' here is that the're getting John Carver to do it. It's not his job - even if he was the appointed as permanent manager, it's the job of the 'football board', not the head coach.

I'm resigned to McClaren now though. Hope we get lots of shots of Carver glaring at McClaren though.

Also regarding West Ham. Wait until after they've actually made their appointment before moaning. Targeting Klopp etc. means nothing unless they acually appoint them.

Carr loves the technical football. His Kettering Town side played some smashing stuff in the Unibond League, before he was sacked for relegating them. Pardew didn't even play 4-4-2 very often, tended to play 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 quite often.

Either way the Chronicle sweeped away all of the flops in recent years. And apparently it is him pushing for McClaren.

Good to know appointing the guy with no experience is seen as the ambitious choice. The guy who's actually won trophies is the least ambitious.

Anyway my choice out of the apparent contenders is;

Vieira > Laudrup > Garde > McClaren.

Regarding Charnley - I don't think it's so much the interview, I think it's more he's willing to tell them things, ie he's their source for a lot of stories.

Big 'Limited Budget' Sam - he's had fortunes to spend at West Ham, Newcastle and Bolton are one of the most indebted clubs in England.

The Chronicle is outstanding. They're actually blaming Pardew for the second half of the season. And praising Carver for keeping us up. And suggesting that Carr has a 100% success rate.

"A year ago an agent who worked with Newcastle told me that United’s scouting team wanted technical, attacking players who could deliver excitement on-the-pitch" - Yet Pardew insisted on shite players. Carr apparently wanted Hazard, and Pards insisted on Karl Henry.

They blame Ashley/Pardew for everything. Whilst praising Carr, Carver and Charnley regardless of terrible they do their job.

I'm glad we're releasing Jonas. Finally showing some AMBITION. I hope we sign someone shite who clearly doesn't want to be here instead.

Universal negativity regarding Ameobi being offered a new deal. Rightly so, developing players is so small time. I'd much rather sign players regardless of how terrible they are. At least it shows AMBITION.

Gut feeling is Real will sack Benitez after about 10 games.

And arguably there could be risk with Valencia potentially challenging next year, and Sevilla are a good side. Almost definitely not though.

Just read an article about what Norwich must do to ensure survival. Keep hold of their best players and also buy new better players in every position. These Journos really know their stuff.

Thought Karanka got it totally wrong. Looked like they had no solution to a massed defence. Bamford looked totally isoldated, Adomah, Tomlin and Vossen in no mans land, no width and Clayton and Leadbitter far too deep.

Didn't a lot of people say that about us when Allardyce was NUFC manager in 07/08?

Allardyce's mates in the press did, aye. But tbh, I can't recall too many on the stands having a go at his tactics of substitutions, in the same manner.

It's absolutely incomparable. Football was easier in the mid-90's. A team could be title contenders for £20m, and teams had a handful of world class players. Now it would cost £400m? and need a squad of world class players. The team challenged for the title for a season and won fuck all.

Shepherd left us behind the likes of Reading, Bolton, Portsmouth, Blackburn and Boro. He was also fucking terrible at the football side as well as being an absolute abhorrent individual who only saw Newcastle as way of extending his personal wealth, and thought that every fan was a stupid prick to be squeezed for every last drop.

But hey remember that season we were quite good? Aye? Geordie Nation, passion, The Entertainers.

Hall and Shephard >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Ashley.

You're either deluded, ignorant or stupid if you believe that.

Hall and Shepherd are immeasurably worse.

'Ashley is greedy' - Hall and Sheppard took millions out the club. Millions in dividends, millions in salaries. Ashley hasn't taken a penny.

'Ashley is cashing in' - Still fuming from that time Ashley sold Ginola, Ferdinand and Asprilla.

'Ashley is using the club to advertise Sports Direct' - Both are directors of The Sporting Club which owns the company providing catering services at the ground for the seasons up to and including 1998-99.
The same company also provides security services to the club. Main shareholder in The Sporting Club is Cameron Hall Developments, where Hall and Shepherd are directors. Those companies probably accounted for most of the £1.45m spent by the club with related parties as disclosed in the last Newcastle accounts.
Rubbing salt into the wound for supporters, known as the Toon Army, the warehouse which holds the replica shirts so beloved of the now-departed boardroom duo is rented from a company associated with Shepherd.
Newcastle took out a 17-year lease on it three years ago, paying rent of £150,000, rising in line with inflation. That contract is worth more than £2.5m.

Sheppard and Hall actually sold the more unprofitable wings off their business to Newcastle. Because the fans can pick up the tab.

'Ashley has no respect for the fans' - Remember that time Ashley was slagging off the fans and calling them mugs, while discussing how much he likes to shag prostitutes? No? because it was Shepherd and Hall.

'But Ashley does't understand the club' - Shepherd and Hall understood that they could exploit further money from the sales of 10 year bonds and selling shares in the club. In the case of the bonds, they would attempt to scare fans into buying the right to guarantee a ticket for ten years. Shepherd and Hall exploited a further £4.5m from the fans by doing this, then moved them anyway.

'Ashley runs the club like North Korea' - Hall and Shepherd would actually take journos on holiday, to Monte Carlo.

I liked Roeder, his post Souness run was one of the better moments of supporting Newcastle.

Keegan's comments are extremely vague, he talks about the people running Newcastle, who I doubt he's ever met. Keegan fucking worked with Hall and Sheppard ffs.

On a side note, remember when Keegan insulted the South, and the media started trying to make him look mental, and claimed he was trying to sign Henry and Lampard? Must have forgiven him since Newcastle stopped putting on a good spread.
