Quite impressive if Carver manages to get sacked from a caretaker reign like. And I Janmaat is very, very overrated. Got absolutely murdered by Schlupp today then got himself really stupidly sent off.

Carver is so bad it's unreal though.

Can't fucking wait until we 'cash in' on Sissoko, Tiote, Janmaat and Cisse. Krul could do with actually saving something as well.

And no I don't think Williamson is a great player, I'm more against the obsessing over one or two apparent weak links and turning them into scapegoats. And having a childlike belief that the whole team is shite because of said player.

Clubs receive very little from ticket sales compared to TV rights.

Stoke for example got ten times more from TV rights than matchday income. Man Utd and Arsenal are the only clubs where matchday income is in the same ball park as Commerical income and TV rights.

Therefore aren't the primary customers. - They're part of the product being sold to the customers. No one wants to watch a game in an empty stadium or with no atmosphere.

Fixed for accuracy. As a Labour man, I'm really disappointed with how the SNP looks set to take a clean sweep in Scotland. We're getting punished, ultimately, for being on the same team as the Tories during the referendum, and with the unionist vote split three ways it opens the door to (hopefully temporary) nationalism hegemony in Scotland.

Must be very disenfranchising getting twice as many votes as the oppressors.

The lies always seem more of a Llambias/Vetere/Jimenez/Wise era trait - and they all come across as total wideboys.

Fan Forum's are certainly 'on message' but they do communicate with fans. - The message is normally ignored though. ie Newcastle have said it's unlikely they will buy anyone in the previous two January transfer windows and have confirmed SportsDirect don't pay for the advertising at SJP.

idk - but Newcastle do make statements, have fan forums etc. I'd imagine they communicate a lot more than most clubs do. I mean Carver, Charnley and Moncur have all said in the past couple of weeks the club will spend in the Summer.
