Obviously it would take years for it to happen anyway, but I mean more one day would you like to see it? So glad we've avoided NZ in the quarters, time to beat Argentina.

It's a shame about the injuries to the players yesterday and especially the O'Connell one as his experience will be missed dearly as his tournament is over (or so I believe I heard on SSN) while they're hoping the Sexton one isn't too serious and he'll be available for the Argies clash next Sunday.

O'Connell is almost certainly out. Early reports saying torn hamstring off the bone, so that's surgery and like 4-6 months recovery time. Might even be the end of his career even. Sexton should be back apparently.

Terrible performance to be honest. Glenn Whelan is an absolute fraud of a footballer and shouldn't even be in the Ireland squad. How he starts ahead of David Meyler or Darren Gibson is fucking beyond me. Honestly not confident going into a playoff. We're not able to take our chances when we get them and we very rarely actually create that much.

Excluding Gibraltar we scored three against Georgia, two against Germany, one against Scotland and two against Poland. Two of those goals were injury time equalizers, more Germany and Poland switching off than us making it happen and one was just a piece of brilliance from Aiden McGeady against Georgia. He hasn't played at all really this season for Everton and isn't fit enough for 90 minutes.

O'Shea banned for the first leg, as is Walters and Shane Long could well be out injured.

If we draw someone like Turkey or Sweden we're fucked.

Playing career mode is so satisfying this year. Much better than previous editions.

Love the fact you have to build up your attacks and pressure.

Fucking hell, Fifa is even more broken than PES. Passing is just absolutely terrible, every ball goes astray, Im struggling for more than 60% pass accuracy. Long shots seem to just fly in if hit with enough power (sadly more against me than for me). They've completely taken pace out the game, Messi is getting caught by anyone, while Drogba is also getting battered by Bassong and van Djik in my last game. Add to the fact that prices are completely fucked at the moment and it's providing a very frustrating experience.

Passing in the game certainly leaves a lot to be desired at times. Really unless you've built up your attack and moved the opposition around you're more than likely going to give the ball away. As for pace it's a tough one as they've attempted to stop the Ibarbo and Doumbia shite, but in doing so they've completely fucked it. When you do create a really good chance you've some 60 paced defender or midfielder catching your 85+ striker who is a good 3-4 strides in front of them. I'm sure they'll patch the game at some stage and it'll be a better gaming experience, but it won't happen that soon.

Play career instead of Ultimate Team, it's much better.
