A lot of these haven't been cut properly for dark backgrounds:

All the images on the Premier League website have been cut quite poorly so need to be re-done or edited to be suitable for the megapack; for the ones I've cut I'm saving them back on to a white background and re-cutting them. HERE's a good tutorial on how to remove the white fuzz around the image when cut

Also if you're planning on re-doing any I am currently working through West Ham and have already cut all of Manchester United and Everton (no need to re-release my Everton images in your own pack by the way!) for this season from better sources and also have better sources for Arsenal and Watford

If your going to cut close to the chin but the collar disappears move the collar up before cutting, with either the marquee tool or the laso tool.

FYI Sources from the Manchester United website can be made a lot bigger by removing anything beyond the .ashx part of the link, for example here removing "?mw=500" from http://www.manutd.com/~/media/FD6278701AB44CD7BA1B234FB9CB0E98.ashx?mw=500 gets you a much larger image

Am actually a little more worried about this than I probably should be. Long term it should be in a midfield three with Carrick (or more likely Carrick's replacement) behind him and Schneiderlin or Herrera next to him. Short term it will be in the two of a 4-2-3-1 until Mourinho fucks Rooney off which is a huge waste of his ability.

I just hope Mourinho has the balls to do to Rooney what he deserves, and that he does it quickly enough it doesn't de-rail our season.

Cannot see any future beyond this season for Carrick at the club myself. Of course he deserved his extension this year and has been a wonderful player but last season it looked that playing at this level is getting beyond him. I'm worried if he is the man chosen to play in the inevitable midfield 2 alongside Pogba (hopefully as you said it'll change to the three when Rooney is found out by Mourinho...), he is too static despite his awareness is incredibly vulnerable during a counter attack as part of a midfield two. Even behind Pogba and Hererra or Schneiderlin in a three I'd rather see Blind but Mourinho doesn't seem to fancy him if reports are to be believed...

I don't see Jose being as lenient with Rooney as Van Gaal was. Think we'll initially see a 4-5-1 with Rooney behind the striker and depending on Rooney's performances (barring a miraculous upturn I'm not expecting much...) can see Rooney being binned to bring in the 4-3-3 which'll be the long term plan anyway.

A midfield 3 of Pogba and any two of Schneiderlin/Herrera/Blind would be just lovely
