Was there last night, Lovren is stealing a living.

No idea how we fucking didn't win, seemed in half gear for half of it yet still should have scored 3/4.

Because it was nowhere near as bad as Mane's?

In what sense? Just because he doesn't connect? what sort of fucking rule is that?

How could you seriously think that? Kung Foo kick to the face.

He's always going for the ball, since when is a high foot a red card?

It's actually banter that we're going to have Lovren, Matip, Klavan and Gomez if you count him as our centre backs for 50+ game season.

Although could be worse, could be Arsenal.

So after the hype of Van Dijk, Lemar, Draxler we're not gonna bring anyone else in and probably lose Coutinho. GG

Krychowiak is class. Would take him here in a heart beat. Can see him going somewhere bigger next season or in two years for big money.

Renato Sanches agree slightly, but surely worth a punt.

Yep and it's not for the first time either!!

Happened in both Diaz fights and happened against Mayweather when he didn't need to worry about being choked out or kicked in the head!

There's a blueprint to beat McGregor and that's staying in a fight until he's knackered and then taking advantage.

Yeah, was bad. Mayweather smart again, let him be aggressive without doing much damage then started upping the pace once Conor gassed.

Judges score cards were absolute bullshit though. Two judges gave Mayweather 9 out of 10 rounds. McGregor won the first 3 easily. Would have been mad if it went to points and lost it because of that, as I backed him on points halfway through.

Twitter is going off today. Van Dijk still a possibility apparently

Sakho looks to be gone. Not sure if I'm 100% happy on it, wish Klopp would put the grudge behind them as he's a half decent defender. Would have Van Dijk and Matip as main pair, then Lovren and Sakho as back up following CL / or cup games, with Klavan as 5th choice. Moreno / Robertson (and Milner) left back, Clyne (when he's back), TAA and Gomez at right back actually gives us a shit load of cover. Completely forgot we still got Jon Flanagan who was class in 13/14, would love him to come back to that form. Could have used Keita in midfield this year, but think our squad isn't as thin as people make out. At this moment I don't see where Coutinho plays.

Kind of pointless though considering we need players this summer, idk what the fee paid but if they already rejected 70+ million can't see it being cheap. Plus does it take it out of this years transfer money?

Hahaha we're fucking rubbish.

I've seen you go 4-0 down vs us in 20 minutes, but this was probably the worst I've seen you play and close to the worst performance I've ever seen. Neville was spot on commentary, players embarrassed the shirt, Ozil, Ramsey etc walking around.

But on the other hand, we're fab to watch going forward.

Yeah, made a couple hundred from it sometime last year I think but I was already signed up to most websites. See if I can find the site I used, but basically you cover the outcome so would be X team to win on one bookmaker and Y or draw on another

I'll take that group. Be disappointing not to progress and would also look to win that group.

5 British teams fucked up the draw I think. Pretty sure when we were drawn, group D (with Juve and Barca) should have been available? It was greyed out to keep two English team in A-D, and two English teams in E-H for TV purposes. But as there was 5 teams there was always going to be 3 on one side, so Spurs after us, it wasn't greyed out anymore...

A rather comfortable win in the end which was surprising.

Fear for Liverpool though in the group stages.

A poor defence that could concede plenty and if teams manage Mane you won't have much else going for you.

Just got back in.. left Birmingham at 4pm, didn't get there till half 7, why the fuck are road works absolutely every where.
Also club massively fucked up, loads of fans had old members cards (including myself) which wouldn't work, no emails or anything about it, so had to que for fucking ages to sort out. Missed 35 mins of the game and 4 goals ffs, will be lots of angry emails tomorrow I reckon.

Anyhow good to see us so fluid up front and playing with confidence, despite missing Coutinho. Salah looks fucking awesome. Like Mane, but with a better first touch (Mane's had some horrible touches lately, and slips a lot, did spot it last season and was wondering whether longer studs might help..). Defence is still a bit meh, but didn't do too bad and I think they knew they had a cushion and lacked some concentration.

Seen the pots, and oh my Pot Two could be considered worse than Pot 1. Would obviously take anyone 5-8 from pot 1, and would rather miss Barca than PSG but could really get fucked with the draw tomorrow. Imagine Real, PSG and Sporting, or Bayern and Barca combo. Going to be a few big clashes.

Either way I'm quietly looking forward to it. Atmosphere was good considering it was only a play off qualifier and so early on in the season, and none of these teams will want to come to Anfield. Plus Klopps record vs Top 6 last year he might be able to handle the bigger teams a bit better. It's good to be back.

I reckon it'll be 1-1 tonight at Anfield.

You lot to get the job done, but only just.

Off to the game later, really expecting a comfortable win, so we'll lose 1-0 and go through on away goals.

Starting to go off Klopp a bit...

Sell Coutinho, he wants to go and there are enough attacking players in the Liverpool squad to cope with his loss. £114 million is in line with the over the odds prices that players are going for. Use the money to buy a goalkeeper and a left back.

Secondly, get over yourself and reinstate Sahko into the defence. Klavan is a liability and Gomez is not ready for the Premiership, at least not at a top side. Lovren and Matip and irregular at best too. Moreno? Nothing needs saying here that isn't already known about his defensive capabilities.

Well.

For a start Barca can suck one, especially with the clauses they're offering. It's 80 million spread over 5 years, rest is stupid clauses. If they want him then they can pay up front for him.

Also he would be a big loss, as seen today we look very one dimensional at times. Re goalkeeper I think we're fine, there's no one out there available that would improve us. More pressing to sort out CB situation either way. LB Robertson looked better there today, Moreno has looked better in pre-season but I would still make him into a midfielder a la Bale at Spurs.

Jesus, Arsenal have got to have the most pointless selection of players ever. Fucks the point in Ozil, Walcott, Ox, Giroud or Welbeck, if they're fucking passing it around in the middle of the park with 5 minutes left instead of getting it forward.

Absolutely fuming they cost me my bet.
