First of all thx for this great MOD.

I have an issue with away kits no longer being applied for my own team or visiting team. Makes it difficult when both teams are wearing dark kits.

Is there a fix for this?

i understand this will mot work on multiplayer but is there a way to avoid having to uninstall all the files to play online ?

Simply cutting the files out of your directory and into a temporary folder will do. I think I explain that around 8 minutes into my 2nd video

Hey @BassyBoyYT  Some feedback on Stamford Bridge for ya mate using the new Football Manager 26 - 3D Stadium Megapack - v1.2.0, 

 

Please see attached the 4 pictures…

 

  1. First Pic: The blue brick wall that says (Chelsea Football Club) is now darkened out during a match with just a little spot light.
  2. Second Pic: The same blue light spot can now be seen on the pitch.
  3. Third Pic: The scarecrow props are sticking through the electronic adboards. Maybe just removing them on this side would be better mate.
  4. Fourth Pic: The blue steel beams on the roof should have holes were the circles are. As in real life they are not solid beams.

Hope the feedback helps buddy, and big cheers again for everything.

 

Also just a sidenote, the Liverpool scarecrow prop men would look better removed from the substitute bench chairs. Because the original FM26 animated players already look like they are sitting on them and look great. But they are overlapping each other. Small detail but just wanted to feedback mate.

Perhaps it could be interesting to let the user a way to enable or disable custom stadium instead of having to delete everything if things doesn't work as intended for each stadium.

 A simple tap  of a F button as you did with the custom cams… That said it might not be possible to ask the engine to unload stadium and reload default one… 

If you prefer to avoid working  too much on this “switch”, maybe a change in a config variable in a config  file might do the trick before running FM.

Good work, BassyBoy and thank you.
 I still have a few technical remarks regarding some details that slightly break immersion.

1) During the walk-out sequence, when players exit the tunnel, their alignment no longer matches the Bernabéu tunnel axis/ plan, causing them to intersect the stadium overlay/graphics.

2) I had appreciated the improvements made to crowd behavior compared to previous versions, particularly the more independent (randomized) animations. With customized stadiums, however, the crowd appears to be both re-modeled (high visual repetition among spectators) and driven by highly repetitive, ackward,  synchronized animation loops, often shared by multiple nearly identical models.

Was there any possibility to reuse or port the crowd models and animation system introduced in FM26? If I had a clearer understanding of how this is implemented or linked (assets, animation sets, or pipelines), I’d be glad to contribute or help investigate a solution.

Additionally, have you identified any potential approach to modifying player appearance, ideally through or in combination with the manager creation tool?

 

Hey Rwendy, thank you for the feedback. Ideally I would have used the crowd structure from the base game, but that was a dead end quite soon. The problem with having a large crowd population in a game like football manager (in the current form) is that it almost needs to be a VAT (Vertex Animation Texture) system. which doesn't leave a ton of options. I also need to modify things within the original guidelines set up by FM26 itself, and because of that it leaves very little margin for error. I hope to be able to give more room towards the visual aspect of the crowds soon, but for now it is a lot of trying things out, crashing the game and all manner of testing. 

 

As for the walkout, I am looking for ways I can edit that subroutine within the match engine, but haven't found any luck so far.

I wouldn't of given him the time of day with a response, the work you have done is fantastic and everyone's dream since playing the CM/FM series, it is all that has been missing and the hours you have put in are greatly appreciated by all. I'm currently doing a Newcastle United save and am over the moon when I see my players walkout at St James' Park. 

 

I do give a response, because I don't like to be painted in that light, and I will always be transparent in my actions because that is what I like to be.

That isn't what I asked.

I saw you put credits, but did you actually contact the people whose work you are using and ask for permission to do it?

 

The two things are not the same.

The issue with performance as well is because the mod is just injecting the whole PES stadium into FM, with over 300,000 vertices, way more than any stadium normally in FM, and so performance issues aren't going to go away unless they're entirely remade for FM specifically.

 

Figuring out how to inject the files into the game is impressive, no doubt about that, but the mod doesn't actually say whether the majority of the content (all the stadiums) are actually being used with permission, or used without asking the people who put effort into making them, which would breach the site's Intellectual Property Terms & Conditions (since any content uploaded to SortItOutSI is deemed the property of SortItOutSI, and you're required to have the agreement/licensing needed for all content uploaded to the site).

Firstly, this is not how I wanted to spend my last night of 2025, defending over 450 hours of porting and programming work like this, but here we are. 

 

The bulk of the stadiums, unless specified in the credits, come from the VirtuaRED Stadiumpack V9. For use of them I explicitly contacted the VirtuaRED team by both Email and Twitter/X messages. Since it is a huge pack created by many immensely talented modders for PES I felt it was necessary to get a written confirmation on my porting process. To my enquiry through mail they never replied and I thusly held off porting until I had gotten written confirmation or rejection. 

A few days later however, I received written confirmation that permission to port the pack was granted under the conditions of which they appear in the credits. I even explicitly asked if that was a way they felt was correct. If you do wish to do so, have a read through the screenshots from mid November when these conversations took place. I will also add any other correspondence with other stadium creators of stadia that I have used, as to prove to you that I am in fact not in breach of any terms of service, and have done my due diligence to the best of my ability. 

 

Contacted them again six days after the initial outreach.
Written confirmation that this crediting method was deemed acceptable.

Du approached me through Twitter/X mentions and allowed me to use a model he updated for Sporting CP. I later asked if the other files in his drive was allowed, which it was. 

I have had correspondences like these for every stadium I included that did not come from the VirtuaRED V9 stadium pack, and in some cases the creator of the stadium, textures or other ported assets wished to remain anonymous, which I have honored and respected. 

 

Secondly, the claim about performance is blatant misinformation, and frankly really easy to disprove. If you remove the “CrowdInject” plugin that I built from the ground up, with numerous purchased assets through the Unity Store and Itch.io to support the creators, you'll notice that there is performance and that the vertices are in fact not the problem, not even on twelve year old hardware. The problem is the fact that I use GPU Instancing which is a native feature to Unity to render the crowds. The only correlation that I use from PES Stadia in this case is the existing AUDIAREA mesh that Blender's PES Stadium Extractor plugin pulls. I have modified that plugin to pull data from those meshes to simulate bleacher placement through JSON exports which is also responsible for handling crowds in FM26. That inefficiency, which is due to my own inexperience in programming, is where the performance issues stem from. 

 

Lastly, I find it pretty disrespectful to assume I have not done my due diligence, and instead of blowing this up on a forum, it would have been able to have been resolved through direct messaging. I hope this post will see you in good faith and await a response.

That's because it's just diffuse maps from PES stadium mods other people made - there's no mapping to properly use the crowds from FM.

 

It'd require extra work to make the crowds not be flat and have detail.

 

That is down to the fact the FM crowds (on all my attempts) either would turn up blank, invisible, crash the game or bsod because using the in game scene hooks (since Harmony does not work on the procedural grounds) does not seem to allow me to reposition them. I also wanted to use in game procedural generation as to be able to use vertex animations. Crowd system is made from scratch in this case and a not wholly insignificant effort has been put in. Furthermore, the translation from PES → FM isn't just a click a button and it works.  

 

Apologies if I take this the wrong way, but to me your intonation feels rather condescending and like no work has been put into this. If that isn't the case then apologies for being so direct.

Given the majority of the stadiums are from PES mods, and are only diffuse maps (with no mapping to fit the stadiums into the FM engine), did you ask permission to use these from the people who actually made them?

@BassyBoyYT can we somehow fix lightning ourselves for individual stadiums?It is nearly impossible to see anything in my home stadium (Frankfurt). Also still only black crowd seen. But everything else looking much better in v1.2 and great work!

I like the lightning improvements on stadiums from the description update! If there were only a way to improve the crowd and make them wear club colors, or at least more natural outfits would bring realism of this project to another level!

@BassyBoyYT but can't banners and flags be associated with teams rather than stadiums? for example, if the Italian national team plays at Maradona you will see the Napoli banners instead of the Italian flags, or the Frecciarossa Italian Cup final is played at the Olimpico in Rome, it would be nice to see the colors of the two teams competing instead of seeing the AS Roma banners or those of SS Lazio when you go to create it

 

I know dude, that's one of my next steps to integrate.

Today I release patch 1.2 which should fix a lot of bugs a lot of people have had. I will share the patch notes here in advance:

 

Performance:

  • Fixed the issue with the pitch lines being all over the place. The pitch sizes in the game that you select now accurately reflect in game and the pitch gets scaled to the selections you make. (was part of update 1.1.4) 
  • Non custom stadiums have referees again and now load quickly.
  • Crowds now all start seated.
  • Crowd animations now switch.
  • Reduced polygons in some props which will lead to better performance.
  • Seats will now have shaders that will allow the club colours to be maintained more consistently.
  • This is now in a beta phase and the necessary files for all clubs will be added in due course.
  • Sadly no camera fix yet. That is my next big fix that I hope to get into BETA soon.

 

Lighting:

Testing experimental lighting sets for:

  • Anfield (Liverpool)
  • Stamford Bridge (Chelsea)
  • Stade Louis II (Monaco)
  • Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia (Como)
  • Old Trafford (Manchester United)
  • El Sadar (Osasuna)
  • Allianz Arena (Bayern Munchen
  • There is now a properly functional day/night detection system which allows the lighting to be used well every time.
  • Keep in mind it is a bit darker for the moment since I am working on a lighting system for every stadium individually

 

2D:

  • 2D now does not render any crowds, making it ideal for really low end hardware. Instead you get a 2d version of the stadium top down.
    • You will still see stadium roof, and am looking at ways to improve that.
  • Stadium loading is dramatically quicker.

 

Stadium Improvement:

  • Germany is now mapped properly.
  • Fixed the camera crew at Osasuna
  • Fixed Elche Badge bug
  • Added various texture fixes

 

New/Overhauled stadiums:

Estadio da Luz (Benfica) - No custom lighting

Estadio do Dragao (FC Porto) - No custom lighting

Estádio José Alvalade (Sporting CP) - No custom lighting

Gremio Arena (Gremio) - No custom lighting

Allianz Parque (Palmeiras) - No custom lighting

Arena MRV (Clube Atlético Mineiro) - Has custom lighting

Fritz-Walter-Stadion (1. FC Kaiserslautern) - Has custom lighting

Estádio Beira-Rio (SC Internacional) - Has custom lighting

I've managed to find the password and downloaded 1.1.5. 

 

Disappointed as all seats are still white and the crowd look very poor.

 

That is highly unusual as the 1.1.5 is a Patreon only build.

The stadiums looks fantastic in game. But the graphic in general is better in the original game and the matches is more laggy with the Bepinex. Anyone experience the same as me? As of now i will play without the stadium mod but if it can become lagg free i will use it asap!

I have an anti tamper warning… im on the xbox store on PC

 

 

Hey, please do this: 

1. Uninstall the pack completely when FM is shut down. 
2. Load into the game and play a match
3. Save the game and close FM
4. Reinstall the pack

Great work, however this seems to interfere with the in-game editor. For the Epic games version anyway!

 

The editor disappears when the stadium files are in the \Epic Games\FootballManager26 folder. When I remove the stadium files and the game launches without BepInEx, the editor shows back up as normal. I've tried launching as administrator and it doesn't help.

 

Not sure if you're aware of this or a way to make it work.. Thank you anyway! Hope it gets sorted.

 

Okay that is actually really useful feedback since the editor seems to work normally on Steam. Will see if I can do anything about this. I don't use Epic but this obviously shouldn't happen.

Here is a few simple fixes I think if you have time for Celtic & Rangers mate…

 

Starting with Rangers:

 

  1. Yellow tar mac behind the Adboard is not even.
  2. The stairs and steel surrounding above the fans are like a turquoise blue shade and not the correct colors.
  3. Behind the goal stands to the side of the steps, the blue squares are overlapping and missing the A,B,C,D,E,F,G letters etc.
  4. Behind each goal, the area between the stand and the pitch should be blue like the touchline areas. You added grass. It's blue all around the pitch.
  5. You cannot see the blue gate outside on the main corners of the stadium. I think the texture for these are missing mate.
  6. You are missing the touchline technical area box lines beside the dugouts where the managers stand.

And now to Celtic, just 3 things noticed:

 

  1. The name Celtic Football Club is missing on the roof of the big stand.
  2. The seats are white. Oh and in Ibrox the seats appear to be missing as the fans are floating.
  3. The electronic Adboards seem to be hid behind some kind of green side panel on the big stand at pitch side.

Really, really great work 🙂

But I noticed, that the players are sitting in the air at some arenas.

For example, the RB Leipzig stadium or the Allianz Arena from Bayern Munich.

 

 

 

Oh, I see, the stands are on the wrong side of the stadium 🙂

 

 

The players walk in is also on this side, where no stands are.

Thanks!! It is an actual issue that the Bundesliga uses a different rotation. I believe if you go to the UCL it will be normal.

Are you able to elaborate more on the hardware limits? I'm interested to know more about this?

 

I am not well versed in hardware, but this is my best efforts: 
 

Imagine it like this:

x86 (windows, Linux etc) speak English when they get an English instruction

But Apple Silicon speaks Mandarin and thus cannot do the instruction because it simply does not understand it. 

 

Again, not well versed in Hardware, but if anyone has a more in depth explanation, please feel free to correct me ;D
