Good luck mate, will get you added to the leaderboard!

Its very unlikely you will claim the title, with first 3 points ahead and you both playing 3rd and 4th respectively! But even second would be a fantastic finish and somerthing to build on

Decent winter break against weaker teams, spending some dollar now, lets hope it works out to give you a strong league finish and put you in a good position for next year!

Another solid update, going into 'part three' its going to be very interesting where it leads you! With BATE already sitting behind you I feel there is a real chance of you making that top spot!

We continued our battle through the months and October was the busiest month to date so far as we faced six games including some big clashes this month. We went into October trailing Cibalia by three points. However with us both facing six games this month there was a good chance they could slip up, but at the same time, a good chance we could slip up too.


The month began very slowly as we were at home welcoming Osijek. A tough game saw us behind after ten minutes. However we managed to snatch a draw thanks to a second half goal from Tokic to secure us a point, probably should have taken all three though.

As we traveled away to struggling Lucko we expected to get back onto winning ways, but it didn't happen. Despite a pleasing first half with Tokic netting twice in thirty six minutes and looking good. Lucko pulled one back before the break and one back after the break as they came from two down to snatch a point at two all.

Things got worst for us as we traveled to Mosor. A very poor performance from us saw us slip to a one nil defeat and stretch to three without a win. We were really starting to struggle.

A third away on the bounce and finally our first win in four. We traveled to Gorica where we narrowly snatched a two one victory. We were behind at the break, due to a twenty fifth minute goal. But second half we were better. Kresinger almost immediately brought us level from the restart before Tokic netted with twenty one minutes left on the clock to secure a two one win.

This got us firing and as we returned home to welcome Sibenik we smashed four past them! A very good performance saw us ahead in thirty two seconds through Kresinger and inside ten minutes we are two nil up as Marijus doubled our lead. Kalinic made it three before we found a fourth through Marcijus after just twenty four minutes and we were flying. We conceded a second half goal but were home and dry.

Then came the big game, first vs second. We welcomed Cibalia and managed to grab all three points from them this time around. Despite a poor first half and conceding in injury time we were behind. However second half we improved our game a little and with half an hour to go Gutierrez pulled us back level. We weren't done there either, with twelve mintues to go Marijus popped up again to net and secure all three points.


The league is very tight! Cibalia did managed to move five points clear until we beat them in the final game of the month. Cibalia stay top with twenty eight points from twelve games whilst we sit second, two points behind with twenty six points. Osijek are keeping the pressure up as they sit third on twenty five points. Just three points separate the top three sides. Sibenik in fourth are starting to slip away.

Its been a very good opening month for us Benniewijs! And as you said if we keep winning we can make it tough for everyone else in the league!

Another month down and another pleasing one for us over September. We had played very well in the opening month as we managed to grab two wins from two including a win over Sibenik. However as we went into September we knew it was going to be another test. But we were more than ready for it, four league games, two at home and two away for us to try and compete with.


The month started at home as we welcomed Vingradar and grabbed our second clean sheet and third win from our opening three games. A strong performance saw us lead early on once again as Celina found the net after ten minutes and ten minutes later we doubled our lead, Celina finding the net once again. Two minutes from the end we settled the game as Jezina found the net.

Traveling to the leagues top side Cibalia we were dealt our first blow of the season as they continued their fine start. We started poorly for the first time this season and this saw us two down within twenty five minutes. We pulled one back before the break with Parnjic netting. However we conceded another after the restart which saw us slump to a three one defeat, our first of the season.

The defeated didn't affect us too badly as we played back to back away games where we traveled to Pomorac. We lead through Celina after twenty six minutes however a quick comeback from Pomorac saw it all level at the break. Luckily we got back to winning ways as we grabbed a goal just six minutes from time, Tokic managed to find the back of the net.

Our final game of September saw us return home to welcome Beliscoe in what proved to be my biggest win in charge here at Inter Zapresic. A comfortable four nil victory began on the twenty fifth minute as Marcijus found the back of the net. Second half we were a little more attacking and when Kranjec doubled our lead we knew it was our day. A second came for Marcijus before Gutierrez netted a little later to secure the four nil win.


Cibalia are just running away with it and there is little we can do at the minute. They've won all of their opening six games this season, including beating us to see them sit top on eighteen points. We sit second, three points behind on fifteen with five wins from our opening six. Osijek sit third on twelve points whilst Sibenik and Vingradar sitting fourth and fifth with ten points.

It won't be easy thats for sure Benniewijs but its one I look forward to playing as always! We are predicted to finish second again this year, behind recently relegated Sibenik, but we shall see what we can muster up.

Finally the start of the league season was upon us. We may not of been quite as active in the league season as I'd have hoped for but that wasn't an issue. We went into the league season with a decent enough squad. With just two games in August we wanted to hit the ground running.


The season began with us welcoming Gorica. A good place to start the season and a very nice victory to open the new season for us. After just four minutes we led with Vukojevic finding the back of the net. Eleven minutes we were sailing as we were two up through Celina. We conceded one before the break to bring the game close. However no goals in the second half saw us claim the win.

Our second, and final game of the opening month saw us travel to last years relegated side Sibenik. A tough place to go last year with Hajduk, but this year would be harder. However we coped well with them and grabbed a second win with Marcijus netting the only goal of the game after fourteen minutes.


A decent enough start to the league season as we open August with just two games and managed to win them both including a good one nil win against Sibenik. They were relegated last year so to beat them was good and they are already struggling. Three of us have opened the league campaign with two wins from two whilst Mosor remain unbeaten with one win and a draw.

Another good month, keeping it tight at the top and into the JPT regional final!

It was only my second pre season at a club but it could also end up being my last if things went right. We had a very small squad and an even smaller transfer budget to work with so it was going to be tough this summer. So I will now run down the transfers in and out this summer as well as the financial status of the club along with the friendlies which expanded from my earlier screenshot.


I transferred most of the transfer budget into wages but still spent a whole five thousand pounds. We brought in Marko Lenosk on loan to hopefully add some strike power as well as adding Boban Jovic to try and settle our midfield a little. Three players also left this summer all on free transfers as they weren't good enough.


The team report is still weak and missing a few 'big' players for some key areas but for now we have a solid enough squad to at least start the season. Our keeper looks strong, we could do with at least one new center back and a left back. Our midfield still needs a centre attacking mid but we are coping. Upfront we could also do with an added player but we can improve.


Financially we haven't taken too bigger hit financially. We slumped under the half a million mark in the balance as we now sit on four hundred and seventy thousand pounds and as I said I transferred the budget I had to spend earlier in the month but still have six thousand to spend on transfers along with one thousand pounds left as wages if we can find a decent player to add to the squad.


We faced a huge eleven games over the summer, I had already arranged seven before my assistant went ahead to arrange more. We had a fairly decent run. Despite the game against Hajduk being cancelled Dinamo proved their worth as they smashed us seven two. However we picked up six wins and five defeats from the summer and on the back of three wins we go into the league with confidence.

Should be an easy route into round five!

I may have only been in the job for a couple of weeks but I've already met with the board again. This time we reviewed the expectations the board have for the new season. We also reviewed the finances this summer as well as arranging plenty of friendlies to get the team ready for the new year.


With the board disappointed that the previous manager didn't earn promotion last year, they have the same demands this year. They want promotion and with only one team going up this season we need to make the most of it and try and get form on early. The board have offered me sixty thousand to spend in transfers as well as nine thousand for wages, currently gives us just over one thousand to spend on wages already.


Here is the financial situation here at Inter Zapresic, its not quite as healthy as life at Hajduk. My previous job saw us have over ten and a half million in the bank balance. Here at Inter Zapresic we have just over half a million in the balance. We have sixty thousand to spend on transfers as well as just under a grand to improve the club with free wages, however we will sell players to buy new ones.


Here are the pre season fixtures for the new season. I have created a variety of friendlies, with some in the higher league to challenge us and some lower teams to allow us to run riot a little. We face both big sides Dinamo and Hajduk as well as littler sides such as Amater and Duga Resa. It should definitely allow me to improve my squad and get them use to the formation and the way I want them to play.

It was so close Shedender, three teams on 67 points on the last day! Hit and miss! So nervy too! We put in a solid performance though. Yerp just the second division now!

With everything in the top division won in just a season and a half I could already leave Hajduk. It had been a fun time here but with the challenge getting on I couldn't wait too long. Knocking Dinamo off their perch was the best moment ever. Now we must head down the divisions to try and find a job in the second tier to try and win the one remaining trophy available here in Croatia. Soon a job became available and with the end of the season upon us, it was time we made our presence known.


NHL 2 side Inter Zapresic sacked their manager after the final league game of the season. They were predicted to romp the league but they finished down in fourth place and promotion wasn't there. So they ditched their manager and I thought it was time I made my presence known in the availability.


Straight away I jumped in there and declared my interest in the job. I am already at a top job in Croatia but at times we do need to step backwards and this is one of those times. The NHL 2 is the only trophy evading me so far and we had to try and get it somehow. But I wasn't sure how the mighty board of Hajduk would react to this.


Both clubs showed interest in me and showed my worth. Hajduk hoped I would stay and after three trophies in just over a season and a half who would be surprised. I also led them to the top of Croatian league with us knocking Dinamo off their high perch. However Inter Zapresic also wanted me and were flattered that I was interested in the vacancy, it was time for me to decide my future.


Finally the NHL 2 side approached me and it was time I made my mind up. Their season is over now so the budgets will probably change a little before the new year. However we are expected to challenge for the top spot again next year. Currently offering sixty one thousand for transfers and a small part of the wage budget left. I changed the deal to one thousand pound a week instead of nine hundred pounds. Its a four year deal, but I hope I'm not here for that long!


And there it was! I left Hajduk and joined up with Inter Zapresic. Not the easiest name to pronounce but certainly one I would be happy to take on a challenge with. We only need the top spot now and just need to try and produce it next season. A few killer signings and we could surely battle through a very tough league.

December was a shocker pal, however your now at the winter break so can make the money you got pay off with some big transfers!

Yer it was Shedender, changed that now! It was a decent enough month come the end of it, now we must perform in May!

Here it was, the final month and it was a big one for us. With the cup rounded up last year and the super cup earlier this year, we headed into the final league month neck and neck with Dinamo with just our head to head scores separating the two sides. We looked to knock them off the perch for the first time in twenty one years. However five big games stood between us and the title.


The final month saw us travel to Zadar and make it four wins on the bounce as we claimed a two nil win. Guilherme was the man on form once again! He struck after just two minutes before securing a brace when he netted his and our second in the second half three minutes after the restart.

And as we traveled to Slaven Belupo we slipped to another defeat. A poor performance saw us waste our chances and concede a second half strike to sink to defeat.

Back at home we welcomed Zagreb and our form still wasn't brilliant. We took the lead after five minutes as Susnjara found space and the back of the net. However twenty minutes later Zagreb pulled level. However in the last minute of the first half Pavlicic put us back ahead. However Zagreb didn't lie down and came out the second half fighting as they went on to claim a point.

Our second home game on the bounce and final one of the season saw us welcome RNK Split and this would see them climb joint on points as we lost. Despite leading after just four minutes through Golubovic netting confidently. However as RNK Split pulled one back before the break we knew it was going to be a tough game. They went on to net another to send the title race to the final day.

So here it was, the title decider. We went into it sitting second. RNK Split were top on sixty seven points, we were second with sixty seven points, Dinamo were third with sixty seven points...We had to win and then hope on other results... We had a good performance smashing in five against Dugopolje. We took the lead after seven minutes through Adilson and five minutes later as Hannich also found the net. Come the break we were three up with Males confidently converting a chance. After the break we started slowly, allowing Dugopolje to pull one back. But this didn't bother us, we added a fourth through Males before he grabbed his hatrick six minutes from time to round off a good season...but was that enough?


We had done it! A famous double as we claimed the league title on the final day but it was a very close league finish. More importantly, Dinamo were finally knocked off there perch after a strong twenty one years at the top. But how close was the league come the end?


We had won it on the final day by just two points. RNK Split led the table going into the last day on sixty seven points, we sat second on sixty seven points and Dinamo, they sat third...on sixty seven points. A huge final day went our way as RNK Split drew, we won and Dinamo were defeated which saw us win. Last year Dinamo won the league with seventy three points, this year we win it with just seventy! CHAMPIONS

Thanks Benniewijs! Its been a good season, the three points are important but not the goal difference. The league is sorted on head to head results after league points so we should still see it out if we can carry on winning.

I'm not confident of winning the league either Shedender and its fair to say it will be down to the last game of the season! We need to remain at our best for the rest of the season.

Here was the penultimate month of the season and going into it three points clear of Dinamo it certainly was all to play for. We couldnt slip up and just prayed Dinamo would. But with us facing a tough run in before the final month we had to be at our best. Five big games from our remaining ten we faced in April.


The first game of the month saw us travel to RNK Split and we were dealt a very harsh lesson of football as we came away without a single point. An awful performance from us saw us three down at the break, Basha pulled one back but RNK Split went on to net another two to sink five past us!


But our second game of the season saw Dinamo over take us as we were poor and drew one at home against Dugopolje. They were more threatening from the off and were leading within nine minutes. Second half we managed to pull back to grab a point as Golubovic.

We then began to find our feet, we traveled to Istra 1961 where we grabbed a solid three nil win and clean sheet. Guilherme gave us the lead in injury time in the first half before Golubovic netted his second in as many appearances after the break. We rounded up the win eight minutes from time through Hannich.

At home for the last time this month we welcomed Sibenik and claimed back to back wins and clean sheets to keep the title race alive. Basha put us infront eleven minutes before the break with a calmly placed finish. A penalty twenty minutes from time saw us claim the win as Pavlicic netted comfortably.

We ended the penultimate month on the road against Rijeka where we claimed an important three one win. Knezovic gave us the lead after quarter of an hour but conceding before the break saw the game all level once again. Second half we came out fighting though and a goal from Pavlicic restored our advantage before a goal in the last minute of time from Zagorec secured the win.


Despite losing the top spot after two games this month we managed to hold on to three big wins to send us back to the top and clear of Dinamo. Even if it is only one 'head to head results' with them. We go into the final month in first with sixty three points along with Dinamo who also have sixty three points. RNK Split sit third and thats the lowest we can finish now as they trail us by five points.

Making a decent go at this, back to back promotions with Wrexham and three league promotions on the bounce for you is looking likely at this early stage!

Wow, well done on getting to the Champions League group stages in just your second season, thought it would be more of a challenge than that! However it is likely you will go out now, tough group!

Another month was upon us and another month was battled through. March was a fairly quiet league month for us but it would be on of the final quiet ones. Four league games this month including our fifth game against Dinamo this season, two games at home and two away for us to compete with.


March began on the road as we traveled to relegation threatened Sibenik, however despite their league position they still gave us a run for our money. They took the lead after just twenty four minutes as they looked for a surprise victory. However we leveled before the break through Simic. After the break we managed to break through a stubborn defence and finally take the lead through Guilherme to wrap up the win.

We then traveled to Zagreb where an eight goal game went massively in our favor. Knezovic put us infront after three minutes before Pavlicic made it two inside ten minutes. Zagreb pulled one back five minutes later but before the half hour mark we lead three one thanks to Guilherme. Another went in for Zagreb but come the break we were five two ahead as Pavliviv netted his second and Basha had one. We started strong after the break and ten minutes into the second half had our sixth, Guilherme grabbing his second to wrap up the game.

Our first home game of the month saw us welcome Slaven Belupo and this saw us keep our only clean sheet of March. A strong performance saw us grab a two nil victory. Despite a quiet first half we played bettwe for the second forty five where we finally took the lead through Guilherme. And it was Blazevich who wrapped up the win, nodding home a corner in the final minute of normal time.

The final game of March saw us welcome Dinamo, the biggest fixture in Croatian football and it was the fifth time we had met this season and would be the last. But Dinamo finally grabbed a win against us, the first time they've come away with all the points all season. They were ahead after five minutes and ten minutes later they found themselves two up and cruising. Come the break they even added a third as we were nowhere to be seen. We tried to spark a comeback as Susnjara found the net but when Dinamo added a fourth it looked all over. We didn't give up, Males netted eight minutes from time to try and spur us on and a Kalinic penalty in injury time almost brought us into it but we slipped to a four three defeat.


We did open up a six point gap briefly against Dinamo but as we fell to defeat for the first time against them this season they closed it back up to just three points behind with just ten games to go. We are starting to edge away from the rest of the pack now as I sit seven points clear of third place RNK Split and eleven points clear of fourth place Istra 1961 despite them starting the season strongly.
