Zero Dark Thirty is brilliant. As is Lincoln. And Django.

Oh and Wreck-it Ralph was pretty awesome fun too.

Good week.

Really liked ZDT and Lincoln, Django was my favourite though.

No Evans even on the bench, bit weird.

Anderson is though.

Doesn't it depend who wins it? If as expected Chelsea do win it, who will most likely be in the CL next season then surely the runner up will get the EL spot?

Nah it goes to the next best PL team if that's the case.

Should the FA Cup winners, runners-up (if applicable) and the Football League Cup winners already have qualified for Europe, their place goes to the next best placed clubs in the Premier League.

Don't think runners-up of the Carling Cup get a European spot.

Well, first of all, I don't get why you're 'angry' in the first place in a discussion about United and Spurs. You called Ninja (and essentially any United fan that agrees with him, that Fryers isn't actually that good) arrogant, bitter and uninformed - which in itself is uninformed. Not sure who upset you there.

The original point was trying to get you to be more specific, considering your argument can be used in practically every single transfer that takes place.

Believe it or not a lot of United fans follow the team very closely, there are blogs and things that specifically look at the reserve/youth team. So it's possible that Ninja isn't basing his opinion on Fryers on two games or however many he played, but also on things he's read from people who have followed Fryers 'career' closely. You don't have a clue how much or little he knows about him before you came in throwing insults about.

So yeah, my original comment was partly out of annoyance that you branded Ninja/people agree with him arrogant, bitter and uninformed. Pretty unnecessary and incorrect.

Fuck off - that's clearly not the point I was trying to make. Idiot.

So you have no actual argument besides an insult? Good one.

You said exactly that. Professional scouts know more than anyone so it's ridiculous to question them.

I think he's still annoyed that the four points we nabbed off his bunch cost them the title last year.

We were eight points clear after we'd played Newcastle twice, there were a few games we fucked up to lose the title but they weren't it.

I imagine Fergie will get a fair bit of stick for the "wee club" bit after criticising Benitez for something similar.

He's right about the rest.

"If an attacker interferes with an opponent by making a movement which distracts an opponent, then they are offside."

His movement into an (offside) attacking position distracts Evans. I don't know why you thought it had to be a physical distraction.

Deluded

Ferguson's was a campaign against the officials to try and intimidate the officials to give his side some decisions. John Carver shouldn't have done it but it was because an awful tackle had just broken a Newcastle player's leg. And decisions did seem to go Manchester United's way in the second half, probably just a coincidence.

Decisions like the handball?

Which, for the record, I thought was outside the box.

And Pardew was arguing with the fourth official during the Newcastle second goal.

In fairness to Fergie (re team selection), looking at the bench he didn't really have many options. Giggs kind of had to start considering we had no Young, Nani, Rooney, Welbeck, Kagawa etc. Plus he actually played really well in the second half, as he did when he came on against Swansea.

Scholes too - Fletcher's still not fully fit I don't think, and if Cleverley is going to play against West Brom on Saturday (on paper a harder game given their form) then that'd make it three games in six days if he started against Newcastle.

Saying that, he should have come on at HT - changed the game when he did.

Absolutely done with Mancini. It's one thing losing, it's another thing losing because you've made the same mistakes time after time and ignored them time after time.

He needs to make serious changes soon or be sacked.

Did I see that he brought on Lescott for Garcia late on? What's the thinking behind that?
