Things aren't explained very well in your bug reports… There's probably a bug but i'm struggling to find the time to test and it's alot easier and quicker if you provide as much information as possible rather than saying “it doesn't matter” 🙂

Similarly if you think things aren't explained very well, you could clarify what it is you're not sure about and we could update the site to make it clearer so it helps both you and anyone else who visits the site.

Eddie Howe is already Newcastle Manager in FM22 there shouldn't be a need for an edit to him?

Well if you delete the changes xml file those changes won't occur?

The FMF file in this post you're replying to is just the FM21 updated with FM22 data, Gerrard is still at Rangers in FM22 so he's still at Rangers in this file.

The “sortitoutsi.net Data Update - Changes” file you're referring to is from the data update and includes those changes people have submitted since FM22 was released.

Perhaps try and be more specific and explain why you deleted that file, what were you trying to achieve?

Can you post a screenshot? Other people have reported this but I cannot reproduce myself

I've found a bug and rebuilding now, hopefully it works. It's going to take a little while to build so may be this evening UK time

The issue seems to be with the base file but 400+ people downloaded that and nobody reported these issues.

@AidanH1996 like I said above the FM21 version of the data update was released accidentally and hasn't been tested at all.

Are you capable of helping to debug what's causing it? I'm pretty short on time at the moment so for now i've tempted to just remove the FM21 version all together.

I've updated this for FM22 and it seems to work fine

I'd still be surprised if Valverde took it, I don't see why any manager would want such a short term role. The only time I remember a short term appointment going well was Hiddink at Chelsea, I think he had a win record of 70% or something and then buggered off!

Okay i've changed it now so that “working on” is removed whenever the status changes. This means it won't just be for complete statuses, but whenever it's changed to anything other than “in progress”. So if it changes to pending, rejected, completed, anything other than in progress, then “working on” will be removed.

There are 658 marked as “completed” which still have someone set as “working on”, @Ronaldo Fenômeno in particular has 486. Should I remove the “working on” on bulk for all these “completed” submissions?

For a long time its been possible to put incorrect URLs in the “Image URL” field e.g. a link to a normal Html page and the form wouldn't throw an error the iamge simply wouldn't display.

This has now been fixed and people will get an error message.

I'm going to go through and delete these old submissions, although most of them were simply rejected so not a huge deal.

I've always thought the English League Cup would be alot better off if the teams who competed in Europe didn't compete.

Anyone got any interest in creating this for FM22?

My basic idea is that winning the league cup would give a place in the Conference League, so in theory you could go League Cup > Conference > Uefa > Champions League without ever qualifying through the league.

And any teams competing in Europe would not take part in the League Cup, meaning you're likely to get a winner from the bottom 12 of the Prem or one of the top teams from the Championship.

This would in effect act like a version of the EFL Trophy (which is mainly aimed at League One and League Two), a trophy that teams with otherwise little hope of winning can win.

Whilst also reducing the number of games for teams playing in Europe.
