I found the issue, it was because the Republic of Ireland league update file was renamed Ireland in the release on 10th July, so when I copied and pasted the new files, it didn't flag as a file that needed to be overwritten given the name change from Republic of Ireland to Ireland. Once I deleted the old one named ‘Republic of Ireland’ all was well. Thanks

Just noticed today when loading a new game an error about discipline rule groups. Last time I loaded a new game was circa 9th July. Not sure if related to one of the league files created since then. Could be nothing to do with these files but thought to say here in case it is. 

Just a quick one, spotted that Ryan Kent has gone to Fenerbache, but game is showing that Rangers were paid £6.5m. It was a free transfer. Trying to figure out if the update did this or another file I am using. He left Rangers at the end of his contract and they received no fee.

In game this shows as a £6.5m pound transfer to Fenerbache, but he joined them on a free after his contract expired. Not sure why there is a transfer fee associated with this deal. 

This loan is until November 2023, but with the no loan settings it is cancelled. The Irish season runs until November. Can this loan be reactivated? Each time a new game starts he is set as being back at Celtic.

Managed to load and all great. Just a quick one on Giffnock. Their name is Giffnock Soccer Centre rather than Giffnock Sports Club. Also saw last night that Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale received permission to formally drop ‘Lothian Thistle’ from their name and are now registered as Hutchison Vale F.C.

The file goes inside the editor data folder which should be inside Sports Interactive following this file path:

Users\[Your Mac Username]\Library\Application Support\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2023

Are the regional U20 Development Leagues included? I know that one is a long shot!

Thanks for this. Does it include updated data for the new and departing teams for 23/24?

Giffnock Soccer Centre has taken on the license held by Harmony Row last season in WoS Division 4. 

One of the Rossvale clubs (Div 2 WoS not the one in Div 4 WoS) has changed name to Caledonian Locomotives FC. Open Goal Broomhill are back to just being Broomhill.

Knightswood FC has joined WoS Division 4 now that it is restructured (albeit I know in a fantasy system it might not reflect new structure).

Rangers B are no longer going to play in the Lowland League.

Linton Spurs has joined the EoS league in Division 3 and Syngenta from EoS folded. 

Dalbeattie Star are rejoining SoS league having been relegated from the Lowland League and Montrose Roselea has switched from the North Region League to the Midlands League. Caledonian Braves Reserves will no longer compete in the SoS league and appear to have folded too. 

Just in case it helps if trying to reflect new season data as much as possible within the context of a fantasy structure. 

Think only Knightswood, Giffnock and Linton Spurs would need to be added (albeit Giffnock could likely overwrite Harmony Row).

Otherwise it should just be promotions and relegations to reflect 23/24 structure depending upon how the WoS was setup.

With the news that FM23 saves can be played on FM24, do you have any plans to release a league file that reflects the 23/24 leagues? I know it is a massive amount of work. Just wanted to check before I start a save to see me through to FM25.

As well as the name change above (Rossvale WoS Division 2 now Caledonian Locomotives FC), Giffnock Soccer Centre are now in instead of Harmony Row and in the East, Syngenta have folded with Linton Spurs joining the EoS league setup. 

Dalbeattie Star has moved back to the SoS league and Caledonian Braves reserves resigned/folded from that league. 

Montrose Roselea has moved from the North Region league to the Midland League.

Rangers B are not entering the Lowland League but I think Celtic B and Hearts B look invested for the long term. 

The rest is just promotions and relegations other than the WoS restructuring.

Totally understand if you don't have the time as it is a massive job. If you do, and need help with researching promotions/relegations and double checking who is in which league, I would happily help.

Another name change in case you release an update with promotion/relegation at season end and before FM24. Rossvale from Division 1 are now going to be known as Caledonian Locomotives FC from season 23/24 onwards. The other Rossvale in Division 4 are not changing as far as I can tell as they are a breakaway from the original Division 1 side. 

Can find evidence on the Inverness Caley Thistle statement, as ICT had objected to the originally proposed name change which has been shelved and replaced with Caledonian Locomotives FC.

Appointed as Hearts Manager initially until the end of the season (31st May 2023) after Robbie Neilson was sacked.

There is some sort of issue here in that he has RB selected as well as GK, which is not the case. It resulted in him being picked to play RB by Aberdeen in the first game of a new save when away to Celtic. He has never played outfield and is a complete emergency backup GK IRL as well as a GK coach now. Not sure if there is a way to fix this by removing RB as one of his positions? @Drafter 

Appointed as a scout at Celtic. The article can be misleading, he will work under Mark Lawwell who is correctly in the database as the Chief Scout. Standard Scout contract should apply. 

@Drafter  Is there a way to sort this in the update? As described above, whenever you start a new game, Roy Hodgson retires on 30th June 2022. I know it could be that SI coded this, but the update appears to work (he starts at Palace in game), then after a few days he always retires on every save across multiple users.

Is there any way to overwrite the date at which he is set to retire? At the moment, he leaves Crystal Palace on 30th June 2022 to retire from management in game across all saves and regardless of user.
