You are getting Lyon because you are using the Clubs xml file. Inside the ‘ads’ folder there are two folders, one called Clubs and one No Clubs. If you use the fm.xml file from no clubs it will work. You need to swap between the two game to game e.g. domestic games use clubs, european use no clubs. Black boards is probably because your static boards folder is in the wrong place. It should be in graphics/pictures. If you only copied the video ads over from FM21 then you need to copy the static ads there too.

Thanks @priority76 , I just saw Baba's reply and know he will have FC12 2D kits for many that would maybe give a basis. The three clubs I would like are Pollok, St. Cadoc's and St. Anthony's. I think of those three, Pollok and St. Cadoc's will be covered within what Baba creates in 2D form. I will try to source kits for The Ants and get back to you

I'll double check a few things in terms of cups and get back to you. It gets a bit complex because not all teams from a region enter all regional cup competitions. There is also a national cup called the Scottish Junior Cup for L6-L10 teams but many have elected not to compete in recent years as they are seeking entry to the full Scottish Cup contested from L1 down. L5 seems to sit on their own a fair bit, and this causes much debate amongst L6 and below clubs. L5 play their own League Cup and enter the Full Scottish Cup. At youth level there are collaborations between L5 clubs' youth teams and some other leagues e.g. East of Scotland and Lowland League youth teams compete together in a cup competition, but their senior teams don't. It is really messy!

The best sources are probably the league add ons that exist. The two that seem to be up to date are those by jreid and mozza, either one should give you information but I will look when I next load FM and double check against league sources.

In the case of the 3D kits, I hadn't seen gianni's kits until today for the Lowland League, they are great and can't wait for the full pack. 

My two boys are 12 and 10 and have the FM bug now to the point they have abandoned fifa which is great. We follow the West of Scotland league and the immersion via kits and league packs is amazing. By attendance, I would hazard the WoS Premier gets as many as the LFL and HFL. Would be amazing if the kit packs can extend to the WoS Premier. 

For a shameless plug, @nik33 media pack includes loads and loads of Scottish sources I put in last year for the FM22 iteration and they are still in the FM23 version. The media module in general needs fine tuned by SI but if you are playing lower league Scottish leagues, then you will see real lower league media and journalists with Niks pack. Currently working on a logo pack to go with it but have started gathering SPFL media source logos (e.g. Daily Record etc.) first, will get to the lower league sources too. In time, I hope to create a media/media source logo face pack for Scotland and maybe England too that goes with Nik's file. Hoping to help Nik where I can with ongoing updates to Scottish sources, so anyone really keen on lower league who loads the file and spots errors or missing media/journalists at lower league level please feel free to give me a shout and I will add them if okay with Nik.

Is there any way I can alter anything to show the media logos on news feed screens as well as the images that appear already (or instead of one of the images)?

I guess it might vary depending upon the type of news report. I know in the social feed it does show media logos where logos are in use but was wondering if there is a way to apply it in the news feed too? I guess maybe an issue might be how to include it without making things look too cluttered (and also allowing for the fact most people probably don't have or use too many media logos).

Just thought to ask because as well as adding a bit more realism, it helps with monitoring the sources used at a glance if working on media files in the editor.

Thanks Pz. I can't see the Viaplay code in the above though, but it might be me not checking properly. When I checked the file layout I realised the short name probably doesn't need changed from what mons has, so my suggestion for Viaplay is just:

I understand not doing licensed podiums. However, in Scotland, the default by SI is for an outdated sponsor in one of the cups. The SPFL has confirmed that the Scottish League Cup has been rebranded as the Viaplay Cup midseason. It was the Premier Sports Cup, but Viaplay bought them over. This means the SI default is outdated and not realistic. I totally understand if it is still not possible. 

If it was possible, the competition ID is 1301431 and the main background colour is now white. The logo/sponsor is now that shown below.

In Scotland, the League Cup was called the Premier Sports Cup at the time the game was released. However, Viaplay bought Premier Sports in November and the cup has now been officially rebranded as the Viaplay Cup. All confirmed by the SFA and via various media outlets e.g. https://www.thenational.scot/sport/23092033.league-cup-officially-rebranded-viaplay-cup-premier-sports-takeover/ . This is an unusual one as the competition is ongoing in real life, but the Semi-Final, Final and all references, PR and branding are now aligned with the Viaplay Cup rather than Premier Sports Cup.

This sounds great, especially for those who use Mozza's file. I know that someone is down to make 2D kits for all the lower leagues in Scotland down to WoS Division 4. The full list is on the FC12 2D Kit Work In Progress page. I know that there are Highland and Lowland league 2D kits already on the FC12 page. 

3D though, that is a different level and I doubt anyone out there is attempting it for the lower leagues. I guess if the FC12 creator has a 2D done for all lower leagues it could act as a basis for 3D. 

I would definitely be really interested in using a 3D pack that went down the levels in Scotland.

My image editing skills are shockingly bad, but the pic shows a much closer actual colour than that used in the current file, albeit the grey is probably a bit lighter still.

Thanks for the work on these. The Celtic third kit colour is a good bit out against real life. In the pack it is kind of grey/green, but when seen in real life it is a lighter shade of only grey. The Celtic PR material originally on their site didn't help, but it is a lot more like this colour IRL.

Thank you, these are great as always. However, within a day of release three more kits have been launched. All three are shown at the top of the 3D kit file post made by priority. Kits for Celtic, Hibs and Kilmarnock.

Hi, brilliant work on these, thank you very much. Would anyone be able to make the 22/23 SPFL ball that will be used in the Scottish Premiership, Championship, League 1 and League 2? It has only just been released and photos are hard to source, but this video clip shows it pretty well.

I am nowhere near your level with the editor, but I am trying to replicate the new format for 22/23 in Scotland.  When I looked at existing mods for the Scottish Pyramid, I concluded it would be easier to make it from scratch with the 2022/23 structure, but I have no idea how to setup the regional knock on that comes with promotion and relegation across the pyramid so gave up. Sorry that doesn't help much. 

I hope you find a way. On top of the various changes to structure, there are at least five teams not in the game that would need added too in WoS division four, plus the name changes (Edinburgh City now FC Edinburgh and Broomhill FC (Lowland League), now Open Goal Broomhill FC. Guess those are minor in the grand scheme of things. Harthill moving to EoS from WoS and Threave moving from SoS to WoS might also impact the regional boundary stuff, but it was way over my head. 

Turning VAR on for the SPL too would mean it is as close as it can be to the 22/23 season. 

I do have a one page overview of which teams changed leagues, but that as far as I got! I have an altered version of one of the mods with VAR on for SPL, Hearts B in the Lowland league, the two clubs I mentioned renamed and promotion/relegation done to level 5, but brick wall for me trying to sort Level 6 and below. 

This file is great, thank-you. The Glasgow Cup age issue is a problem though. 

Any plans to redo the file to match the hierarchical structure in the various leagues in advance of the new season?

Guess it is probably too big a task, particularly because new teams need added e.g. Eglinton.

Great work, thanks for this. Are Celtic and Rangers B now down to play two seasons in the Lowland League as per the league decision this week, or still just one season?

Ben Doak is at Celtic, he is Scottish and is 16, has just signed for Liverpool (official confirmation pending) but isn't in the game until FM23. This video might give you a start in terms of stats. He has played a couple of times for Celtic this season but has decided to go to Liverpool rather than stay.  Until it is announced he would probably be at Celtic in game, with a future transfer set for summer. Rumoured to have signed a £12,000 a week deal at Liverpool. More info in the articles.
