Thanks as always, brilliant work. Can I just check that the addition of a ‘europe’ sub folder within the Steam folder means that previous independent folders like Scotland etc. can now be deleted, as the config for any updated work won't point to those old folders anymore, only the new ones for nations within the update that can now be found inside Europe?

Am I also right in saying that any leagues not in the new update e.g. England, should remain where they are and don't need to go into the Europe folder, presumably because in time any new updates would go into the Europe folder but for now the xml still points to the folder outwith Europe?

Hi Dasz,

Brilliant work. I am currently working with majestic to roll out a major update to Scottish and English media sources and journalists. When testing, I noticed that on the screen that shows after a press conference, there is a generic background (I guess from the skin?). Do you know if there is a way to apply the backgrounds like yours to this screen too, so that it shows the club backdrop rather than a generic one? I am guessing it would be similar in that you would need one for the club that swapped in and out of the skin folder? I know it would be a long term project.

@rabcp might like this as it is a Hibs screenshot.

Brilliant skin, thank you for all of the hours you have put in. If my question has been answered please feel free to just say it has been answered and I will go back through the thread. When going to a match, I get the background that says ‘Coming Soon’ with the default image from the skin. However, I have loads of background packs, and was wondering if this is because the config files I have are meant to point to certain screen e.g. Club background, stadium background etc. but don't because my current config is missing those lines. Is it supposed to show stadium backgrounds of some kind, or is the ‘Coming Soon’ currently the default when using the skin?

Rab, thanks for the adidas board, works no bother.

In case it helps when redoing SPL, the green brigade banner does show in the correct place as the real stadium would be (diagonal right corner from dugouts) and can be seen in that location with the camera on reverse. However, SI have the away fans housed their so it says Green Brigade above the Hibs, Rangers, Hearts, Aberdeen fans etc.

If it isn't too hard to implement, would it be okay to swap it to the other side of the stadium in the diagonal opposite corner so that Celtic fans are under it. I know it is a really minor request and understand if too big an ask.

Type - Static: Location of Green Brigade banner is above away fans (SI have away fans where GB would be IRL), can it be diagonally swapped if okay?

I am awaiting the creation of a sub forum within sortitoutsi for the adboard patch (similar to what we have for the SS kits, metallic logos, cut out faces etc), there is a technical issue on sortitoutsi's side which is holding this up, I'll ask for an update and depending on the status I may create a temporary FM21 thread so I can release the update. I'll provide further clarity when possible

Yes, it I think Rab said it was a bug within FM, so in previous versions he included a blank ad first to make it work. From what I understand, SI fixed it to a degree but the black video was still within the file. If I have picked things up correctly, it will be fixed in Rab's new release for FM21 or will always remain as such. Apologies to Rab if I have picked this up incorrectly.

Has anyone tried to use this pack on FM21? I have managed to get it working, copied over bidstack file and all other folders.However, for some reason, and despite the fact that the 3D ads do work, the first 3D ad when playing in Scotland (only looked at games at Parkhead and Ibrox) is black, then the second onwards are from the pack. Trying to figure out if it is some sort of lag on my system, or if the very first 3D board is coded in such a way it looks for a particular file. Thought to share in case it comes up for others. After about five or ten seconds (real time) of highlights when the board changes it does kick in to show those from the pack.

Amazing work, and when I get paid next I will support this as it must take a massive amount of time. One thing I noticed was BetFred Cup semi and finals at Hampden, seem to show video ads for Arsenal. Emirates, then adidas etc. Have I picked it up wrong, or is the xml file pulling from the wrong place for the Betfred Cup. Thanks again.

This work is amazing, and without it the game just isn't the same. Thanks for all the time invested over the years. I know you mentioned that Celtic's video ads won't be updated until after the derby at the end of December, but I wanted to check that I have applied all files so far properly. Just played against Rangers at Ibrox, and all the video ads are working, but the static ads on the tiers are Puma etc. Am I right in thinking that for Celtic and Rangers, it is only the video ads that will be updated? I know the static for the rest of the SPL are sorted and they are great. Just looked a bit strange with Hummel on a video ad and puma up above it. Wanted to double check I haven't missed a step when updating somewhere. Thanks again.

Hi,

For consistency reasons, I think that if Ljungberg is not down as Arsenal manager, Ferguson should not be for Everton. When loading a new game, Ferguson is Everton manager, but Ljungberg isn't at Arsenal. Is there a way that they can be loaded as interim managers so that they show but that the vacancy still needs filled? If not, would it not be more realistic to go with the route taken for Ljungberg and leave them both in current role with manager positions vacant. Either way, I think what applies to one should apply to the other. Thanks.

Arsenal is looking for a Manager. Ljungberg is interim, so he is not established as First Team Manager. In the absence of Manager for the First Team, Ljungberg automatically becomes an Interim Manager (assistant manager), but at the same time in the game he goes in search of a substitute.
If Ljungberg is established as First Team Manager, it means that Arsenal does not look for another to impersonate it.

This may be a cross post. I notice that Ljungberg isn't down as manager, but for Everton, Duncan Ferguson is. Would it be best to be consistent, either have both as manager, or neither. Is there no way to apply 'Interim Manager'. I think both should be treated in same way.Don't know how to ensure someone reads this who can edit one or both of them. Thanks
