The first half we were the better team, we were pressing Liverpool and evidently not playing for a draw. It was only on the hour mark I felt we sat back more.

And like Ninja said Liverpool only had a couple of half chances, both teams were pretty poor on the night.

Well my personal disdain for Sunderland started when their fans did the Poznan against us at FT when City won the title in the final seconds. And then they did it again the following season, chanting about it and what not rather than cheering their own team on. It's petty of me I know.
