Fancied a different CM due to a few of my current ones underperforming.

Straight in as the starting LB, bloody Vega was gash.

On the outs I released about 78 players and took about 6k off the wage bill, come the end of the season I'm gonna cancel all my loan deals and clear another £700 off the wage bill, that will give me about 2k to play with when it comes to renewals. A glimmer of hope, more than a glimmer actually.

At the halfway stage give or take. Can't complain about the season so far really, we were tipped for relegation and we're staying clear of the mix. Only real worries long term are the amount of contracts I have running out this summer and the reality of replacing my loan stars next season.

In fairness a mini club reset could be good, there's so much shite in this team that needs shifting.

Club wages and finances are wrecked, thanks largely to the 40 cock suckers sitting in the U19 with a total wage bill of over £10k. Obviously crippling when the total wage bill is 17k but the budget is only 12k.

Thought these swines were meant to be good with money? My Jewish stereotypes have been torn apart. Although I do have a ST with a big nose.

Hit a horrible patch of form, decided to slightly edit things. I've moved the AMC back to a DMC role to try and give us more defensive cover, first game with that has given us a 2-0 win. Just slowly trying to make things work, this season all I want to do is avoid relegation. Next season ideally we'll be finishing top six (16 team league, top two go up), wanna slowly build.

15 gone, 9th place, six clear relegation.

In my view, past FMs have always struggled to adapt to new positions / roles brought in, hence why Poacher's were so over powered early on. So I can see why some of the newer roles will go down well in the engine.

Tactically I'm getting more and more used to things, but I can't say I really get any enjoyment out of the shout based system. I just don't really feel in control, I felt like I could dictate a lot more with the slider system.

This is the formation I have opted for, the wingers aren't in the squad for my world famous 433, so we go for the classic 4312. I had a few days to operate with in the window so I tried to sign the players to fit this 4312.

As soon as I arrived I was already 5k over the wage budget, so non-loan deals were not an option.

Poor season in my view, thanks to our dreadful start under my leadership. My last ten games consisted of 5 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats, so the signs of improvement were there but I just really wasn't feeling things.

I'm desperate to get back in Asia, just in that kind of Thai boy mood. So yes, I have resigned. This little club served its purpose, but I have bigger fish to fry.

I'm an old school kind of guy, always saw team talks as overrated personally. But hell, the only success on FM14 I've had in recent weeks is winning the Indian league title and getting a team from Malta relegated.

If I were you I would try and be consistent in your tactics, don't make radical changes from game to game, just slight changes until you find a winning formula / a formula you are happy with.

Its not possible but its a feature they should definitely bring into FM. Weekly real-life updates for some leagues in FM would be hugely popular, it would be a lot of work, but I think it could add a new dimension to the game and could breathe some life into it also.

They also 100% need to do some DBs from seasons gone by, you'd only need to create the dataset once and then import it from FM to FM in the future.

Out of the job for a couple of months, turned down a few Indian teams and lots of German ones. Nothing forthcoming from Asia but a decent team from Malta has offered me a deal. Don't really fancy it but I'm gonna weigh everything up. The contract on offer is only a six month deal, so I can take it and just see how things go. If I don't feel it, I can leave after six monh, if I get hooked, happy days.

Gonna have a good look at the squad and a few other bits and bobs.

I'm proud of Gaviao, took a few years for him to find his feet but it just shows, if you keep the faith then you can really reap the benefits. Too often people dispense and give up on players, hell I even still do it sometimes. But if you play the waiting game and look to the future, players can come good. Its taken four years to get him to this point.

20 goals in his last three seasons, 19 this season with three games left to play.

Did you load the Mexican league? Wealth of talent in the league and if you do decide to leave the national team eventually it could prove to be a great career step playing there.
