Tbh i dont think there was any pressure on him as of yet, going to take time and we were playing well before just not taking our chances. Hopefully this games a sign of things to come from Suarez, hope he can be more clinical.

can see Rodgers playing a couple of the youngsters who played in the Carling Cup midweek as well tbh, Suso, Sterling and Assadi could well start i think, looked really exciting together and our youngsters seem more likely to score than some of our more senior players

Im doing shocking in my manager mode. Played 6 or 7 league games and 1 cup game and have only scored 2 goals.

Much the same for me, only playing on Professional atm and struggling to score. Other teams seem to get alot of lucky goals as well with rebounds falling straight to opposition players.

Got paid today and realised work have fucked up

had to sign a new contract last Sunday and it had my job title down as Team Leader, so i signed it anyway and now im being paid as a Team Leader. Job i do always used to be a Team Leader job anyway but they stopped it a few years back, getting an extra £1.50 an hour now

It's about Heysel, how the club blamed everyone else but themselves, it's about Suarez, how the club blamed everyone else but themselves from start to finish, about Michael Shields (absolutely disgusting case), the CL final a few years ago with ticketless fans (UEFA's fault), every defeat against United is the referee's fault (2008, Fa Cup 2010, last weekend to give 3 examples) etc etc etc.

If it's so offensive why were Everton fans not taken to task for singing the same song at the FA Cup Semi last season? Why has nothing been mentioned about United fans singing it until last weekend when a couple of journalists started stirring tensions a week before the big match by suggesting that now suddenly it's all about Hillsborough. I agree it could be interpreted as referring to Hillsborough, and therefore it shouldn't have been sung this weekend. In saying that it wasn't until after the match when the Liverpool fans did what they did but that's a petty and childish reaction really.

Maybe, but it was more than the "small minority" tag that's usually attached to idiots who sign about Hillsbrough/Munich.

Not that it's the same as signing those songs, but it's still disgraceful.

And the "always the victim" chants are about Suarez, people/the media can try and attach it to other things irrelevant to the chants all they want but it doesn't change that fact.

But still singing those chants on that day was clearly intended to provoke a reaction.
