These are some new York players, and some, I consider to be improvements. If you don't think they are improvements, that is fine.

Here's an example of one I used this method on. IMO Clone stamp doesn't maintain the details of the skin which yields unnatural-looking results. Trying to remove the shadows instead of reduce them means the facial features will lack depth

Are you using clone stamp or something? My method is using an adjustment layer (usually Levels) to increase the brightness of the shadows (or reduce brightness of highlights), and using a layer mask to restrict the adjustment layer to only the shadows

When I go onto staff search though it only brings up scouts with knowledge of England or Scotland. Is there an easy way to hire scouts with a good overseas knowledge?

With the method I used, I applied the Vertus cutout as a layer mask to the source layer, then brushed in the missing bits. Alt-clicking on the layer mask in the layers panel shows it as a pure black-and-white mask which makes it easier to see which parts need filling in

The hair on this one has missing bits that need to be filled in again, I had that issue a lot with my Vertus attempts

Personally, I find it quicker and easier to just zoom in to 1200% and go at pictures like this with the pen tool. It's not the best but it's better than faffing around for half an hour trying to clean up dirty extractions.

@krissmed, using Vertus, I would manually select the strands of hair to include and the sections of the background to exclude. Not the easiest and quickest of tasks in a source like this tbh...

Just got an email off PayPal saying I was charged £10 today, I had completely forgotten there was a recurring payment each year and I've cancelled it immediately. Is there any way I can get a refund or am I basically stuck with premium for another year and can't get my money back.
