Shola Activity
By Poe | On 02 March 2016 - 22:18 PM GMTThat's like saying Elliot was our best goalkeeper.
Still played utter dross.
Gouffran and Colback were average, Mitrovic was at least trying, Sissoko, Shelvey and Wijnaldum were all absolute dross
By Number...
(Gouffran was our best attacking player)*
*Aside from Doubia who looks like he has a bit about him.
In fairness I still reckon you can get at Spurs' defence. Vertonghen and Alderweireld are a bit short and not exactly intimidating. Mitrovic got joy out of them by essentially being a fat bastard. Obvious the defensive 'system' is obviously...
By Ninja | On 28 February 2016 - 19:22 PM GMTPirlo is shit. I prefer Gerrard. England's Lion
Controversial but 100% correct.
Sanchez is closer in quality to Townsend and Johnson than he is to a genuinely world class player like Arjen Robben.
By Based Jorge | On 28 February 2016 - 17:23 PM GMTDunno at least Alexis can pull of some silks, whereas Townsend is simply wank and Johnson nonces kids
At least they've scored since November.
By Based Jorge | On 28 February 2016 - 17:06 PM GMTAlexis is essentially a right footed Robben
Except he's much, much worse
Townsend or Adam Johnson would be better comparisons.
By Ninja | On 28 February 2016 - 16:31 PM GMTThats not true.
He dived for a free kick 3, maybe 4, times.
But you're not bringing up Barcelona diving in mid week?
Should have sent Monreal off as well.
Why did Man Utd waste all that money on Martial?
Manchester United look very organised defensively so far. Varela looks all over the shop though.
Take it Borthwick-Jackson has broken himself?
By BR. | On 27 February 2016 - 18:09 PM GMTMassive result for Leicester today, they'll have to keep on finding a way of grinding results like that out I think against the lesser teams. West Brom at home in midweek will be another one where they'...
The press: Why do we keep giving these dark people the vote? And why don't they vote for us?
Alexis Sanchez is an absolute embarrassment.
Yep. Jack Colback what a guy!
Reckon the PL is more competitive. But you'd have to be fucking deluded to think Real, Barca, Bayern etc; would be at least 10 points clear this year.
That said, which clubs do you think are overachieving this year? I think quite possibly only Leice...
I don't know, I reckon it's the other way round. Players who half try at home, don't try away. Newcastle can't string two passes together, leading to the defence being under the kosh for 90 minutes, and an inability to get out of our h...
I'm not convinced we're negative. I just think we're fucking terrible away (and at home).
What's even crazier is that Pochettino has basically done it by bringing through Kane, Alli and Dier, and reintroducing Dembele. It's also mental to think Spurs have the best defence right now and Rose, Walker and Trippier have little chance of...
Better than most recent away games imo.
Also Fletcher, Graham, Johnson and Wickham all away?
Pray for Newcastle's nightclubs/
Are Newcastle actually that negative? I don't rate McClaren but I've never thought Newcastle are that negative.
Adam Johnson's flirting is far more embarrassing that the whole shagging kids thing.
By Franck | On 11 February 2016 - 19:51 PM GMTSunderland have terminated Adam Johnson's contract, to the surprise of no one.
Sunderland have really handled this awfully. As has the football media.
Derby apparently spent £25m this season. So probably that.
As well as if the higher ups believe they won't get promoted - they might reckon a new guy can give them the jolt to go for it.
I just checked my BMI - And I have another stone I can put on and still be classed in the healthy range. Gan on BMI.
Reports state the victim did not know what Kel loved
Pep's Barcelona achievements, are so understated.
He completely transformed Barcelona, so much so I think people have changed Rijkaard's team in their heads.
the 2006; Valdes, Oleguer, Puyol, Maquez, Van Bronckhorst, Edmilson, Deco, Van Bomme...
By Poe | On 06 February 2016 - 18:57 PM GMTYou also have Pardew who Shola thinks is a 'stand out' manager in the PL.
He's gotten an awful Palace side safe from relegation. They're closer to Man United and European football than the dr...
Yeah I thought it was a lot less. like 100 calories or something shit.
Anyway I'm gaining weight like fuck. Up to 194 pounds.
Do you actually burn much calories from excercising? I used to have a Nike running app, and like 6 mile runs never seemed to burn anything too significant?
I'm currently listening to I'm your Man by Wham! while looking at pictures of Tony Pulis.
Ah great Barkley diving to get a player sent off in the 90th. Brilliant.
An absolute non performance from our midfield. Again. Wijnaldum anonymous, Sissoko barely involved, Saivet looks like he doesn't know how to play midfield, and Shelvey somehow worse than all of them put together.
Paul Dummett falling over while midw...
By Poe | On 03 February 2016 - 20:23 PM GMTDummett
Has been one of our better players? Aside from that stupid foul on Lennon has played alright
I don't think Poe is....
God Shelvey and Saivet. Amazing we've got Tiote fit and available and were playing these guys.
I do not understand McClaren and Ayoze Perez.
Dropped in favour of Rolando Aarons last week. Starts ahead of Mitrovic and Doumbia tonight.
they're 10 points above Newcastle
Only Alan Pardew could get hate for having a pretty shite Palace side in 11th
Impressive how Florian Thauvin's spell at Newcastle is currently only his third worst spell at a club - he's 22.
(It's actually possible that it's better than his first Marseilles spell as well)
Man City have been poor tonight. Sunderland have actually been very good.
Fernando has actually improved Man City ffs
According to the Secret Footballer, Pulis wants to offload Berahino, and sign players and Pulis/his agent get commission on the deals. He's desperate to cash in now as he'll know he'll get sacked soon. Pearce meanwhile is willing to sell Be...
By Based Jorge | On 31 January 2016 - 22:09 PM GMTWe'd get £25m+ for Ox mainly because most people still believe he's a good player with huge potential, baffling to me as he hasn't improved since he's come here.
The market for E...
Doesn't seem worse than than the likes of Michail Antonio going for £8m, or Matt Phillips apparently being around for £8m, James Chester for £8m etc. - Probably achieved as much if not more that 'the Ox' at International l...
I don't know them stats are from 2013/14 - Townsend might be better than Hazard now!!
Pulis no doubt salivating about all the centre backs's he can sign - then playat full back a few times, before benching them for Craig Dawson.
Well if he can pass the ball five yards, he'll be an improvement on the former winger.
Honestly - I've always liked Townsend. - but he really does seem to get a a hell of a stick from Spurs fans.
Aye, Shelvey notorious for not being bad and frequent at long distance shots.
I reckon it's weird how everyone was so outraged at Spurs asking for £14m for Townsend, doesn't seem any worse than £7m for Gomis, £12m for Shelvey of £21-£25m we're apparenly quoted for Berahino.
Reckon Rhodes would be a better punt than the other options Newcastle are looking at.
I agree he's better and if he reaches his potential then he'll be absolutely miles better.
But leaking goals will be the most likely reason Newcastle are relegated. And Mbemba is a sieve at the moment. (And McClaren's not helping either)
