@amking, good work - a couple of things to keep in mind: a) when you have a lot of images to upload, then you should upload them as a pack instead of individually and save the both of us some time. You can also upload up to 50 images per pack instead...
Given how fast the submission forum moves, it makes little sense to post on an individual player's timeline with a generic query, so I'm replying to you in the correct place. Read the first post of this thread for an answer to your question 👍
@EastLondonBubbles, not bad, but I'd crop the images slightly beneath the chin, leaving 2-3 pixels of the neck. Also, please remember that we want all cuts to include a little bit of collar. At the same time, the ideal cut only contains 2-3 pix...
Yes, a source 100 pixels high and wide will struggle to produce an image in 180x180 which is not pixellated and blurry, as per the request guidelines…
Too small.
@dstyle87 - did you not see this?
@renskay, do you still have the original source? I'd prefer to have the full head rather than the top bit chopped off.
Not bad @jazos but please remember that we want all cuts to only contains 2-3 pixels beneath the chin. At the same time, the ideal cut includes a little bit of collar. Since in some sources like this one, the person in the image may have a longer neck tha...
Reinstalling the game will make no difference at all since the files are installed elsewhere. Can I see a screenshot of your graphics folders? As well as a screenshot of your faces folder, showing clearly the amount of images in it?
Can I see a screenshot of the downloaded file? Have you downloaded Winrar to extract it?
As already pointed out, it's good if you have a look at a person's timeline to avoid working on images already completed @Pierre-Manu …
This has been cut already @Pierre-Manu. Do check a person's timeline before cutting them, just in case. Also, your images are invariably not as sharp as they could be (such as with the Karadogan cut earlier). Either you're not cropping the sources be...
@mittadj, I believe we've spoken about this already, but when you have a lot of images to upload, then you should upload them as a pack instead of individually and save the both of us some time. You can also upload up to 50 images per pack instead of just...
I see what you mean, and generally speaking, I agree, but if the quality is poor or the original source is very small, then the eventual cut will be pixellated and blurry, sometimes to the extent that the person is barely identifiable.
It's got a little bit of snow, could do with being brightened and doesn't have a collar, however. I'll fix that, but do keep them in mind for future cuts 😉
This is specifically addressed in point 8 of the FAQ: the only way to do is via an in-game editor
Cut recently from virtually identical source @phucp174 - so not an improvement.
You don't seem to have installed either correctly. Can we have the full path of the M24/Graphics that you're referring to? I suspect you've installed in the game installation folder (Steam) instead of the user data folder (Documents).
@Juancho07, you've left this pack as draft and haven't uploaded it fully 😉
Makes little sense to replace a 250x cut with one in 180x.
Nudge the collar upwards and crop no more than 2-3 pixels beneath the chin @Magmanovic, same as what I told you last week.
If they aren't included in the config file, then the game won't know who to assign the new images to. Here's a thread on how to edit your config file to accomplish this 👍
Essentially identical to the current cut, and the requested source isn't the biggest either, so it doesn't warrant cutting.
@amuntche14, please remember to include collars in all your cuts. Also, when sources are this poor, perhaps it's better just to give them a miss outright…
Did you add them to the config or just download them?
By understanding you don't need to create a new thread to ask a slightly different version of the same question, and by avoiding pestering people with no reason. Moderators are generally approached due to their common sense and understanding; those w...
Use the tactics section @puscr#0
Not really large enough to provide an improvement…
Are there? Can you point them out so I can fix them? Irrespective of that, please be sure to follow the guidelines and include collars in all your cuts:
Should be updated in the next update pack, released between tonight and tomorrow 👍
Where? I'm not seeing it, sorry 😕
Side profile image means it's no better than the current cut, which is essentially identical.
Keep an eye out for snow @Rdzin - a lot of the images you uploaded in these packs contained a fair bit…
Keep an eye out for snow @TiagoSeattle, as well as unrealistically green skin hues 😉
@elkhoa10, make sure to save your images in RGB format and to include a collar 👍
@enziocosta, don't save your images in index mode, because this is what they look like, in Photoshop at least:
@AIEK, what technique are you using? The hair is a bit fuzzy and lacking details. Can you upload the original source images of these rejected cuts without the background removed?
It isn't, so no idea why it's telling you that. Is it WinRar you're using?
@Umut Gultekin, can we have the original source?
No collar @Pierre-Manu
You need to pay a lot more attention, then.
I have no idea how you've ended up with folders instead of images. Delete everything you have, and use Winrar to extract the base megapack.
@malman, please follow the guidelines and cut no more than 2-3 pixels beneath the chin.
No idea what you mean 😕
Cutters take on images they want to. Ideally, they are cut in the order they are requested, but we all do this in our spare time and sometimes people prefer some requests to others. We have around 2,400 pending images, so the best way to see your req...
Me neither, but next time, just download the image to your hard drive and upload it from there, which is what I did 😉
All 3 are fine, but I prefer the first one as it's a bit brighter. One small thing: the image has a bit of snow in the hair. Here's a video on how to easily spot and remove snow:
Images posted like this might get missed. We have an upload image button - use it 👍
Good work @Pierre-Manu 👏 If you're uploading a completed cut, however, there's really no need to upload the source too - save yourself some time 😉
