A guy who sees the potential in the world, and enjoys gaming. What more of a reason could I need?
After being turned down by New York City FC, I decided to resign from my post at Melbourne City after five years in charge of the A-League side. The main question now is: will I end my time in Australia on a high, remembered fondly, or will I end my time at Melbourne City on a sour note?
I have been making plans to leave Melbourne City at the end of the season, when my contract expires. So when the New York City FC job became available, I knew I might have to take the chance to move to the MLS or end up unemployed after having conquered Australia while waiting for the Montevideo City Torque job to become available. Did I get the job offer, or was I snubbed by the MLS side?
After completing the invincible season in the A-League last season, I have found myself asking whether I want to finish out the last season of my current contract at Melbourne City. So when I was approached by both Lyon and Chelsea about job interviews, I found myself wondering whether I should resign as the manager of Melbourne City and wait for my next desired job to come along.
Having won our 4th A-League Regular Series title last time out, we are in a unique position to finish the domestic season undefeated. The AFC Champions League constantly feels out of my reach, but if we win the Final Series title, we could do the one thing that has never been done in Australian football. Could we achieve something that would make me a legend in Australian football?
After winning the Australia Cup, the last trophy needed to complete my conquest of Australia, I am now in a position to leave for my next job. What I wasn't expecting was for a LaLiga team to approach me about a job interview. LaLiga is a league I want to manage in the future, but I was not expecting to be interviewed by a team in that league so soon. Should I be excited for the future?
After the surprise participation in the FIFA Club World Cup, where we claimed the scalp of River Plate, we now focus on winning the Australia Cup for the first time on our third attempt and ending Melbourne City's 17-year drought without the Australia Cup. We've had a busy transfer window, which I think will take us to the next level. Did we add enough to win our 6th trophy at Melbourne City?
After securing the A-League Regular Series and A-League Finals Series trophies this season, we were given a massive shock when it was announced that we had been invited to the FIFA Club World Cup and thrown into a group with Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid and River Plate. I don't think we have a chance of getting any points in this group, but I'd like to be proven wrong. Do we have a chance of getting anything from this group?
After having a terrible start to the season, we've managed to recover our form, and now it's come down to the last game of the season in the A-League Regular Series. Win, and we're champions for the 3rd season in a row. If we do worse than Adelaide United, and they're champions of the A-League Regular Series. We also have a chance to win the A-League Finals Series for the 2nd consecutive year. It's just a shame that we couldn't win the Australia Cup earlier in the season.
After failing to win the Australia Cup, which would have allowed me to leave Melbourne City, I found myself hoping that Miguel Ponce would be kept on for another season at Montevideo City Torque. However, that doesn't excuse what has, in my mind, been a poor season so far. The way things have been going, we might not even get the chance to challenge for the Australia Cup to complete my conquest of Australian football.
After winning the last piece of silverware that I needed to win before I could move on, the Melbourne City job in Australia has come up, and I needed no hesitation to apply for the role. Did I not only get a job interview at the club but also get the role of their new manager, or was I rejected after winning three trophies at Peng City?
Last season, we won the league and cup double, and now I only have to win the Chinese Super Cup to have won all the trophies I need to complete everything I can domestically. We might have the Asian Champions League Two to win, but with a new Japanese superstar arriving in the winter transfer window, I feel like we have a chance to make history at Peng City. Though what's this about the Melbourne City manager retiring in the summer?
After spending big money in the winter and looking very impressive in the first half of the season, I am under the impression that the domestic double is on the cards for what is starting to look like a super team in the Chinese Super League. If we win the Chinese Super League and the Chinese FA Super Cup, we'll have won two of the three trophies I need to win before we can move on to the next destination. We also make our Asian Champions League Two debut, so we will have a feel of what to expect going forward.
After finishing second and qualifying for the Asian Champions League Two, I knew I had to prepare for continental football for the first time. If I wanted to do well in the Champions League, win the Chinese Super League, and the Chinese Super FA Cup this season, I knew that I needed to bring in the best players. So when an exciting player became available, I decided to spend a lot of money to secure his signature. Will I regret spending the most out of all the Chinese teams in this transfer window?
We've survived the first season at Peng City and have been given a £5.5 million transfer budget to rebuild the squad and achieve the board's goals. I believe that we can attempt to get a top-half finish this season, and if we make the right additions to the squad that fit the league's registration rules, maybe we can even aim for even higher.

It's the beginning of a new save I've been wanting to when the 2026 start date became available. I'm going on a journeyman save where I have to manage every single playable team from the City Football Group in a journeyman save, which will see me travel all over the world. Our first stop? Peng City in the Chinese Super League. We have nine games to save them from relegation, as part of a 12-team relegation battle. It is quite unlike anything I've ever seen before.
It's the start of the 15th season, and over the summer, I managed to convince the new board to create a new affiliation, this time with a club in Italy. I am hopeful that the team can continue to develop as we try to regain the Ligue 1 title and win our first Champions League title. What should we be aiming for this season?
It's the end of the 14th season, and despite my concerns about it, something I didn't expect to change was what got replaced instead of me. Even if the season could be called successful by the club and the fans, I still feel like we've underachieved compared to what I thought we could achieve. Can I be excited by this board takeover?
