Hi guys, do you want to find the best tactics about Football Manager? You are in the right place!
I have been playing Football Manager since 2006 and before I played CM97-98, Scudetto and PC Calcio (Italian version) 98-99 I always loved football, its tactical and strategical aspects and even if I like playing FIFA and PES too, I prefer playing Football Manager.
Here I will regularly post tactics and tips about this game and about player bargaining, wonderkids shortlists, sleeping giants clubs rebuilds and many other game related topics.
I hope you like my videos and if that is the case please subscribe to my channel to keep updated with my newest contents.
If you have some requests such as some tactics emulations you would like to see of course please feel free to ask me using comments to my videos.

#footballmanager2024 #fm24tactics #fm24 Hi guys, this time, instead of emulating some manager's tactic in Football Manager 2024, I'll introduce to you my tactic experiment. This tactic is inspired by Guardiola's famous saying : "Space is our striker" I decided to create a 4-3-3 strikerless tactic and to test it during more than one season and with a lower league team instead of a Top /Elite team in only one season as I do for manager's tactic emulation test. I chose a club who lost its status, Lanerossi Vicenza, since 2000-2001 they weren't able to get promoted to Serie A anymore and recently they are in 3rd division (Serie C). i gave myself only one goal: win serie C and Serie B and get promoted to Serie A in only 2 years and I not only achieved it but also dominated the opponents and played a beautiful football and most of all, I scored a lot despite not having any striker. And in Serie A, I managed to finish 3rd and qualify to next season Uefa Champions League, with the 2nd best attack and maybe conceeding a bit much in defense but I did not have great players. In fact, the club obviously did not give me much money to spend on player transfers, so I had to scout a lot of young players, use loans from other clubs during the first two seasons and also in Serie A, I tried to save money and created a great squad. #footballmanager2024 #fm24tactics #guardiola Hi guys, welcome back to this series dedicated to #pepguardiola tactics. In this video we'll analyze a different version of his season 2010-11 tactic at Barcelona. In my last video, I reproduced the player roles as close as possible to reality, but this time I wanted to tweak some roles in a more effective way to play in #footballmanager2024 Therefore, I decided to change the F9 role to a trequartista, a more effective role in the game and we will see how Lewandowski who is neither a f9 neither a trequartista drops deep to link the play and also scores a lot of goals and he is like a fish in the water in this role. Then I changed something in the midfield, I switched the HB role to a DLP in defend. Many argue that Busquet's contribute to building the play was quite underestimated and I believe they are right. Sergio Busquets is not only a great defensive midfielder who can protect the defense and drop deep between the CBs to create a back trio defense and help to build the play (thus I chose the HB in my last tactic because it really drops between the CBs in game) but he is also great with the ball at his feet and very pressing resistant, if you watch Barcelona highlights until last season you can see how he often keeps the ball and dodges opponents pressing and starts the play. Therefore, in this new tactic inspirated by Barcelona's 2010-2011 tactic, I decided to give him the DLP role (defend) , he will not drop deeper as much as the HB but he still does it. For Xavi, since I already gave the DLP role to Busquets, I chose a Roaming playmaker role because Xavi as a right central midfielder often could move wider to receive the ball from Messi or Pedro (right winger) and create a triangle that helped possession and cut backs too (Messi from his central forward position dropped deeper and Pedro could cut inside from the right side behind Messi's back to occupy Messi's central position) or Xavi could receive the ball from Pedro and pass it to Messi. For Iniesta's role, I chose a mezzala (attack) instead of an AP because Iniesta liked both to move forward into the box and wider on the left side while the FB Abidal did not push forward on his side. That's all for this tactic analysis. I tested it with Barcelona in one season (2023-2024) and won all trophies, playing beautiful football and dominating possession (average possession more than 60%) and xg (2.68 per game) but also conceeding only a few goals becoming the best defense and best attack in Spanish La Liga. I hope it works for you too. #footballmanager2024 #fm24tactics #tikitaka Hi guys, welcome to my second emulation of Pep Guardiola's historical series. This time I emulated Barcelona's 2010-11 season tactic. In that season Barcelona sold Ibrahimovic to AC Milan and replaced him with a different type of striker, David Villa. Since the second half of season 2008-2009, Messi started playing more as a central striker with Samuel Eto'o who agreed to swap his position with the Argentinian genius and play wide on the right flank. Eto's versatility allowed Pep to create this new False 9 attacking solution which surprised most of their opponents. But, in season 2009-2010, Barcelona sold Eto'o to Inter Milan and paid Euro 49 millions to buy Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Unfortunately, Ibrahimovic was not willing to leave his central forward position to play wider on the right side and allow Messi to play central. Ibrahimovic struggled to do so and even if Guardiola tried to convince him, Ibrahimovic always refused. Besides, when Messi was playing wider on the right and Ibrahimovic in the centre, they struggled to play together because Ibrahimovic loved to drop deeper to link the play and Messi, who liked to cut inside and play in central areas often stepped on Ibra's toes. Finally, Pep Guardiola decided to put Ibra on the bench and Messi played as F9 as he liked. In summer 2010, Ibrahimovic moved to AC Milan and Barcelona replaced him with David Villa who was a very versatile player and ready to play wide on the left, while the Barcelona Youth team star Pedro got promoted to the First Squad by Pep and played wide on the right. This forward trio Pedro-Messi-Villa with Messi as False 9 scored a lot of goals and contributed to win the Treble ( Spanish Liga, Spanish Supercup and Uefa Champions League) and to finished 2nd in Copa del Rey. I decided to emulate this tactic in Football Manager and to test it with AC Milan, I won Serie A and Coppa Italia and lost the UEFA Champions League final against Paris Saint Germain. Of course, as always, I did not buy neither sell any players so the squad is the same at the beginning and at the end of the season. I hope this tactic works for you too. #footballmanager2024 #fm24tactics #fm24 Hi guys, this time, as requested by someone of you, I tried to emulate Lee Carsley's U21 England 4-2-3-1, the tactic that made him win UEFA U21 Eurocup last year. In this video you can see some opta stats and analysis of the great possession play of U21 England, and some in-game screenshots where I explain how it worked in game. Then I will show you the stats of my great season as Leeds manager, with this tactic I won the English Skybet Championship, scoring 135 goals (best attack) winning 40 games, draw 4 and lost only 2, for a total of 124 points. Let's delve now in a short tactical analysis England U21 boasts a deep and talented squad, with manager Lee Carsley favoring a 4-2-3-1 formation. England U21 exhibits a consistent style under Carsley, allowing for seamless player rotation. Statistics reveal a possession-based approach, with high numbers for possession (98th percentile), passes per match (90th percentile), and accurate passes (92nd percentile). However, it these numbers might decrease against stronger opponents. Carsley utilizes possession as a tool for his Positional Play strategy. The team retains the ball in deeper areas, using it to organize and stretch the pitch before progressing the attack. Their strong backline and double-pivot midfield facilitate this possession-based approach. Their structure adheres to textbook Positional Play principles. Players maintain specific spatial relationships throughout the pitch, as shown in the 4-2-3-1 formation. Initially, fullbacks provide width in deeper positions, while the midfield duo occupies central areas. As the fullbacks push forward, the wingers move into the half-spaces. This rotation ensures only one player occupies the wide area at any given time. This strategy is effectively executed regardless of the specific players involved. Fullbacks like Rico Lewis can invert and move centrally, with wingers remaining wide. This flexibility and understanding of positional roles are key aspects of their attacking approach. This approach involves fluid movement and rotations. A central midfielder might drop deep, triggering a chain reaction where the winger fills the vacated space. This continuous movement aims to find solutions while adhering to the core spatial principles. These principles aim to stretch the opposition, opening passing lanes and creating advantageous situations. Triangles form in wide areas, and diagonal passes flow in and out of half-spaces, disrupting the opponent's defensive organization. England U21 prioritizes dominating possession and utilizes an aggressive pressing strategy. This is evident in their low PPDA (measure of pressing intensity) and exceptional pressing efficiency ranking (98th percentile). Their success in recovering the ball in the final third (81st percentile) further emphasizes this approach. Defensively, they employ a 4-2-3-1 formation as a base. However, this structure transforms into an asymmetrical pressing shape. One winger joins the striker in pressing the opponent's central defenders, creating an aggressive high block. Transitions: England's approach to transitions aligns with Carsley's overall philosophy. Defensively, they aim for immediate recovery through counter-pressing. This tactic leverages their strong rest defense, built on the principles of Positional Play, allowing them to regain possession swiftly and maintain dominance. Offensively, their approach is twofold: Counter-attacks: When space allows and the opposition is vulnerable, England utilizes individual talent and coordinated movements to launch dangerous counter-attacks. Regaining Control: If space is limited, they prioritize possession recovery. They rebuild their structure using Positional Play principles before initiating attacks. This is all for this tactic analysis. I hope this tactic works for you too, thanks for watching and if you like my video please smash the like button and subscribe. #footballmanager2024 #fm24tactics #fm24 Hi guys, welcome back to my channel March 8th was my channel first birthday and for this reason I decided to recreate Pep Guardiola's historical tactics, from his first Barcelona tikitaka (2008-2009 season) till his current Manchester City tactics. In this video, I will introduce to you his first tactic, the first tikitaka he used at Barcelona in season 2008-2009, when Barcelona forwards were Messi on the right, Henry on the left and Eto'o on the center. In this series about Guardiola's tactics I will not cover the following season 2009-2010 when Ibrahimovic joined Barcelona and struggled a lot to play with Messi because both of them wanted to play in a central area, Ibra wanted to drop deep to link the play and he never accepted to swap position with Messi and move to the right flank, something that only Eto accepted to do and did very well. Tiki-taka, the possession-based strategy synonymous with Guardiola's Barcelona, revolutionized football. Explore its origins, technical aspects, impact on Spain's dominance, and its influence on the modern game. Tiki-Taka's Origins: It emerged under Guardiola, but drew inspiration from Rinus Michels' Total Football. Beyond Possession: While ball retention was key, Tiki-Taka emphasized exploiting space through intelligent passing and movement. This overwhelmed opponents, tiring them out and forcing mistakes. Technical Emphasis: Tiki-Taka thrived on players with exceptional technical skills, vision, and anticipation. It challenged the dominance of physical play. Space Creation: More than just short passes, Tiki-Taka involved creating space through triangles and diamonds for effective passing options. Guardiola's Tactics: He emphasized player positioning and regaining possession high up the pitch. This included a high defensive line and pressing strategy. Attacking Phase: Short passing aimed to break down opponents and create space for attackers. Positional play with specific roles for players was crucial. Habit Football: Training drills instilled "habit football," where players instinctively made decisions based on positioning and movements. Overall, Tiki-Taka was a tactical philosophy that prioritized controlling the game through superior positioning and intelligent use of space. It relied heavily on technical skills, teamwork, and tactical awareness. PLayer roles Goalkeeper (Sweeper Keeper - Attack) Plays as an extra outfield player, aiding ball circulation. Excellent first touch, passing, anticipation, composure. Central Defenders One Defend Duty for solidity and interceptions. One Ball Playing Defender for better passing and build-up play. Strong in concentration, positioning, tackling, heading. Wingbacks Complete Wingback (Right): Focuses on attacking the final third with dribbling, crossing, and key passes. Wingback Support (Left): Provides defensive cover, ball circulation, and support to central playmakers. High stamina, teamwork, and tactical understanding are crucial. Deep Lying Playmaker (DLP) - The Brains Behind Tiki-Taka Dictates tempo, initiates attacks with clever passes. Excellent anticipation, positioning, decision-making, and passing. DLP-Defend for formations with one striker. DLP-Support (DLP-S) prioritizes creative passing over dribbling (think Xavi). Advanced Playmaker Attack (AP-A) - The Partner in Creativity Offers alternative passing options, disrupts defenses with runs and through balls. Strong vision, decision-making, off-the-ball movement, work rate. Complements DLP-S with his attacking dimension. Inside Forward Support (IF-S) Left IF-S: More attacking, creates chances, provides width, and overlaps. Right IF-S: More defensive, creates space for others, works with CWB-A. Both require creativity, off-the-ball movement, technical skills, stamina. Complete Forward (Support or Attack): drops deep to receive the ball and open space for the two inside forwards. #footballmanager2024 #fm24tactics #fm24mobile Hi guys, this time I emulated Brian Clough's Nottingham Forest tactic. To emulate this tactic I used some sources that I link below if someone of you wants to know more about this great manager. Sources I used for my tactic analysis ● Brian Clough: The Biography: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Damned_Utd ● The Damned Utd: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Damned-Utd-David-Peace/dp/0571224334 ● Nottingham Forest: The Official History: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Official-History-Nottingham-Forest-Anniversary/dp/1849310874 Tactical Analysis of Brian Clough's Nottingham Forest Brian Clough's Nottingham Forest stands as one of the most iconic teams in football history. Between 1977 and 1980, the side rose from the Second Division to consecutive European Cup victories, an unprecedented feat. Playing System Clough deployed Nottingham Forest in a fluid and flexible 4-4-2. Fullbacks Viv Anderson and Frank Clark were both adept at pushing forward and supporting the attack, while central defenders Burns and Lloyd provided solidity. In midfield, Mc Govern acted as the playmaker, while Ian Bowyer served as a tenacious tackler. Wingers John Robertson and Trevor Francis were known for their pace and dribbling skills. Upfront, Peter Withe offered physical presence, while Garry Birtles provided speed and movement. Attacking Play Nottingham Forest were a highly offensive outfit, adhering to a philosophy of free-flowing, possession-based football. Players interchanged positions seamlessly, creating scoring opportunities with intelligent movement. Defense Despite their attacking prowess, Forest remained defensively sound. The team was well-organized, difficult to break down, and adept at exploiting opportunities on the counter-attack. In this video you will see some of Nottingham Forest's highlights, how I created the tactic in Football Manager 2024 and finally, stats and highlights of my two seasons with Nottingham Forest and Juventus. I won Premier League and FA CUP with Nottingham Forest, scored more than 100 goals dominated XG and possession. With Juventus, I won Italian Cup and finished 2nd in Serie A behind AC Milan. By the way, in that Nottingham the right full-back Anderson was a very attacking player and the team attacked more on the right flank while on the left, Frank Clark was more defensive and Robertson was more a kind of inverted winger. Obviously, if in your team you have the most attacking players on the left side you can change the roles (e.g. put the CWB on the left and the WB on the right, you can manage it according to your squad features). #footballmanager2024 #fm24tactics #fm24 Hi guys, welcome back to my channel. This time, as requested by someone of you before, I emulated Philippe Clement's 4-2-3-1, the tactic he is using at Ibrox Park this year with great results. Currently he is 1st with 70 points, 2 points ahead of Celtic, and this year Rangers could really win the title. I hope so, I am not one of their fan but I sympatize for them more than for Celtic, because one of my favourite Italian players, Gattuso, played for them when he was young before coming back to Italy and becoming one of Milan's best players in history. In this video you will see a tactical analyisis made by myself with the aid of google tactical board, the emulation in the game, stats and highlights. To emulate this tactic in #footballmanager2024 footballmanager2024, I started from a basic 4-2-3-1 with a positive mentality. Since Clement likes to play a possession-based game, in the team instructions, I selected a fairly wide attacking width, play out of defense (this way we can build from the back), shorter passing, slightly higher tempo, low crosses (even if sometimes we can see Rangers playing whippeld crosses too, but I prefer to use low crosses in the game it works better for possession tactics), work the ball into the box. In transition instructions, Clement likes his team to press high and win the ball as soon as possible, in order to launch counter-attacks from higher positions, easier to score. So counter-press and counter are a must in this tactic. As for goalkeeper instructions, take short kicks and distribute to the two center backs are suitable instuctions. Finally, in the out of possession phase, high press and higher defensive line combined with a more often trigger press, step up more to apply the offside-trap and trap outside to force opponents to play near the touchline leaving them less options to dribble or pass. About players roles and instructions, our goalie, Butland can both play as simple goal-keeper in defend or sweeper-keeper on support, in Rangers matches we always see him playing with the ball and helping the build up so I chose the sweeper-keeper role in support (no instructions). The two full-backs are Tavernier and Barisic (or Yilmaz), Tavernier is definitely a complete wing-back (support). I instructed him to play more direct passes because you can see him often trying to play through passes to other midfielders and forwards, cross more often (if you take a look at Scottish Premier League stats, you can see that Tavernier and Yilmaz are among the players who made the greatest amount of crosses) and cut inside with the ball, when Tavernier has the ball he will try to cut inside and help build the play, but his main task is to cross from wider areas into the box. On the other side, we have Yilmaz (or Barisic), this role is a wing-back (support) and as for Tavernier, I instructed him to stay wider, cross more often and play more direct passes. The two central defenders, Goldson and Davies are two BPD in defend and if you want to see them carrying the ball forward to build the play from higher position and avoid pressing, then you can add the dribble more instructions to both of them. The two defensive mdifielders (I chose Lundstrom and Diomande, using the same formation of last game against Klimarnock) roles are a DLP (support) and Volante (support), both have the mark tigther instruction to be sure they will follow the opponents players). The volante (Diomande) is instructed to shoot more often this will allow him to try long range shots, get further forward because I want him to move into the box and push forward and close down more, while the DLP has the more direct passes instruction so that he can play through balls. The Attacking midfielder (attack) Lawrence is instructed to move into channels, roam from position because we will see him often exchanging position with the left winger or search for spaces, dribble more (he will carry the ball more) and tackle harder (he must apply pressing to the defenders). The left winger (Danilo, Cortes, Matondo) is an inside forward who will sit narrower and swap position with the AM and mark tigther, while Sterling, the right winger is a winger in attack with no instructions. Finally, the striker is an AF instructed to tackle harder. I hope this tactic works for you too, thanks for watching. If you liked this video please smash the like button and subscribe, thanks everyone. Hi guys, last time I posted a different version of Carlo Ancelotti's Real Madrid tactic, with a diamond shaped midfield and a defensive midfielder who should provide more cover to our defense, especially in the space between the central midfield and the defense. This time I tried to emulate Ancelotti's tactic in a more realistic way. First of all, even if Tchouameni or Camavinga can drop deeper to cover the defense creating a diamond shape midfield, Real Madrid's typical shape this year is a 4-3-1-2 with a central midfielders trio, usually Valverde, Tchouameni and Modric or Kroos So let's examine how I recreated this tactic in Football Manager 2024. I created two tactics, one for home matches, one for away matches, with only one difference, the central midfielder duty is support in the first and defend in the second version. First of all, the basic shape is a 4-3-1-2, the back fours are Carvajal as a wing-back in support (no player instructions) and Mendy as a wing-back in attack (no player instructions). The two central defenders are Rudiger and Alaba as ball-playing defenders in defend with only one instruction to dribble more. This way they will carry the ball forward and contribute to build-up the play. In the midfielder trio, we find Valverde as right-midfielder with the role of a mezzala in support (tackle harder and shoot more often to take advantage of his great long range shooting ability), Tchouameni in the centre with the role of a central midfiender in support (or in defend in the second tactic) instructed to take fewer risks and tackle harder, to disrupt the opponents play and Modrid (or Kroos) as deep-lying playmaker in support, the real core of Real Madrid's midfield. The attacking midfielder is Jude Bellingham he is an attacking midfielder in attack and I instructed him to roam from position because I want him to find spaces and move into channels because I want him to move into the box, and of course tackle harder, he has to win the ball back as soon as possible. The two strikers, Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo are two advanced forward in attack with the following instructions: tackle harder (they have to press the defendants and win the ball), roam from position ( they can find spaces to carry the ball or try to score) and stay wider (they can move also to the flank and act as inside forwards). As I said in the previous tactic analysis, I do not like to use a couple of players in the same position and with the same role, especially attacking players, such as I did here, Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo both advanced forwards, but this is the more realistic way to emulate their play in this season. If you want you can change Rodrygo to a complete forward to make him link up the play more. Team instructions Mentality: positive In possession: fairly narrow attacking width ( to make the team be more compact), play out of defense, and focus play through the middle, shorter passing, and[ higher tempo, low crosses, (Vinicius and Rodrygo are not tall and good at heading they are very fast) and be more expressive. In transition: take short kicks, distribute to center backs and full backs, counter and counter-press Out of possession: higher defensive line, higher pressing line, more often trigger press, prevent gk short distribution, step up more to apply the off-side trap, trap outside, stop crosses. With this beautiful tactic, I won all trophies, including the UEFA Champions League, (even if against PSG and Bayern Munich I needed penalty-kicks) final against Manchester City, scoring a lot of goals , 172 goals in one season (all competitions), and conceding not much (51 goals, 28 in Liga). #footballmanager2024 #fm24tactics #realmadrid Hi guys, today I emulated Carlo Ancelotti's new tactics, the tactics he is currently using at Real Madrid now. To emulate Ancelotti’s Real Madrid, I created two different tactics, a 4-1-2-1-2 with a narrow-diamond midfielder and a 4-3-1-2 with a central midfielders trio. Team instructions are the same for both tactics, only players roles and personal instructions may slightly variate. 1) Ancelotti’s Diamond Narrow Mentality: positive In possession instructions Attacking width: fairly narrow to be more compact Passing: shorter (that matches with the fairly narrow width) Tempo: higher Play out of defense Focus play through the middle to overload the central area Low crosses: we don’t have tall strikers in our Real Madrid squad, but very fast strikers like Vinicius Jr. and Rodrigo Work the ball into the box Be more expressive: this gives more freedom to our players, that’s what Ancelotti exactly wants, as I said in the analysis. In transition Counter-press: to instruct our players to win the ball as soon as possible applying pressing Counter: launch fast counter-attacks after winning the ball Distribute ball to center-backs and full-backs: this to help build the play from the back Take short kicks: instruction that matches with the ball distribution Out of possession High pressing line and higher defensive line: to maintain our team compact Pressing: more often Step up more: apply off-side trap Trap outside: force our opponents to play hugging the touchline Stop crosses: this is how I tried to solve Real Madrid’s problem that I mentioned in the analysis above. Player roles and instructions Defense: Lunin (Courtouis) : sweeper-keeper in support, no instructions Dani Carvajal: wing-back in support, no instructions Antonio Rudiger: ball-playing defender in defense: dribble more, to instruct him to carry the ball forward and help the build-up David Alaba: ball-playing defender in defense: stay wider: to cover Mendy when he pushes forward Ferland Mendy: wing-back in attack, no instructions Midfield: Aurelien Tchouameni: ball-winning midfielder (deep position) in defense: no instructions, Federico Valverde: mezzala in support: mark tighter, shoot more often: as said in the analysis, Valverde has a great shoot ability and often tries long range shots that hit the target Luka Modric (Toni Kroos): deep-lying playmaker in support: no instructions. Jude Bellingham: in both tactics, his role is an attacking midfielder in attack: roaming from position, because I want him to find spaces where he can create chances in and outside the box, move into channels because I want him to go inside the box and tackle harder because I want him to press the opponents and win the ball back. Vinicius Jr: advanced forward-attack: stay wider because he often runs to the left side and plays from an inside forward position, roam from position to give him freedom to find spaces and tackle harder to instruct him to press and win the ball. Same instructions for Rodrygo but he is a deep-lying forward in support, I want him to link the play more and drop down, so I instructed him to shoot less often and prefer passing. In this tactic I used two forwards with different roles, one more attacking (Vinicius Jr.) and the other more focused to link the play. #footballmanager2024 #fm24tactics #fm24 Hi guys today I emulated Bob Paisley's famous "pass and move" tactic as requested by someone of you. With this tactic, tested with Liverpool in one season without using the transfer windows, I achieved the double Europa League @premierleague , finishing 1st 14 points ahead of Tottenham. To emulated this tactic on #footballmanager2024 we start from a basic 4-4-2 formation with an attacking mentality. In possession, we have a slightly narrow attacking width that is paired with shorter passing. But the tactic is called "passed and move" for a reason: players need to move back and forward and the tempo must be higher. Paisley said that when they played against European teams, he learnt that be able to build from the back is an advantage and having a goal-keeper like Bruce Grobbelaar surely helped him. For this reason, play out of defense is another important instruction and also work the ball into the box. Run at the defense; this instruction will make u get more penalties, so be sure to have some player who is very good at penalty kicks. In transition, Paisley loved to press, so we can choose counter-press instruction, in defense, the pressing line was not excessively high, a mid-block can be a good solution while the defensive line is higher. Since we have 2 strikers, we can force the opponent gk to play long-balls and the pressing will be more often. As we said, the goal-keeper must be good with the ball, a sweeper-keeper on support is the right role. The defense is made of 2 full-backs in support who can overlap according to the different situations, I did not select the overlap instructions in the team instructions, I leave my players decide. The two defenders and the two central midfielders are paired, one defensive defender is paired with a defensive DLP and a more attacking BPD is paired with a more attacking mezzala in attack. This helps to maintain balance and to create a box structure in the middle or if we add to this structure the deep-lying forward, we have a diamond structure where the dlp is the bottom and the dlf is the top. The two wingers are simple wingers in attack but they don't cross from the byline or before, they tend to pass the ball to create chances into the box. Finally, the two strikers are one more attacking, an AF and the other more conservative, a DLF who focuses more on passing the ball and link the play. I hope this tactic works for you too For this video as for all the others, I used NARIGON Skin you can find it on Fm scout or other Fm related site. Hi guys, today I want to introduce you one of the most useful players role combo in#footballmanager2024. Elevate your Football Manager 24 tactics with the powerful IWB-CM link-up! Learn how to utilize this dynamic duo to control the midfield, create scoring opportunities, and dominate your opponents. Even if the roles are slightly different, you can think about the perfect combo Trent Alexander Arnold-Fabinho in #liverpoolfc This link-up can be used with a back four defense of course, so with a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3 tactic. For the 4-2-3-1 tactic, I decided to use only 1 IWB and to use a WB on the opposite flank, while for the 4-3-3 tactic, I used two IWBs with two attacking CM and when the two CMS push forward, the two IWBs will cover the space left behind, creating a 2-3-2-2-1 formation. Pllease try this exciting combo in your tactics too. #footballmanager2024 #fm24tactics #manchesterunited Hi guys! Welcome back to my channel. Today, as requested by someone of you, I emulated Matt Busby's tactic. After the devastating Munich plane crash, Matt Busby faced the daunting task of rebuilding Manchester United, and as he did in his pre-Munich experience, he decided to introduce young players and emphasize youth development, this was the start of the well-known “Busby Babes.” Sir Matt switched to a new 4-2-4 formation (often switching to a 4-3-3) in the season 1967-68, when United won the European Cup (now known as the Champions League). In this, the majority of attacks took place in the form of quick, incisive moves through the wings and bombastic movement in the middle. However, the full-backs would often overlap to add that extra intense pressure to the fray. Charlton, the captain, had the free role of roaming around the final third, Best and John Aston created chances, while Law finished them. Crerand was the “fighter” who helped on the defensive end alongside Nobby Stiles. With this modified 4-3-3 formation (Charlton was the one who moving forward created a 4-2-4), United ousted Eusebio’s Benfica team in the 1968 final, with Bobby Charlton getting two goals. The Red Devils won it for those who succumbed in the tragedy and did it in the “United way” of exciting, attacking football. In Football Manager, there are a few key points to emulate Matt Busby's tactic. Key points: Formation: The starting formation is 4-3-3, but it can transform into a 4-2-4 or 4-2-1-3 when Charlton pushes forward. Playing style: The emphasis is on attacking football with short passing, quick transitions, and width. However, defensive stability is also prioritized. Team instructions: These instructions encourage quick passing, attacking width, counter-pressing, and high pressing lines, reflecting Busby's tactics. Player instructions: Each player's instructions are tailored to their historical role in the team. For example, Charlton is instructed to play as a box-to-box midfielder, pushing forward and shooting more often, while Best is instructed to cut inside, dribble more, and shoot more often as an inside forward. Overall, this strategy aims to replicate the attacking and dynamic style of play associated with Matt Busby's Manchester United. Hi guys, this time I emulated Zaccheroni's 3-4-1-2 he used in the second half of his first season at Milan, with this tactic he managed to win the Serie A 1998-1999. I emulated this tactic and tested it using the same Milan squad of that season (I found the retro database online) and it worked amazingly well, 143 goals scored, 25 goals allowed, Bierhoff 56 goals in Serie A and 66 in the season. I did not buy or sell any player so the squad is the same at the beginning and at the end of the season. I hope this tactic works for you too A hug from your Tikitaka Master DOWNLOAD TACTIC THROUGH SUBU4UNLOCK.IT (NO VIRUSES OR OTHER ISSUES BUT ONLY A STEP FOR FREE SUBSCRIPTION TO THE YOUTUBE CHANNEL FOR ALWAYS FREE DOWNLOAD) https://sub4unlock.io/TSPVI52ByD Skin used: Narigon #footballmanagertikitakamaster #footballmanager2024 #acmilan 0:00 Intro 0:03 Tactical Analysis and Creation 02:49 Stats 05:24 Highlights 10:27 Subscribe

Hi guys this time I decided to emulate Alberto Zaccheroni's tactics, the first one is his historical 3-4-3. He used this tactic at Udinese in the second half of the season 1996-97 and for the whole season 1997-1998. In the season 1998-99, Zaccheroni moved to AC Milan together with Bierhoff and Helveg and tried to replicate the same 3-4-3, but he did not have forwards like Amoroso and Poggi who could play as wingers too. Weah and Ganz were typical advanced forwards, maybe less good at heading than Oliver BIerhoff but still central forwards who could not adapt to play too far from the box, while Leonardo and Boban were two advanced midfielders who also liked to play in central areas. That's why in the second half of season 1998-99, Zaccheroni chose to switch to a 3-4-1-2 with Boban (or Leonardo) playing as an advanced midfielder behind the two strikers Bierhoff and Weah (or Ganz) this change helped AC Milan to win the Italian Serie A scudetto that season, despite Milan was not one of the strongest teams. In this video I will explain his Udinese's tactic and to do so I used a retro database of the season 1998-1999 I found on FM Scout. I could not find online a season 1997-98 database, so to have the same players of that season at Udinese I edited the database file with Football Manager off-line editor bringing back Bierhoff and Helveg from Milan to Udinese and other players too. After restoring the same squad, I started a new save with Udinese, created the tactic as you can see in the video and played a whole season without doing any player transfers. Since the retro database was originally made for FM 23 but it also works on FM 24, the start date of my save is July 2022 and the end date is May 2023. I won Serie A and Italy Cup, while in UEFA Champions League I got kicked out in Quarter Finals by Alex Ferguson's Manchester Utd. I scored 135 goals in Serie A with Bierhoff topscorer with 56 goals, an incredible xg amount per game of 3.7 and my defense was not bad, the 6th best defense in Serie A (50 goals allowed). Besides, using the current Football Manager 2024 database, updated to February 5rd 2024 (I downloaded the last update from sortitoutsi site) I tried a new save with Juventus and I won Serie A with the best attack (97goals) and 2nd best defense (27 goals allowed) and Vlahovic top scorer with 36 goals. This is all for this tactic, I hope this works for you too. If you like my video and you want to stay updated with my contents please smash the like button and subscribe to my channel. #footballmanager2024 #fm24tactics #everton Hi guys, in this video I will show you how I emulated Sean Dyche's Everton tactic, a tactic that allowed me to finish 8th in Premier League and win the FA Cup in the first season played in #footballmanager2024 I created the 3 variants, a 4-4-1-1, a 4-2-3-1 and a more defensive 4-5-1. Before creating the tactic in game, I will analyze briefly Everton stats in the first part of the 2023-2024 season, then create the tactic, explaining in details team instructions and players roles and personal instructions. In the last part of the video I will show stats of my season 2023-2024 in the game and some highlights of the most important matches. With this tactic, despite it being defensive, I scored a total of 78 goals scored, showcasing attacking prowess. Dominic Calvert-Lewin emerged as the top scorer with a staggering 34 goals. Immerse yourself in the highlights of beautiful goals. Experience the thrill of a direct playing style with quick 2-3 pass sequences. Witness precision in crossing and sublime finishes from the forward. #footballmanager2024 #fm24tactics #unaiemery Hi guys, this time I introduce my emulation of Unai Emery's 4-4-2. Unai Emery has transformed Aston Villa from a relegation-threatened club to one of the top sides in the Premier League, currently second only to Manchester City in points. Emery primarily deploys a 4-4-2 formation but has also used a 3-4-2-1 formation effectively. The back four is his go-to shape for the team. In possession, Villa likes to play out from the back, inviting pressure to create space for their forwards. They can exploit this through long balls to Ollie Watkins or short passing, creating possession attacks. Villa's attacking style involves Wingers becoming interiors, strikers operating from wide positions, and ball-side fullbacks overlapping to provide width. They focus on attacking through channels or wide areas, with a trademark of getting multiple bodies into the box. Defensively, Villa adopts a mid-block with a compact shape and disciplined players. They have an unusually high defensive line but don't apply significant pressure on the ball, instead aiming to restrict opponents and force high-risk passes. Villa is effective at catching opponents offside and employs occasional man-to-man pressing. In Football Manager I reproduced this 4-4-2 trying to emulate every single player's movement and instruction, besides I created a more defensive tactic with the two central midfielders deep (just in front of the defense) to help covering spaces left behind by the two full-backs (in this tactic, the right full-back position is made for Matty Cash, who is not an inverted full-back like Konsa, he is a wing-back on support. With this tactic, managing Aston Villa without doing any player transfers (when I started the game, I selected "disable first window transfer activity" and avoided also Jan 2024 session), so at the end of the season 2023-2024, my squad is the same it was in July 2023. I created a second version, more defensive of this tactic with the pressing forward position which is more right, closer to the advanced forward, because this leaves space to the left winger and the left wing-back when they move forward to the box. I won Conference League and FA CUP with this tactic and finished 4th in English Premier League with the best attack (88 goals scored) and Watkins, Zaniolo and Diaby scoring a lot. I hope this tactic works for you too Thanks for watching A hug from your Football Manager Tikitaka Master DOWNLOAD TACTIC THROUGH SUBU4UNLOCK.IT (NO VIRUSES OR OTHER ISSUES BUT ONLY A STEP FOR FREE SUBSCRIPTION TO THE YOUTUBE CHANNEL FOR ALWAYS FREE DOWNLOAD) https://sub4unlock.io/NS14y SKIN USED: NARIGON SKIN
