After the FA and FFP opted to turn a blind eye the chairman has now decided that with the debts gone the club should be able to reach the Premier League in two seasons, all this despite being 6 points from safety on Christmas day. After a positive start at Hillsborough we now have the January transfer window to strengthen the team and two massive games against Huddersfield and Birmingham to come along with a trip to league leaders Leicester. We welcome a number of new faces as well as saying goodbye to a few friends but we exit January a stronger team with renewed energy and hope. So you've got your facepack such as DF11 and you've done your newGAN process to get all your regens faces but you still have people without faces. This is aimed at fixing this with the newest version of the tool which is available here: https://github.com/Maradonna90/NewGAN-Manager/releases/tag/v1.4.0 The tool is the installer at the bottom of the page (Win for Windows, mac for Mac). Towards the bottom are links to the old and new facepacks. I used the new one which is 11GB so grab a cuppa tea. This link has the info for v1.3 of the NewGAN tool but there has been a v1.4 to fix an issue caused in a recent patch. https://fm-base.co.uk/resources/newgan-facepack.1266/ PRIISEK also has a good video explaining the intial steps with the new files for v1.4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHcSKE5YvDw This method won’t be for everyone as it is a little code and a bit of a fiddle with cut and paste, search and find but it’s not overly complicated (even if I can make it sound like it is at times). I have been drafted in as part of the deal with Old Saint Nick to try and make the wishes of the fans and chairman come true. So previously I showed you my method to get the most out of recruitment focuses. Well FM tried to somewhat limit their effectiveness but undeterred I've fought back and found a new Meta (or two) that make it even more effective and increases efficiency at lower levels. I do caveat this a lot in the video that I don't know how effective it is at the upper echelons but for you lower level saves where you have scouting budget it's "chefs kiss". Any issues or experienced you have with this and if you want to ask em any questions please feel free to leave a comments and I'll try get back to you and see if I can help. If you could help me by hitting that subscribe and like button too that would be awesome. One thing to note, sometimes what I say and what I do on screen don't match perfectly. My words are more accurate and stay tuned until the very end for what could prove to be the best method where you ignore geography and just make each scout their own focus. After the massive success of my last video on recruitment focuses: https://youtu.be/jQP-2jD3_g8 I am back to essentially carry on the story and how I take those scouted gems and create a transfer deal which wont break the bank. I also then go into contract negotiations and show a few ideas on how to get players on long term deals which are very useful in Building a Nation saves. This video covers: Asking Agents for details Transfer offers including how to hit the range. Contract negotiation including how to get up to 8 year deals and what clauses can help give you leverage. This is by no means a definitive guide and is mainly aimed at building a nation type saves but these tips can be used across most saves and formats but it's worth also watching other guides to cover things like transfers that expand over 11 years, how to break the dreaded "you will have to add something more to make my client interested" and how to free up the option to remove a release clause by walking away and asking an agent to rethink. It is possible to get players for less than what this video shows by just asking the minimum and seeing what they say but that does open up the risk of them asking the moon thinking you're taking the piss or locking in clauses or just plain leaving. In those cases you can just withdraw offer and then go straight back in (to remove locked clauses etc.) but going into that detail would have made this video probably an hour!!! If people are interested I can make a video with more tips. I am going to cover selling players and loan transfers in my building a nation video coming up soon but for now, I hope this shallow dive into transfers and contracts can help you get your team (and maybe nation) the players you need to hit that next level. So, I was asked in the SecondYellowCard Discord channel about a scouting method I mentioned during one of his live streams. Rather than a million screenshots and typing errors I thought I'd make a video. There a bunch of disclaimers as this won't work for everyone and I am in 2038 in my save with 28 scouts and a ton of money. However, it is scalable and should work if you have enough scouting coverage. Using recruitment focus to start the ball rolling and investigate any promising signs, keep up with them using shortlists and gain data using agents. Hopefully this is useful, I'll add some more tutorial type videos over the next few months too but there are also more experiments coming (I just need the time to record them)! Can Arsenal “win anything with Kids”?

What would happen if you did away with "Leagues" and just put all 92 football league teams into one big division and told them to play each other once in a 91 game season? That's right. The Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two teams are all in one place vying for the same title. No promotion and relegation, not playoffs (which I imagine some FM creators would prefer) and no cups (except for European competitions). Some things stay the same while there's still a number of wacky quirks to discuss. There are a few risers and fallers, shock results and a chance to mud Tottenham. But who was doing the mudding? I previously made a video to see what would happen if you extended the Premier League to 24 teams. This time, I've shrunk it to 16 teams and added a new league between the Premier League and the Championship called the Challenge League. It's a place for the teams too good for the Championship but not quite ready for the Premier League. I've simmed into the 2080s to see what chaos this change in format causes and whether the likes of West Brom and Watford have found their level or pick a side to yo-yo between. The results are surprising as we find Manchester United are no longer PL ever-presents, Chelsea have a fall from grace, some big names end up in Non-League football and South Shields become a Championship Club. You often see content creators put Celtic and Rangers into the Premier League or even teams like PSG and Bayern. I decided to go in a different direction but one that feels geographically sensible. I've taken Porto, Benfica and Sporting CP and put them into La Liga. Will these 3 giant clubs in their own right be able to keep up in a much stronger league? Amazing wonderkid I used in the challenge where we try to go a full season without conceding a goal and winning the Bundesliga while we are at it with Borussia Monchengladbach. A team of Courtois, Hakimi, Laporte, VVD, Dias, Davies, Marquinhos and Rodri defensively, De Jong and Kimmich in Midfield and Gabigol up front. This guy left Marquinhos as a bench player to cover CB and DM when needed. Full video on my page.

Can you do a full season in FM without conceding a single goal? Today we try and go a full season in the Bundesliga with 34 clean sheets using Borussia Monchengladbach or as I'm calling them, Borussia Monchen-solid-at-the-bach. I've put the best defensive players in the world onto one team, made a tactic designed to avoid conceding goals and played through a season to see if it is possible to go a full season without conceding a goal. Oh and I’ve not changed any attributes either.
