Welcome to FMTV! FMTV is a new project aimed at helping people discover FM Content on YouTube. If you're a fan of FM use the links to find content organised in handy categories. If you're a creator you can add your videos to get access to an admin panel allowing you to categorise each video. Creators will need to login and categorise each video after it's uploaded. We're also looking for moderators to volunteer and help organise the app.
Ditch the FM23 match engine and play the game in a whole new way! In this series I'm going to show you how to play as the Director of Football.
Watch this episode to see the conclusion of the January transfer window, two fixtures that will show exactly how good are, and the most unforgettable debut you will ever see in a Birmingham City shirt.
Are we possibly, maybe, actually challenging for the play offs? I fear we may need a new assistant manager to take us to the next level.

It will be a long road back to the top for Birmingham City but I'm making it my mission to take them all the way to the top of European Football.
And I'm doing it the hard way:
* No match tactics
* No team selection
* No training
* No team talks
All of that will be left to my staff, because I am concentrating on my Director of Football duties - scouting, recruitment, data analysis, unearthing bargains and embedding a club DNA.
And to help us move away from the financial precipice the club is currently leaning over, we will be applying the Nine Rules of Moneyball:
1. Promote youth ahead of transfers
2. Only buy players aged 20-25, with decent data sample size
3. Shop outside the usual markets - transfer listed and out of contract players, low reputation leagues
4. Improve defence before attack
5. Always improve the weakest area of the team first
6. Don't buy strikers unless absolutely necessary
7. Sell players at their peak age
8. Always be scouting for replacements
9. Sell any player if a club offers more than they are worth
Can I lay the foundations for Premier League glory?
How far can you take a Championship team - that's nearly four times over it's wage budget - by completely ignoring match tactics, training and team selection? Let's find out...
This will be the biggest challenge the Director of Moneyball has ever faced. Watch the carnage unfold.

A couple of people have asked if I could share the views I'm using for the Director of Moneyball save. As you wish!
Here you'll find the filter I used to find my Assistant Managers, the Player Search view I'm using to ensure new signings match the club DNA, the Squad View that helps me to assess performance, and the Schedule view to show which formation we've lined up with in each match.
Enjoy!
