So previously I showed you my method to get the most out of recruitment focuses. Well FM tried to somewhat limit their effectiveness but undeterred I've fought back and found a new Meta (or two) that make it even more effective and increases efficiency at lower levels. These methods still work in FM26 if you can figure out the equivalent tick boxes and values. I’ll look to put up a new video when I get chance. I do caveat this a lot in the video that I don't know how effective it is at the upper echelons but for you lower level saves where you have scouting budget it's "chefs kiss". Any issues or experienced you have with this and if you want to ask em any questions please feel free to leave a comments and I'll try get back to you and see if I can help. If you could help me by hitting that subscribe and like button too that would be awesome. One thing to note, sometimes what I say and what I do on screen don't match perfectly. My words are more accurate and stay tuned until the very end for what could prove to be the best method where you ignore geography and just make each scout their own focus. So, I was asked in the SecondYellowCard Discord channel about a scouting method I mentioned during one of his live streams. Rather than a million screenshots and typing errors I thought I'd make a video. There a bunch of disclaimers as this won't work for everyone and I am in 2038 in my save with 28 scouts and a ton of money. However, it is scalable and should work if you have enough scouting coverage. Using recruitment focus to start the ball rolling and investigate any promising signs, keep up with them using shortlists and gain data using agents. These ten scouting tips will help you play the Moneyball Way, find first-team ready transfer bargains, and when applied well can power your club to huge profit and sporting success. Wonderkids are overrated. Why waste time, effort and money on them when there are far quicker routes to profit and success in Football Manager 2023? I follow Nine Rules of Moneyball in my FM23 Director of Football save: 1. Promote youth ahead of transfers 2. Only buy players aged 20-25, with decent data sample size 3. Shop outside the usual markets - transfer listed and out of contract players, low reputation leagues 4. Improve defence before attack 5. Always improve the weakest area of the team first 6. Don't buy strikers unless absolutely necessary 7. Sell players at their peak age 8. Always be scouting for replacements 9.
