In FM24 everyone loves to develop their own players to become world stars. There is no better feeling than winning the game knowing that you haven't had to spend millions of pounds to buy success and you have taken one of your own developed players to glory.
One of the most popular questions in the Football Manager series is always about player development. People often wonder if there is a trick to developing players. There are a different number of paths you can take on player development but the two most popular are to develop your players in house using your own youth facilities and coaches but playing a lower level of football or to use the loan system and allow the player to get first team football in a lower division to the one you play in.
In this video I will look at how the same player will turn out when put along the two different paths. In the first version of Omari Kellyman we will keep him at Aston Villa building up his first team football as he goes along. The other version of the player will spend three seasons away from the club but getting first team football stepping up the leagues as we go.
Which of the two players do you think turns out the best?
