Double Intensity vs Normal Training FM24 Experiment

In Football Manager 2024 there are many things that you an do to improve your players including looking at their training schedules. A question that I often get asked is what happens if you expose young players to double intensity training too quickly? Would the intense training help to bring out the best in the player quickly or would it have a negative effect on the player?

In today's video I am going to look at what happens when you train a player the conventional way and compare it to the same player when he is trained with double intensity. This FM24 experiment will look specifically at Bailey Rice who is 16 at the start of the game. The experiment will last for three seasons meaning that the age range I am looking at is 16-19 year olds.

In this experiment I have used the exact same save file and split them at the start of the game, the player has the exact same PA and CA.
