This is something that I have been working on on and off since about FM2006, these are simple mods that change the layout of the Split View, I have currently made three custom views; an enlarged left side panel mod, an enlarged right side panel mod and a mod that makes the split view mode show three panels.

This version of the mod adds a third panel so you now have three panels each taking up a third of the screen instead of two taking up half, each panel still displays the small panel content, however I've had to remove some screens from the middle panel - pitch view and a**. manager feedback as they don't work correctly, in addition the panel headers for the middle panel lose the team names but all the actual stats display fine.

For best results a screen resolution with a width of 1500 pixels or greater is recommended, on smaller screens you may see things being cut off.

Please note that you can only use one of these files at a time.

They should also work with all skins, including the Steam skin, though if the skin has it's own screens/match.xml file you'll need to install the file into that skins folder.

Installation Instructions:

Extract the relevant zip file and copy the screens folder and it's contents to:
Apply to all skins: \My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\
For a certain skin: \My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\<SKIN_NAME>\
or Your User Data folder if you have moved it. If you get a warning about wanting to overwrite an existing file you should back that file up first.

Then load the game go into the Preferences -> Display & Sound menu and turn off the skin cache and tick always reload skin or switch to the skin you want to use.

NOTE: If the skin you want it to display in has it's own match.xml file in its screens folder you'll need to copy the file to that skins folder otherwise it won't work.

Redistribution terms:
