What the fuck is Ashley Young thinking when he goes down like that? He knows that the fans hate it and his manager has openly criticized him for it, yet he still goes down like a fucking pansy at the first point of contact. No idea what the fuck the referee was thinking either.

It's not exactly difficult to hate United players but Young makes it too easy.

He won a peno for it. He'll keep doing it because it keeps working

He is not protecting Young, he is trying not to convey the [accurate] impression that Young has undermined him by continuing to do so. He's probably one of the most consistent managers in the league on this issue, so your point is unfounded.

He should have came out and slated him then, it's as clear as day that it was a dive. There's no need to bang on about anything else because it's irrelevant.
