I'm a bit gutted that Bale scored tbf.

Not because I begrudge him success or anything, he seems likeable enough and is a very good player but because he had an absolute shocker tonight and we're in for endless Bale mania because he was in the right place at the right time to score the winner.

Di Maria was fucking excellent as he has been throughout this season. Probably the only player on the pitch who didn't look scared to touch the ball ffs.

He didn't have a shocker though really. He missed a few chances sure, but he did well to make those chances.

Didn't say he had a great game. I saw people moan about how he celebrated an unnecessary goal, when without him they would've been nowhere near the final. This was Ronaldo's Champions League.
