Fuck me! We were top of the league until the 86th minute today, when Daniel Örlund single-handedly suddenly decided to hand out the three points to Brann instead. We had everything under fucking control but thanks to a poor defence and two mistakes from Örlund Brann turned it around to 2-1 in their favour. Can't believe Örlund was offered a new contract in the summer... instead of sitting 1st one point ahead of Molde we're still 3rd - a point behind Strømsgodset and two behind Molde. And there is still tough games to come. "All" because of that Swedish fuck! /fuming.

Elfsborg have fucked this up big time, need Malmo/AIK to come to the rescue.

Rosenborg concede twice in the last 5 minutes; lose 2-1

Yep- horrific collapse. You's can still do it but if you held on everything would have been much easier.

Hmm, not so sure actually. It's been the tale of this season so far; whenever Molde and Strømsgodset lose and give us a chance to go past them, we fuck up like today.

To think that just a month ago it looked like they would be waltzing home the title.

Häcken winning the title is awful from all angles, it's as if Gretna had won the SPL before they went bankrupt or Chievo winning Serie A. A club with no fans shouldn't win titles, period.

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Sc39ZULoCqo/SPo7HNoE4uI/AAAAAAAAAkQ/5ilMdc_gPG8/s400/bara_getingar.jpg

As that classic picture of the Häcken fan section at Rambergsvallen highlights, hardly anyone outside of friends and family care about them.

Not to mention the fact that Elfsborg, AIK and Malmö are all far better equipped to mount a strong challenge in the CL qualifiers than Häcken will be.

Free entry to the home game tonight against the now semi-famous Anton Hysén's Utsiktens BK.

Hopefully we'll see a big crowd. Should be a lot more people watching us tonight in the third tier than there will be at any Häcken home game* this season, and they are in a title race.

*Excluding travelling away fans, obviously.

Did you go?

Aye.

5400 is even more impressive when you consider the awful weather and that Frölunda were playing at home at the same time, on a sunny day with no competition we could have pushed towards 7000, maybe even more.

One game to go in the Úrvalsdeild if anyone cares. FH have already won the league because god forbid something interesting happened.

I've been following that PA, FH have looked very strong and IBV in the end have even eclipsed KR, disappointed in them. Ever since being hammered by HJK in the CLQ, they've looked shit.

AIK 1-1 Elfsborg tonight;
1. Elfsborg 46 (24)
2. Hacken 45 (23)
3. AIK 44 (24)
4. Malmo 43 (23)

What an intriguing race with 6-7 MD's to go in Sweden, from a neutral pov, as long as it's not Hacken, and preferably AIK, then I will be happy. Elfsborg have fucked it up but they are still somehow in it, and have bought a few others into it as well.

Elfsborg, AIK and Malmö all have the potential in their squads to make it to the CL next year if they get a lucky draw and peak their form at the right time. Can't say the same about Häcken, never mind the fact that it'd be absolutely embarrassing having them and their near-empty stands representing Sweden in the CL should they actually make it there.

In other news there is finally a good atmosphere around ÖIS again, pretty much the first time since Hamrén left us in 2003. Definitely going to try and go to the last two home games and possibly the game in Borås against Norrby.

That loss against Brann still haunts me. Molde nearly bottled it against Stabæk today too.

You just had to? Right... to compensate for this utterly hideous comment I'll post this picture, an illustration from WWII of a burning Molde.

(Finally) a good night for Norwegian football!

Started off with the U21 side qualifying for next year's U21 Euro's in Israel, for the first time in 14 years. Having lost the first leg 1-0 in France, they managed to turn it around tonight and were even leading by 5-1 at one point - before the match ended 5-3 (5-4 on aggr.). Played some really good football out there today, so it's going to be really interesting to follow them in the tournament phase.

Future's looking bright. Over the last week the next generation of U21 players beat Netherlands twice, the U19's are qualified for the next round of the U19 Euro's qualifiers - as are the U17's side with three out of three wins, including one against Portugal.

Norway thrilled after booking finals return

And in the World Cup qualifiers Joshua King secured a fine 3-1 win vs. Cyprus away with his first international goal for Norway.

Cheers, delighted for him. Not sure he'll make it at United, he had a crap time on loan at Gladbach and then his time at Hull was pretty average so it's great to see him taking to international football so quickly.
