After the 2014 World Cup I reckon Baines will be the first choice left back ahead of Cole.

Until then he'll need to wait and be patient.

Dyer scored?! Did he get injured in the process? or during the celebration?

Speaking of 2014, who do we think is gonna be England Captain once Gerrard is gone?

I'd say Rooney is a safe bet.

Happy with the United starting lineup, glad to see Vidic and Kagawa back.

De Gea, Smalling, Evans, Vidic, Buttner, Rafael, Scholes, Cleverley, Kagawa, Welbeck, Chicharito.

Yeah not a bad line up, is Jones injured? cause i wouldn't mind seeing Jones and Smalling play a few games as the CB partnership, also would have been good to see Powell get a start in the center of the park

Would be one of the worst decisions made by an England manager.

Good player? Yes.

Good enough to lead a team? Fuck no.

Seriously you think that would be the worst decision by an England manager? Not the choice to replace Defoe with Heskey when we need goals, or to pick a 16yo Theo Walcott to go to the WC and not play him? Or to have not only picked Joey Barton for the England squad but to actually play him.

Rooney would be a great captain. Your captain needs to give 100% and lead by example, who else in the England team give more than Rooney

Besides he's more committed and does more for the team than Ibrahimovic does for Sweden and he's the Swede's captain

I wonder if West Ham are playing the offside trap because United are playing with pace up top in Welbeck and Chicharito

Beckham's there with his lads, one of 'em's decked out in Man Utd hat and scarf I could've sworn I read that one of them's an Arsenal fan or some shit.

I thought he was from Essex? I dunno, I could be wrong. Not exactly poles apart either way.

I remember reading in "RED" the Gary Neville Autobiography that he refers to a young Beckham (when he first went to the United youth team) as a flash Londoner.

Great movement and finishing by Cleverley, when Gerrard and Lampard are finally dropped from the England team Cleverley and Wiltshere are gonna be amazing

Collins with the equalizer, good header, better cross by Joe Cole.

On a side note is it me or does Joe Cole always look like he's got a really bad cold?
