Does anyone else use Letterboxd.com btw? I've got Abbott on there. It's a website for keeping a diary of films you've seen and you can rate films and see what other people have given it etc. Pretty cool.

Looks cool so I created a profile now.

World War Z.

Shit.

Best bit about that film is the zombies climbing the walls. That looked pretty impressive visually.

I put off watching Apocalypse Now for AGES because I had the ending spoiled for me, but I watched it yesterday. Amazing film, absolutely loved it. Every single scene was so well constructed and poignant. There were scenes I was watching which when they ended I just wanted to see again. Robert Duvall's character is brilliant.

Did you watch the Redux version or the original cut?

Looks interesting.

Original, I plan on watching the Redux though and the Hearts of Darkness documentary.

Olympus has fallen.

Was a decent watch although I thought it was a bit far fetched how easily the White House was taken over.

"A bit far fetched" would be an understatement.

Watched Trance. I know some people don't like how complex it gets towards the end, but I really enjoyed the film. There are a few really interesting ways of looking at it. If you haven't seen it then give it a watch and let me know.

I can see why people who see it for what is told, i.e. that Dawson told him to steal the painting, requires such a ridiculous leap of faith. But there are other explanations, like how there is no Simon. Or that the entire thing is still hypnosis because the iPad at the end is the exact replica of the device she uses to help patients under trance, and that when he goes into the water it is night, yet when he comes up it is awake, married with the bath/pool scene. one even more obscure one is that the entire thing is an exercise for her to overcome her problems and that Simon and Frank are the same person.

I adore mystery films and I thought this was a very good one that treads some interesting ground..It's not perfect, not by a long shot, but it's a very interesting film and I thought it was good.

I just watched Grown Ups 2. I know all you movie snobs are gonna turn your noses up and say it's shit but I really enjoy a film you can just switch off and enjoy with a happy ending and Salma Hayek's boobies.

I have nothing against a subpar comedy once in a while but Grown Ups is a fucking abomination.

Life Of Pi, can see why people prefer 3D, it does look fairly ordinary in 2D.

Yes Man.

Don't know if I was in a bad mood that day, but I remember not laughing at all throughout the movie.
