What are you currently watching?

Due to the lack of internet or television at my new place I've been re-watching Community from the start as it's the only show I have saved on my computer. I've completely fallen in love with it again and have powered through two seasons in a few days. Such a great show.

I watched the first episode of the new series of The Thick Of It as well, which looks just as good as the old stuff.

I've obtained the few couple of episodes of Sons Of Anarchy season 5 and also season 3 of Boardwalk Empire, yet to watch though. Will wait until I have a few more so I can watch them back to back.

Otherwise I should probably get the rest of the episodes out for Black Dynamite and season 3 of Eastbound & Down. The latter which has been confirmed for a 4th season now, which is good.

Ross Kemp Extreme World. His new series came out about 3 weeks ago, most recent episode was about Glasgow and it's problem with homelessness. Quite shocking to see in 2012 to be honest. One guy drinks a disgusting amount of vodka a day, 2.5 to 3 liters. Another guy ripped some of his toes off. Oh, and Home & Away. Love it.

Seen that, ridiculous knowing that 10 minutes down the road there's a group of folk living under the bridge. Really sad.

Is it just me or have there been no good new TV Shows in ages?

The only ones I watched are either finished (Lost, Chuck, Gavin & Stacey, Inbetweeners, That 70s Show, V) or have been around for years (HIMYM, Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, The Office (Which is pretty shit now)).

The only decent newish one I can think of that I watch is Suits.

I re-watched Chuck over the past few weeks. Miss it so bad. I loved the fact you could just chuck it on and half watch it and it was still good but you could also properly watch it and there was a good story to it.

There's still a few that I enjoy, but loads of good ones finished and weren't replaced well enough imo.

Lost, 24, Prison Break, Chuck, Heroes (before it went shit) etc.

Of course there's good TV shows on at the moment/in the last few years.

Community, Its Always Sunny, 30 Rock, New Girl, Girls, Wilfred, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Bored to Death, Louie, Mad Men, Parks and Rec etc etc etc.

Some of those have been around for a bit longer than the rest but all in the last 5 years or so.

Community?

I started watching that sometime earlier this year, got up to about half way through season 2 I think but kind of got bored of it.

Wasn't really much of a story to it and didn't really like the stupid in-your-face type humor.

Yeah I think that's the problem. There's some good shows still on, but shows like Lost, Chuck etc are my favorite shows ever and there's not much that meet those standards.

Things like New Girl, Episodes and so on are decent but comparing them to Lost, Chuck, That 70s Show, Friends, Prison Break, THE OC, Scrubs, Inbetweeners, Gavin and Stacey etc they don't even come close.

The only show I would really be bothered about right now if it was cancelled would probably be The Big Bang Theory.

Might download a load of this years pilots and see if there's anything decent.
