The worst is when your in hospital and they pull the needle thing out that goes into your wrist vein that supplies antibiotics. Was under when they put it in but when they took it out it just went on and on and on.

Aye thats the one I meant. They can put them in your hand/wrist/inside of your elbow. Basically any easily accessible vein.

I'll admit I hate having the IV needle in my hand/wrist as that is always quite painful, but fainting from a bloodtest?

I remember when we were all going to have our TB innoculations at school and they had crash mats for anyone who passed out, Everyone was making out the needle was about six inches long to scare each other, in the end it was fuck all.

Never had my TB jab.

Was ill on the day, then no-one told me about the jab day for those who missed it. I got to punch everyone in the arm and get no return TB jab pain. Mwahahahahaha.

IV's are no bother. The issue is dragging the drip into the feckin' toilet every 10 mins.

I had plenty of vaccinations before I went to Kenya, which were fine, but had never had blood taken before. I remember thinking "I wonder if I'll faint? I've never fainted before..." right before I blacked out.

Had a blood test at the hospital this morning and completely blacked out as the nurse was taking blood from my arm. Was the weirdest feeling. I came to around 3-4 minutes later covered in sweat and with no recollection where I was or what had happened.

Shut the fuck up. I have pleurisy and have had it for the last three weeks. That hasn't stopped me from making boss moves every few days.

The amount of pain I'm in when not on them means it's necessary. I just got another 60 codeine and then I'm going to get some bad stuff later. Then I'm going to go to Shoreditch on Friday, stay up all night and go to Clapham on Saturday morning and drink all day. Then rest on Sunday. Fingers crossed I'll be well by then. Not stopping smoking hasn't helped.

Yeah if you're in serious pain you can't stop taking them, been in that situation with Endone, have you asked your doctor for that? I mean not that I know, but a girl I was friends with use to crush it up and snort it and apparently if you do that it would take the pain away from quite literally everything.

I can show you a photo of me after snorting codeine:

Looks like the misses is going to be made manager of her shop within the next couple of months, She's only been there since the start of December as well. Clearly she is better at retail than me, I've been in the same job for five years and have never had a sniff of promotion.

Being a bossy cow must also help when becoming a manager.

Shit man that's harsh.

Only advice I can give you having suffered from depression myself is just be there for him to talk to when he needs. It's amazing how much better you feel when you've got someone you can speak to and trust. Don't be upset or angry if he doesn't choose to come to you though, just try have an open mind and just be there for him.

Thanks a lot, just wish I'd known about it, amazing how you can live in the same house as someone and not even know about it
