Won 1-0, pretty rubbish performance, Bognor played well, credit to them. Wasn't there but watched it all on Periscope.

Bah. Get back into it then gift them a killer goal. Well played, defence. Well played.

Not assisted by playing 12 men yet again (watch their first goal - if he isn't committing a foul by climbing, I'm a Dutchman), including a comedy decision right at the end when their defender clattered their own keeper. Ball drops to our lad with an open goal... and they get a free-kick. For clattering their own man. Utterly ludicrous.

Guiseley away for us tonight, re-arranged game from our postponed Boxing Day match.

All but sold out our allocation, so 1000 Mariners roaring the team to 3 more points hopefully!

Well that's a bit closer for you than Bognor, if not as glamorous

We're away at Oldham. Don't imagine this game will be a thriller, we're both languishing in the relegation places. A win would see us sneak out, but Oldham have 2 games in hand on us!

2-2. Shit result, had plenty of chances to win but ultimately another 2 points dropped and exactly the reason we're not challenging the top spot.

Apparently Kelvin Etuhu was sat in the stands for our 3-0 humiliation at Dale and openly stated that he thinks 7 of our starting XI aren't good enough, our players don't like defending and he thinks Flicker's decision re: players positions are fekkin shite

2nd leg of the FA Trophy semi final for us tomorrow, Bognor at home.

We have a 1-0 lead from last weekend, so not expecting any issues at all given they play two levels below us. Halifax well ahead in their semi-final too against Nantwich so should be Mariners v Shaymen final at Wembley on 22nd May.

Can see you struggling against Halifax in the final, but I am sure the trip to Wembley will still be great! I think it's going to be a loooong time before we travel there again

Hopeful for our match away at Crewe tomorrow, we'll let them have the possession but hopefully hit fast and hard when we have the ball like we did when they visited us earlier in the season. Can see both of us playing in League 2 next season regardless of the result however.

Halifax are bottom half of our league, whilst we're 3rd so I'd be quietly confident in the final against them. We beat them 7-0 at home earlier in the season, although we did put in our worst performance of the season at their place a few weeks ago, lost 4-2. I'm honestly a little bored with Wembley, we seem to get there so often and it's a pretty rubbish place to play when it's only half full at best. Could be twice in a week this year if we make the playoff final a week before too.

I just think they'd be more up for it than yourselves...especially if you made the play-offs and were looking to get that promotion. Always thought it was a shame when our LDV finals were at the Millenium Stadium whilst Wembley was being redone. Would you rather the FA trophy final "toured" some of the big grounds in England instead of Wembley or do you think it would devalue the competition more?

The Trophy final this year is a week after the playoff final, so would either be a party atmosphere (if we won the playoffs) or a damp squib. They're actually making the FA Trophy final and FA Vase final on the same day at Wembley this year, making it a non-league day, so a ticket gets you entry to both games. No idea who is left in the Vase mind.

To be honest, not many of the fans care about the FA Trophy at all, it's too much of a distraction and plays havoc with the league fixtures. Why is the semi final is two legged for example? one game would suffice. And replays take precedence over league fixtures, so multiple times we've had to have a replay and that has postponed the next league game.

For all the smaller teams, like Bognor for example, Wembley is the big draw of the competition. Even Halifax, who I don't think have played there before, so it would probably devalue it for those teams. But for us, trying to get back into League 2, the priority is the league so where the Trophy final gets played is really here nor there.

Well, we didn't make it easy for ourselves but we managed to secure an away win at Crewe. When Redshaw scored after the half hour mark I thought things would go well for us, though he got booked for celebrating and then five minutes later made me really worry when he got another yellow and sent off Held on until the 83rd minute when they equalised, and then we scored again in the 84th!

Sees us sneak outside the relegation places, one point above Doncaster and Oldham, both have games in hand however!

So we've hammered Leeds in their own backyard. After missing a penalty (fun fact: we're the only side in the Championship not to have scored a penalty this season) and letting them go a goal in front.

Then we just decided that enough was enough and turned it on. Could have been double figures.

Now just to get the 6 points that'll secure Championship football for certain. Next 3 (Sheffield Wednesday, Boro, Hull) are all very tough so anything would be a bonus, but after today we just need to have the belief. We can beat anyone in the division if we're on it, no matter how they play. We need to be more clinical, it's true, but if we stop up don't bet against us being surprise promotion contenders next season. There's something special, something I've never seen before about this Town team. A few more players in key positions and we've every chance of being a real surprise package. For now, a bit more belief against the big guns would get us points. Second half last week we were the better side and had we scored we'd have stood a chance, but we'd stood off Burnley and deserved to be 3-1 down at half-time because we showed too much respect. Today we didn't show respect against a side like ourselves and we took them to pieces.

11,000 season tickets sold in just 4 days. £179 offer extended to the first 15,000 who buy. I suspect if we made it open-ended we could sell more than the centenary season (16,500). Of course, quite a few will only turn up half a dozen times, but it's going to be much better seeing us in front of crowds of 15,000+ every week rather than 11,000. Our crowds have dropped off since getting back up (15,500 average in the first season, 12,000 now), probably as a result of not very exciting football and people feeling the financial pinch. Crowds have dropped elsewhere too - Preston are having a great season and would probably be getting 15,000 at a different time, but as it is they're getting 10,000 or so. Away followings are down across the board. Sensible pricing will bring people back to football. I hope other clubs follow suit and get full houses, because that's how football should be - entertainment for the masses.

And full credit Bradford for keeping their prices cheap for so long. And managing to get up a division and be competitive at the right end of the division above at the same time. They've led the way, ridden a feel-good factor and might add a bit more Yorkshire spice to the Championship next time. A sell-out Valley Parade won't be somewhere teams will want to go if they're on the crest of a wave.

Home to Bury today. Actually quite hopeful of a win, again. Bury haven't been good away from home and they're missing a few key players. Redshaw is probably our biggest miss after his stupid sending off but we've brought in another striker on loan and I think Cullen still has more to offer. Still, I'd be more hopeful if we were playing the Bury down here!

Shame on you for not winning the El Irrelevantico here. We're fekkin shite and our manager hates the fans, fans hate the manager, players hate the manager, fans hate the players and all that.

Fekkin tragic game, between two tragic sides and nobody honestly gave a single fekk.

This takes us to 50 points though and we should be safe for next season in League One with Flickers and all his mates for some scraps x

You should try being a Blackpool fan if you think you have it bad All that applies plus more! Our fans even get it from the board too, sued and abuse!

I think we're now two points above the relegation zone, with all the teams below us having at least one game in hand. We visit Doncaster on Easter Monday, which happens to be one of those teams below us. Hopeful we might steal a win there, we used to have some good games at the Keepmoat.

Doncaster are in some retched form at the moment, iirc it's zero or one win in the last ten or something like that so you should be confident in picking up maximum points. Now that I've posted this, I expect Doncaster to win quite easily and you to want me banned from Susie permanently.

Ooooh you were almost more hated than the Oystons for that jinx! Luckily, we managed to snatch a win in the 87th minute thanks to a deflected shot from a striker that hasn't scored this calendar year! Sums up the match pretty much. Doncaster played better football overall, especially second half, but particularly early on in the game they failed to deal with our long balls forward and our forwards should have had a brace. It's pretty much the only way we can play at home on our ploughed field of a pitch, so it was a shame to see us plop Norris and McAllister in midfield as brick walls and just hit the ball over them. Ah well, a win is a win and Doncaster fans may well look back on this game as the game they effectively got relegated on. Don't see Crewe surviving now either. Not that we'll survive, Fleetwood and Oldham both sit a point below us but each have 2 games in hand still!

Thanks to the BBC for having this as their live game, but did you have to pay Phil Brown for a what was effectively a scouting trip for him! His Southend team visit our quagmire on Saturday!

One last note, well done to AFC Fylde for their 4-0 thumping of Stockport away - a team that continue to bemuse me in their inability to get promoted. Fylde look destined for the play offs and I hope they get promotion to the Conference Premier for the opening of their new stadium - which is being built only a 10 minute car journey from my mam's house!

They've led games just twice this calendar year. Neither resulted in wins. Seven defeats on the spin. 11 defeats in their last 14. No wins. League Two-bound.

Hope so too. Dave Challinor managing there. Was a great player for us 10 years ago and was very well known for his long throws down here, so pleased if it does finally work out for him. Also got Richie Baker, who's been with us for a while and played L2 football at our place

We beat Grimsby yesterday 2-1. Reece Styche is the man. Two wins out of two over Easter, just a shame it means f*ck all now as we will end up in mid-table.
