YNWA - A final career

I am going to Sweden Just the type of project I am feeling atm. It's worth noting the request to develop players from the club was mine in both instances. It is something I have taken a huge interest in this save stemming from my time at Liverpool when I put shit loads of money back into the club and upgrading facilities till they couldn't be upgraded anymore.

Those clever swede's, they put in a clause 70 percent of compensation for managerial role. Can only assume it is because of my history at the larger clubs and they don't think it will be long before I am poached.

Big season ahead

So I have no idea on the history of this club and I think Frank would be the only one here who does so here it is:



Happy with those training facilities for this level, and I will obviously look to increase the youth facilities any way I can.

That is the entire squad, our reserves are full of greyed out players and the youth team has one player who is just not good enough.
Very light in the defence.


One of our most experienced and better players, has top flight experience and will most likely lead my defence or what there is of a defence lol.


Bucket loads of potential but only a loanee.


Another one with bucket loads of potential and he's ours. Great physical attributes.


Another experienced head, aggression is a little high but will be the leader of my midfield.


Will use him on the flanks, has a pretty good cross and is pretty quick.

That is about it as you can see I am low on defenders and short one class striker.

I have decided to stick to a 4-4-2, nothing fancy, no outrageous instructions at least until I can learn the team, the league and bring in a few faces.

Decent enough start to life in Sweden. I have offers for 3 players on the table who will strengthen the side remarkably.

First signing and will take up one of the "foreigner" slots. Quite large wages but only have him for one season and he strengthens my weak back line somewhat considerably.



Signing number 2 and another center back.



Final signing at least for now, takes up the 2nd "foreigner" spot and improves my weak strike force.

An unspectacular month with the only bright spark being Sorrentino and Addae scoring on debut. I am still tinkering but the signs are good so far, I will probably look to add one defensive mid to the squad to break up the midfield a little better but I am pretty happy. We are also 9 games unbeaten (including the previous regime).

The league table :


A very tight table. We are in with a shout of pushing for promotion but if I am honest I would love one more season here in the second tier to consolidate and build the team for a strong push in the top flight.

2nd month in charge here in Sweden and another solid month. Our first loss in 10 games but still managed to pick up 5 points and sit pretty comfortably in mid table which is where the board expect us to be.

Never seen this before. An extra gross 11k in for spending 5.5k, I see the benefit here.






A poor month, still managed to pick up 5 points but the 2 losses now have us precariously placed, 7 points from relegation playoff spot and 8 from the promotion playoff spot. 10 games to go, would be happy with about 15 points and that should see us safe.

Mixed start in Sweden but its not long till the end of the season now which is surely where you will begin to build for next season

Some transfer activity, midfielder Joakim Karlsson heads out to Amkar of Russia for £15.25k and in comes this guy as a like for like replacement with one added bonus he is also a coach



He has premier league experience with Southampton as well as stints at Groningen and Furth.

Thanks Itchy, I did have my heart set on central/south America but I have had many many saves there and none that I can remember in Sweden so once the temptation was there the choice was pretty easy.

I actually had to google if you meant the cardigans the band or the clothing lol.

Anyways month number 4 in Sweden:





We started off the month poorly and to be quite frank we can't afford to lose to teams directly around us. Barrow scores a hattrick and opens the scoring in the next game I thought we might have found some momentum to finish the season off with but as usual that trend of conceding right after half time bites us on the behind and we can only manage a draw. 3 points from the month and now only 6 points out of the relegation playoff spot has me more then a little worried. There is 6 games left in the season 4 in September and 2 in October. Need a big finish here.

The pick of the litter from this years regens.

Our best month yet as we picked up 9 points from 12 possible including huge wins over two top 4 sides (Angelholm were 4th before they lost to me)
The blemish being Syrianska we just couldn't break down their 5 man midfield. 8 points ahead of the relegation spot with 2 to play and we are safe. A few players come off contract and are rather large earners, Barrow was playing himself into a new contract, he wanted 1200 to start with I went to 975 he went to 1100 I went to 1000 and his agent is now refusing to talk to me. Greedy git ah well 900 off the wage budget with him gone.

A good month to finish off despite only the two fixtures we took 4 points and secured a 6th place finish. About 6 or so players are coming off contract so that gives me a chance to mold the team more to my liking. Here's to hoping I can find what I am looking for on the free market.

Resigned Barrow for 1000 per week, he showed some good form toward the end of the season and thought he deserved it.

Looking pretty there, plenty of money to work with in the wage budget time to get cracking on turning this squad into title contenders

Old ass man left and I scored 10k because of it. In comes this guy on £75 per week ohhh yeah talk about keeping the wages down.
Good motivator and determined, happy with him for the time being.

Looks like I made the right choice keeping him.

FM at it's finest, strong yet weak in the same position. Well done dickheads lol

Thanks a lot mate. I was having some trouble early on too, I tend to stick to the same base formation and change the odd role here and there maybe move a DM to CM or a CM to AMC things like that but I finally decided to try something different with the narrow formation and it worked a treat

Anyways some big news on the transfer front and a surprising friendly win are coming up

Starting with the outs, huge profit on the sale of the 16 year old CB from my academy. Also added the percentage of profit from next sale clause. Excited to see what he does at the much bigger club in Helsingborg and hopefully he gets picked up for a rather large amount somewhere down the track.

Carlsson was my 3rd choice goalkeeper and whilst young was just not going to get a game for me so nice to see a profit on him too, also have the profit clause on him.

Ahmed Awad was a 30 year old Palestinian, whilst having a good season for me his age and international status meant he could leave.

Johansson was probably the one I mulled over the most, looked like he could have developed really well so I made sure to stick the profit clause on him too.

Finally Siwe, almost had second thoughts about selling him because he is Swedish and you need to have 9 players in the match squad trained in Sweden but I am very strong in the midfield and he probably would not have added to the 6 games he played last season.

I will show you individually a few of the great players coming in then give the overview of all the ins.

First up:


He is strong, can go the distance, has a great long shot, excellent technique and works for the team. Only worry is his aggression, hoping he doesn't get sent off to much but a young ENglish talent in the second tier of Sweden and a damn good one at that.



Only 17 years old, so if I hold onto him will eventually count as trained in Sweden so there is a plus. I like his determination, work rate, technique and passing stats but he also has amazeballs physical stats. If he improves his strength he could very well be retrained to DM for me.



Immensely talented German with great technique, crossing and corner attributes. Will be very dangerous on the right.



Great reflexes and pretty good command and communication attributes which is what I look at with goalkeepers first and foremost.



An old head but still has all the attributes to destroy this league and covers both flanks and doubles as a scout.



An outstanding capture for this team, despite his attributes sinking quickly he has the big game experience and still some key stats to make a huge impression on this league. Doubles as my 19's manager.



Another outstanding capture for this small club and could quite possibly be my best player.



Only 14k spent on transfers but some of those players are on quite high wages. Most of the old guard only have contracts until the end of November this year but have 15 game extension clauses so if we do really well I will keep most of the squad for next season if we don't off they go and I rebuild again.

Busy window, hopefully it clicks for you man!

Near flawless performances in the friendlies, just the one draw there and defence still leaky at times but overall ecstatic with the way we played.



Unfortunately the narrow loss to AIK (who are a division one side and finished 2nd last season) meant we didn't qualify but the performances were unreal, we had our chances to equalise and maybe even steal the win but still thrilled we pushed a Div 1 title contending team all the way to the end.
