Thanks guys! There are some decent players, I'll do some introduction later, but I definitely need Iheanacho. Hopefully I can get a good enough transfer budget next year. Now all is a bout climbing in the league.
I tried to get the Guingamp font smaller, as small as I felt after the game...

After we finally could find some good form we ended up finishing 8:th in the league. Rather decent I guess. This campain saw some sträng results including the away leg in the Europa League against Real Madrid: the first leg ended 3-3 (after they scored two goals in the last minutes), in Madrid the game was even until the 67:th minute, with them leading 1-0. Then we score an own goal, a minute later we had a man sent off, 20 minutes later it's 7-0.
In the league we won against Riviera rivals Montpellier 8-1...
Looks like we don't really need Iheanacho after all... Well I don't think we got enough money anyway.
Here are some of the better players in the squad. There will probably not be any major changes during the summer. Mancini really destroyed this club.
Top scorer in the league. A good striker, so to speak.
The Castilla product was neglected by Mancini The Imbecill and wanted to leave when I arrived. He has been a starter for me every game.
French/Brazilian who sets up a lot of goals from the wing.
A perfect full back.
Mr Marseille.

We finished the season well, and that is something to build on. Hoping for a top 4 position the coming season.
Steve and the others are going to face some competition for their starting spots, as you can see in the next post.
Indeed. And they don't seem to get any weaker this year. The thing is: I can beat them from time to time, but I can be beaten by Bastia or Lens or whoever. Monaco and PSG just doesn't lose...
Do I like France? Well, peut-être... I do like how the team is coming about though!
Thanks to all of you for following!

A good warm up to the 2023-24 season, a bit of a let down against Lommel, but instead a really good performance against Arsenal. The first thing that happened in the Arsenal game was that new signing Alex Dell scored his first goal in the Marseille shirt - for his old club Arsenal. An own goal after six minutes...
The new faces
Four new players join OM this summer. I am really happy with them all! All of them for free witch of course is a bonus. I am trying to ship out quite a few players, but there isn't much interest in them. I am slowly improving the club's finances anyway.
This German, come Turkish goalie will take Stevie M's position sooner rather than later. They will probably rotate some during this season. I did the same thing in NAC Breda when Jelle van Rouwelaar faded out.
The Arsenal lad I was talking about earlier. I will throw him right into the starting eleven.
This guy I signed from Atlético and is incredably versatile. His prefered position is central defender, but I will mainly use him as right back or right winger. He is a not a bad CM or DM either...
My scouts went nuts over this South Korean giant. And he could definately be something. He will be loaned out for the season.

Mostly good results Avicii in goal started really good. We won fair and square against Monaco just to be crushed by PSG in the next game. Lately, however, we have started to drop leads often with stats looking like this:
Lots of them draws looked exactly the same, even the big cup loss against Monaco.
We're up there even though a couple of teams could pass us as they have games in hand. Still, I think we could fight for that 3rd position (Monaco and PSG will destroy us all in the end, I guess).

In other news (in the real world), I have just learned that Keleshi Iheanacho joined Man CIty, so I guess I will have to try to get him on loan on FM15.
I'm pretty pleased with my own scouting in this game!
