Good reading this. I hope you can take another step closer to CL every year.
Good money for that youngster!

The second season is over and we won the treble!
We managed to win the league, Welsh Premier League Cup and also the Welsh Cup. We were expected to win all three but it's nice to get some more silverware to my and the clubs name. Despite winning all of the Welsh trophies, I still don't feel like the performances this season were good enough. We only lost three matches in the league and didn't let in many goals but for a side like us to draw 11 matches is just not good enough.
Maybe it was my fault for making too many changes last Summer, I just don't know. The Kluk and other players I brought from the English leagues didn't impress as much as I'd of liked and I'll take that into consideration this Summer. I may look and bringing in Welsh players however, that may not help us improve in the Champions League which consequently is my main aim at the club.
On the topic of transfers,Joslain Mayebi joined us on a free transfer from Wrexham and become my starting goalkeeper. He will be my number one for years to come and has good experience in the English leagues with Wrexham and in fact managed 15 clean sheets last season. He managed 6 clean sheets in 9 matches for us. Exodus Geohaghan also joined us after his release English side AFC Halifax and worked wonders with his long throws for us. I tried to sign top goalscorer Matt Lecointe on a permanent deal however he agreed a new deal with his parent side Plymouth. Would love to bring him back on loan they next season if possible though.
I now need to decide whether to renew a whole host of contracts and I may even create two new tactics for next season, we'll see. As usual, any screenshot requests are welcome.

If possible, I will want the players to take a wage cut if they are to stay.

Yeah I was thinking that about Tippy and Wilde and they will both be leaving. The thing is with Turner, it's a rule in the WPL that a match day squad needs two under 19 players, he fills this spot.

Couldn't resist signing The Kluk really could I?

Trying to get him back on loan for next season, fingers crossed.

Arghhhhh! As a country we dropped massively again. When I took over the club two seasons ago, the WPL was ranked 98th in the World; it is now 111th. As the rest of the Welsh sides are useless, it's really all up to me to lift the reputation of the country. Unfortunately we now start in the First Qualifying Round in comparison to last season where we started in the Second Qualifying Round.

There's only one Welsh league to be loaded on FM and Rhyl didn't get promoted so won't be on my save this season unfortunately.

Transfer news coming up next.

I've made quite a few changes this pre season, something that I said I wouldn't do but I had a change of heart. I've released a lot of ageing players and decided to bring in some youth with a lot of potential and I'm very excited about my new recruits.
Starting with the outgoings, Fowler, Westlake, Roberts, Rooney and Wilde were all good players for me but weren't in my plans for the new season. Tipton didn't get much of a chance last season and was unlucky with injuries but had to leave. The players who went out on loan were all kids from the youth side, none of them any good.
Now for the imcomings and like I said there are some players here that I'm really excited about.
Lee Mansell joins us on a free transfer after rejecting a new deal at English League Two side Torquay United. At 32 he brings vast experience to our relatively young side and apart from playing right back, can also play in midfield. Oliver Muldoon is a young centre midfielder who I have brought in from Charlton Athletic. He is yet to make a competitive appearance but I'm hoping he can good for us in the next few seasons. Ben Maund is a centre forward who joins the club from English side Coventry and had a successful loan spell at Braintree last season, bagging 15 goals along the way.
Peter Murphy is a versatile player who can play at left wing back and also a bit of a set piece demon. At 34 years old he brings some good experience to the side and he should do really well for us. Murphy is pretty much an identical player to Clint Easton who retired at the end of the season and is now my assistant. Levander Pyke is a young right wing back who will be back up for this season but I will try to give him a few games now and again. Jack Willbye is a centre midfielder who has yet to make a competitive appearance. It's a risky move replacing the old heads such as Fowler, Westlake and Roberts with the likes of Willbye and Muldoon but I'm hoping this risk will pay off.
Anthony Straker joins as back up left back to new signing Peter Murphy. Straker can also play left wing so he can play their too if we get injuries. Shaun Jeffers will be my new star striker and he's a player that I'm really excited about. I'm going to predict that he's going to bag 25 goals this season so watch this space. Adrian Cieslewicz, like real life, has joined the club and I'm hoping his pace can run riot in this league. My final signing is David Viana who joins the club from Luton Town. He's a really good technical player and I'm hoping he will do well behind the striker for us.
Oh yeah, last season's top goalscorer Matt Lecointe has signed an extension on his loan deal until the end of the season. HAPPY DAAAAAYS!

They need to get their shit together. Great save btw

Now we're all just hoping (along with yersel) that you get a decent draw in Europe this season so you've at least a chance of progression.

I hope so man, I think I may have got the right amount of experience and youth to be successive again this season. A few of the older players who I released; Gary Roberts and Lee Fowler have joined clubs in the Welsh League so I hope this decision won't come back to haunt me.
Fola
Haha, they really do man. Are they any good in real life? I know quite a lot of the players in the WPL but I must admit, I don't really know much about the league (apart from FM anyway).
Fola
Fingers crossed. As the reputation of the WPL dropped, we now have to play an extra qualifying match compared to previous seasons. Hopefully we can win our first qualifying match and then praying the second round will be kinder to us than in previous seasons. If we progress through the second round and lose the third, we get a chance in the Europa League which is something I would like.
Fola
Yeah man, it's been a while. Signed up to few other FM fan sites but decided to give this one a bash again for the time being.

A third of the season gone and in the league, at this stage, this is our highest points total so far. We have done really well at the start of this season and my new signings seem to have gelled very quickly into the squad. As you can see, Bala are giving me a real run for my money so it could be tougher this season for us. However, I'm hoping they'll trail off as the games continue.
The cup competitions however haven't gone as well for us. We got so close in the Champions League, much closer than the previous two years. We easily knocked out Saint Julia, some Andorran rejects in the first qualifying round. We were then given an extremely hard draw against Croatian giants Dinamo. We were very unlucky and would of only lost the first leg 2-1 if it wasn't for a third away goal for the visitors in the 94th minute. We then managed to get ahead in the away leg thanks to Lecointe and The Kluk however as we pushed for the goal to draw us level on aggregate, Dinamo grabbed two quick goals to knock us out. I'm hoping next season, if we get there, we can go one step further.
The date is now the 5th November 2015 and we haven't lost in the league since the 17th January 2015, a run spanning 23 games and counting. The treble is no longer on which is a shame as we lost to Bangor in extra time in the WPL Cup. I also got an extension on my deal, meaning I am contracted to the club for another 5 seasons. Doubled my wages too.

You're doing very well in the league but I suppose that's to be expected with the talent that you have at your disposal. I'd love to see you go the league season unbeaten but it'll be tough.

Two thirds of the season gone and we are on course for our highest ever points total. We currently have 58 points with 10 games remaining, in our first season overall we got 63 points and last season 65 points. The date is now 31st January 2015 and we haven't lost a match in the league since 17th January 2014, a run spanning 34 matches and counting.
I'm hoping we can go the full season unbeaten as it's something I've never done before. Unfortunately we were knocked out of both of the cups but to be honest, I wasn't too bothered it gave us time to concentrate on the league. The transfer window is open and for the first time during my tenure, I didn't make any moves for players. I didn't feel we needed to especially with the players that we've got performing so well. I did try again to make Matt Lecointe's move permanent but he signed another contract extension with Plymouth.
Nathan Thompson, the youngster who we sold last year to Hibernian for 100k has moved to Nottingham Forest for 300k one year on. On the basis of things maybe I shouldn't of let him go so easily as he looks like he could be a star. We did get £40k due to the transfer but I have a feeling in the future it could of been so much more.
However, back to the positives. The club have extended my scouting range to all of Europe, moving up from only UK and Ireland. I have sent my scouts abroad to see if they can find me the best youngsters form across Europe, all in all very exciting times for this football club.
