My assistant feels Ben Amor has the potential to be a world class player.

Read the first post ffs.
They've got a good 7-8 years to improve and reach that potential. Both have great personalities as well, so I expect to see some major improvements over the next year or so.

That losing streak on the end was incredibly frustrating as I definitely felt we were the better team in all of those matches. It really exposed a need to improve our defence.
Final league table:
I managed to stay up in spite of conceding 74 goals, which is an accomplishment in itself.

Really impressed with both Tariq's play and his progress.
The best player in my squad this season wasn't any of those though:
Valdivia had the third highest average rating in the entire league and got selected in the team of the year. I'll try my best to sell him in the summer as ideally I want to have Gustafson and Cyprien starting in the midfield, with Valdivia playing so well one of them has to take the bench-warming role I want Fofana to fill.

He wasn't interested in joining at that point.

Some really nice development from my January signings, playing at a higher level have definitely helped them.

My best defender this season. He's old, regressing and not a particularly great tutor though, so I'll definitely look to sell him.

These are my current staff:
As you can see I am using a custom view that shows the coaches preferred formation, their coaching style, playing mentality and playing style, I'll get to why in a minute.
This is the current coaching set-up:
Not terrible, but everything aside from the goalkeeper coaching could use an upgrade. However, the first change in my staff will be the director of football.
This is my current director:
Former Lens player Jocelyn Blanchard, who also had a brief spell at Juventus in his playing career.
As I am a hands-on manager, the director of football has no active influence on my club, I do all of my transfers and contract negotiations myself, but like all staff the director of football has a passive influence, his scouting knowledge adds to that of the club and when each crop of newgens comes into the club there is a chance that his personality and tactical preferences will influence them. In both of these aspects, Blanchard is entirely replaceable. I already have full scouting knowledge of Austria through an Austrian feeder club and of Italy through an Italian scout, his preferred formation and playing style fits up with mine but his pressing style and playing mentality does not, he also has a resolute personality, which is good, but I have no reason to believe that I couldn't find someone else with a better personality.
The second, and perhaps most important change, is my head of youth development.
Responsible for bringing in youth players to the club, the head of youth development plays a vital role at any club that wishes to develop talents from the academy. While he has no influence on the CA and PA of your newgens, the head of youth development will favour players with a personality similar to his own and attributes that match his tactical preferences. The head of youth development will also act as an extra youth coach on the training ground.
Given the role personality has for player development, I think it goes without saying that a great head of youth development makes a massive difference.
Unfortunately, Pascal Plancque is pretty bad. His tactical attributes are mostly the direct opposite of mine, and he has the useless balanced personality. An upgrade here is much needed.

Former Kaiserslautern, Bayern and Inter player Andreas Brehme. He has a professional personality and his tactical attributes match mine, aside from his preferred formation. He also gives me much needed scouting knowledge of Germany.
The knowledge of Germany that Brehme provided helped me find my new Head of Youth Development:
Former Mainz manager Thomas Tuchel. A great coach with tactical attributes that largely correspond with mine, he also has the resolute personality. I am absolutely delighted that a staff member as good and as reputable as him wanted to join my club.
Will be interesting to see if I get any German players coming through my youth team as a result of these two acquisitions.

"Potential to be a leading Ligue 1 attacking midfielder"
"Potential to be a star Ligue 1 striker"
"Potential to be a leading Ligue 1 defensive midfielder"
"Potential to be a good Ligue 1 striker"
"Potential to be a good Ligue 1 central defender"
No worded potential rating on this lad, but I'd imagine he could turn into a good Ligue 1 keeper.

"Potential to be a good Ligue 1 left-back"

Henry will probably be a part of my first team before the season is over, and given his high natural fitness and model professional personality he might stay there for 20 years.

Brilliant to see Henry broken the record \o/

Chose them over Kano Pillars from Nigeria. Hopefully I made the right choice.

Big target man with a professional personality that makes him useful as a tutor. Target men seem to be over-powered in this version of FM, after many years of being useless.
Arguably the best young goalkeeper in France. Picking him up for €1.3M is pure theft.
A fairly good prospect on the wing, I'm retraining him to play on the right as I don't really think he'll ever get the attributes to work as an inside forward.
Tall and strong defender with a resolute personality brought in from recently relegated Torino, good tutor who will add some much needed stability to our defence.
The combination of size, speed and ball-skills makes this young defender into a very well-rounded prospect. Definitely the greatest player the Faroe Islands have ever had.
The youngest player to appear at the 2014 World Cup, I'll be looking to revive his career after a wasted season in Cyprus.
I already had one young Iraqi, so I figured I may as well sign their other young prospect to fill the large hole I had at left-back. Not a very smart player, but he has a strong physique and good technical abilities. Will spend most of the coming seasons doing dedicated training on his positioning and off the ball movements
Another promising Swedish talent from BK Häcken.
And finally, Ødegaard:
He suffered from knee tendonitis for 5 months which is why he was still at Strømsgodset, lucky for me as I would have had no chance of getting him otherwise.
I also signed a few veterans that I didn't bother taking a screenshot of.
