I have decided to start this challenge on FMC, I holiday the first season and only loaded up Holland leagues. I was hoping for teams to be promoted to Jupiler League but no one got promoted or relegated. So I looked at Eredivisie and picked Excelsior, who finished bottom in the league.
Board Expectations
The board want us to finish in play off spot. And 3rd round in KNVB Beker.
Pre season
Mixed pre season for us. We was stuffed badly against Zurich, unlucky to lose next 2 games. Switched to 4-2-3-1 for last 2 games which players was playing well with.

Rest was already done before I took over, I only brought in Elvis Manu on loan from Feyenoord (our feeder club link) who already got 5 goals in 4 for us.

S.B.V. Excelsior - August 2015
Off to good start to the season.
Disappointed with our 3-3 draw against FC Oss, despite us racing to 2-0 up. Then we found ourselves level with them, til they took the lead in second half, Thanksfully de Reuver scoring to get us a point.
Ridiculous game against RKC, We took the lead, they level etc etc til Manu got the winner on 38th minutes which second half was nothing to report.
Was a tough against against FC Twente B and glad we came away with a point.
Battered Helmond Sport to pieces with Manu getting brace and goal from Lars Hutten.
Ripped De Graafschap apart and we took 28 shots at goal and they took 4. Disappointed it took us til second half to score against them.

Just made a massive coup signing for the club. I felt I need to bring in a goal scoring striker to boost our attacking options. Not sure if Feyenoord will let us have Manu on loan next season.

S.B.V. Excelsior - September 2015
Gutted to lose to Telstar. No thanks to Fischer fucked us over. He put us in the lead and then in second half, deflected their cross into our own net. They got the winner on 90+1
We came back twice against NEC, they took the lead on 44th minutes with Nicolas Anelka scoring. Then we pulled one back through Maletic, Manu, somehow mistime his header and let their other forward score to put them ahead. Maletic saved us a point with a header on 74th minutes.
We completely walked over Ajax B and should have got more.
Ahhhh, What do I say about our result against Scheveningen, we was shocking in front of the goal, we took 29 shots and half of it was on target. Their goalkeeper was in good form, took Manu off at half time for Maletic, thanksfully he got us the winner with a strike inside the box, beating their keeper.
Awful performance against Cambuur, They went 2-0, we came back to 2-2 thanks to Keane and Stans. 2 minutes later, Stans decided to trip up their player and gave away a penalty. Then we just fell apart and conceded fourth goal. Not happy.

Happy we got a away trip to AZ. Hopefully we can get decent money from it.

S.B.V. Excelsior - October 2015
Was tough against PSV B, as they has few first team players in their line up. But thankfully we managed to see them off with a 2-0 win.
Deserved to lose as we wasn't at the races.
It was Will Keane's day
We was below par against Achilles's29. With a own goal as their player converted our cross into the net. Kallah's goal was from 25 yards strike.
Also it was fan day as well. Disappointed we didn't get more than 1.5 thousands attendance
WOW just wow. They was heavily favorite to batter us.

S.B.V. Excelsior - November/ December 2015
Decided to go for 4-5-1 formation against MVV.
We dominated against MVV but couldn't break them down.
Was very close game despite us winning 3-0.
Poor performance from us. A 36 years old striker got hat trick against us
Thanks god Maletic scoring a late winner for us.
A draw against Go Ahead was fair in the end, We went behind after terrible defending, we bounced back with 2 quick goals. Conceded a free kick on 65th minutes which they scored from.
Next 2 games saw us beat Roda and FC Oss, 4-1.
An brace from Will Keane saw us beat FC Twente B.
Was a tough game against RKC but thankfully we stepped up in last 10 minutes to win the game.
Heartbroken, we was tad the better side, our shooting touches wasn't there, and crashed out on penalties.

Free - Looks promising and hopefully we can sell him in few years.
Free - Very decent and will be in reserves this season to get game time.
375K - Scout found him while scouting in Holland. Huge potential on him and will be back up next season.
Only one player left which was Stans. We got good youngster in first team and playing well at the moment.

S.B.V. Excelsior - End of the season review
Gutted to missed out on winning the league by a point. I genuinely believe it was in our hands to win the league. Our draw against Achilles, FC Eindhoven and FC Den Bosch have cost us the league. We was heading for a win against Bosch, til they scored in with last kick of the game.
Went down to the last game of the season with us facing Roda away and Go Ahead at home against SC Cambuur. Was hoping for them to beat Go Ahead but got thrashed 5-1 against them. They won the league thanks to Federico Bonazzoli (on loan from Napoli) scoring 29 goals for them. Lucky bastards.
Now we got a job to do with the play off.

Genuinely hope we can keep Will Keane next season, got 5.75M release clause in his contract, going to try and get Manu back on loan again.
