You're going to win the league.

It's been an impressive start from yourself in the top flight but tbh I shouldn't even be surprised, should I? Six points from the top is great from a newly promoted side. KIU.

Thanks Dodds!

Thanks Willz! I've played in Austria last season so I kinda know whats going on here so I've had a slight heads up! Thanks buddy!

I don't think we will Shedender! It is early on in the season and we have been impressive and the leagues tight so see how things go.

Thanks acmilan, not too sure, I believe I got them off Unbelievable Jeff website

November was upon us and as we went into the penultimate calender month we sat third in the table and overachieving even by our standards. We were playing fantastically and now with another four league games for us to compete with we could give it our all and keep this form going, or would we crumble in a heap?

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/h1iPt2K8CZxDi8RlF15TltCPGD7iIU719Awa7l8b.png

The month started with a huge welcoming of FC Redbull Salzburg and beat them for the second time this season. A great game for us saw Boya net twice to secure a two one win. Boya gave us the lead after sixteen minutes and doubled his and our tally in the second half. Redbull Salzburg netted once later on in the game but we managed to hold on to another vital three points.

Our only set back of the month was a defeat on the road against Admira Wacker Modling. An even game saw it swing both ways before we eventually lost. We conceded twice early on but snatched one back moments before the break with Riga finding the net. We clawed back level in the second half as Roth brought us back on terms. However a late third goal for the home side sunk our hopes.

A second away game on the bounce saw us this time travel to SK Sturm Graz. A fantastic performance from us saw us race into the lead after just four minutes and within half an hour found ourselves two up as Roth found the net. Sturm Graz pulled on back before the break however we held the lead. Second half Roth netted again to restore our two goal lead, Sturm Graz netted a late consolation but we returned to winning ways.

Our final league game of the month saw us welcome SV Mattersburg and we raced into a lead with an all new quickest goal with Boya netting inside thirty two seconds before an own goal doubled our lead. Second half we added another two goals with Boya grabbing his second and Boller netting our fourth. We conceded late on but it was only a consolation from the league leaders.

http://i.imgur.com/a2NRC.png

Three wins from four sees us remain third in the table however cutting the gap from six points down to five with a game in hand which could see us jump to just two points behind the league leaders Redbull Salzberg. Approaching the halfway stage in the league and we are looking fantastic so far. We should be able to remain our current league position and portentiall challenge for the title next season.

So the final calender month of the year was finally upon us and as we faced December we faced a short month. Just three league games before heading into the winter break for us and they all proved to be away games, slightly annoying for us and this definitely gave the form a little hit, however we gave it our all.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ixbmLL8OBFRS2WSz5o7DUVTZ9fbYuHMn5uzXodJg.png

A not so pretty month kicked off with out first of three away games. We traveled to Austria Wien where we narrowly lost out. The home side started brighter and took the lead into the break however second half we managed to pull back level as Boya netted with half an hour to go. However a late winner was on the cards and it went against us as we fell to a two one defeat.

Our only win in December came when we traveled to low sitting Wolfsberger AC. A quick start saw Boya fire us infront after just six minutes to put us in control. However the home side were resilient and were level before the break. Luckily in the second half we managed to carve out a winner with eleven minutes left on the clock when Roth found himself clear to fire home.

We ended the month against Rapid Wien where we chucked away the second half lead to slip to defeat come the end. After a quiet first half we took the lead seven minutes after the restart with Kampel putting us infront. However moments later Rapid Wien manage to carve out an equaliser and shortly after added a second to take the lead. Late on Rapid Wien stuck the knife in as we conceded a third to end the calender month on a low.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/VLIyKXoz0vIg2ulzsLBWxYygP5vEWVcODP84mnJS.png

A slightly poorer month has seen us pick up just one win from our three matches we faced in the wintery month of December but with the winter break now above us and over halfway through thee season, we head into the break sitting very high up in fourth in the league. Ten points clear of fifth and just six points behind league leaders Rapid Wien shows we are still hanging in and around the right area.

January and the first half a February have flown by this winter as we turn the new year and I've spent a year in my job now.The winter break was upon us and it was important we continue kicking the ball over to keep the players motivated and the football levels at the top of their thoughts. We faced a mamouth winter break but one the players managed to cope with brilliantly.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/hBKHcIUa2GfnzOHLP1ocf0tSA3YzgAsh0IyhMKJK.png

An absolutely huge pre season and I didn't actually mean to arrange this many games. After I organised all the friendlies, my assistant organised a couple more which meant in just eight weeks we faced eleven games, however it was good enough to keep the football ticking over and the morale high. Picking up eight wins including a three nil victory against Redbull Salzberg looks fantastic. We now head back into competitive football and try to maintain our current, high league position.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/7IoMyFg0Uh92yvDQfkGdjJSQIG5d7PZTAezLCRPA.png

Financially we are still trying to sort the debt out slightly. We are back up in the red a further 50k but we do need to continue to try and fix this. However starting the season with half a million debt isn't too bad. We've also got two thousand pounds still spare in the wage budget and possibly some deadwood to get rid of come the end of the season so next season could see us really build this squad upwards.

Great challenge this, Dan and Shedender! I have started one as well, we'll see how that develops if I start a career thread here or not. You're doing great, both winning the league, and now flying high in the top league!

I actually got the same team as you. However I took over after the transfer window so I have to stick with the team I've got. They are still pretty decent.

Following an adventurous winter break where we performed extremely well in a number of friendlies we headed back to competitive football to round of February. We returned to three competitive fixtures to contend with, all three in the league and it was time we saw how well we could cope coming back to the competitive games.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/iufgNZxpXQ2Hs7qaVa7EPeWW6SdTQbO8tHsaJhyK.png

We returned to league action brilliantly as we welcomed SV Reid and confidently dispatched them. Despite a goalless first half we really piled on the pressure second half and when Boller found the net on the sixty third minute it proved to be the turning point. An own goal thirteen minutes doubled our lead before a late third came from the spot in the final minute of normal time as Salomon found the net.

A second home game on the bounce saw as welcomed SC Wiener Neustadt and things looked a little sour as we fell behind in the first half. However a decent fightback saw us come back to claim the win as Boya netted with just under half an hour left on the clock to earn us a point.

The final league game of the month saw us travel to FC Redbull Salzburg and with us not losing twice before against them we stretched it to three in a thrilling second half game. It was nil nil at the break and all to play for. Second half we took the lead through Roth who netted twice in five minutes as well as a goal from Zwischenberger saw us three nil up! However we managed to throw that three goal lead away as three goals in twelve minutes was enough to see just why the league leaders are the current league champions!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/hxwbZQKJPn67X7nI3kG4aSbZ0d3m19osmOTncTqw.png

I can catorgorically rule us out of the running for the league title now, I was never really aiming for the title anyway but now falling ten points behind we can maintain our focus for a top ten finish and potentially a spot in Europe come the end. We are eleven points clear of fifth place so if we can maintain that gap a top four finish is on the cards. But we will just keep playing the football we know.

So we had made a strong return to competitive football and with an unbeaten return to the league games we were in good shape heading into March. However what was about to happen in March really wasn't too pretty and it really did leave us on the wrong foot come the end of the month.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/f2jRFyo1YxtwPFltTRX8VnavaUepPunBI3b5HWuk.png

We began the month at home against Admira Wacker Modling and it proved to be our only win of the month. A fantastic start saw Boya put us infront after just seven minutes before we added a second three minutes before the break to put us two nil up. We conceded shortly after the break but a third was soon on our list as Riga netted from the spot to secure a three one win.

Away from home we faced high flying SV Mattersburg and slipped to a two nil defeat. We tried to compete but failed to create anything. Two goals flew in after the break and they proved to be enough to be the difference as we lost for the first time since the winter break.

From there on in our form never looked like hitting the top spot again. However a brilliant fightback against SK Sturm Graz saw us secure a three all draw. We took the lead after five minutes through Boya but were back level within three minutes of the opener. Come the break we were two one down and shortly after the restart we found ourselves three one behind. Finally though we spurred into life and a second from Boya brought us within touching distance before Boller netted with half an hour to go to earn us a draw.

A second home game on the bounce and another thriller, this time a two all draw with Austria Wien who are majorly underachieving thus far in the season. We fell behind early on but managed to go into the break level as Riga pulled as back on terms. Second half we took the lead through Soares with just five minutes to go as it looked like we had stole the win. Only to see Our efforts spoiled with a late injury time equaliser for Austria Wien.

We ended the month with our fourth game on the bounce without a win as we slipped to a poor three one defeat against SV Reid. They started much better than us and when they were two up inside twenty minutes we looked awful. Second half we were a little better however went on to concede a third before we finally got our names on the scoresheet as Boya netted with thirteen minutes to go, a consolation goal.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ibMvfJjgXJUoOvvJd4kaqKIGpV8HdlYbu0zmUFLS.png

Our title contender hopes are well and truly dying off now and there is little we can do however when we are predicted to finish eighth we really can't complain about the position. We continue to sit fourth and as that stands it will put us in the Europa League come the end of the season which would be fantastic. Eight games left for us to play in the league along with the cup game we just need to see this out now.

The penultimate month was here and if its anything to go on last month we really weren't in the best place to take on another month. However we were over achieving and sitting double as high in the league as we were expected. With another four league games and the OFB-Cup quarter final tie finally ready to be played we were still in the running for silverware this season.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/lTGGznGA2vg8sRmad38IO32yazftPGQCYTN74Clv.png

Another poor month for us really has left me feeling deflated however with the season nearing the end its not too bad. We kicked off at home welcoming Rapid Wien who gave us no mercy and ran riot to secure a three nil win. Another poor showing from us as we had just one shot in the ninety minutes. The rest was Rapid Wien so we won't go into that will we now!

A second home game on the bounce saw us welcome Wolfsberger and another poor showing saw us throw away a game we should of won. Despite taking the lead moments before the break through Durr a poor second half showing saw us throw away the lead and end up settling for a point at one a piece.

Our cup run then came to an end as our poor form continued. As we traveled to Redbull Salzburg in the quarter finals we were absolutely destroyed as its the first time they beat us in three games this year. This time they destroyed us as we slump to three behind before the break and another one in the second half to slump out the cup.

Our only league win came as we traveled to Wiener Neustadt and recorded the narrowest of one nil wins with the goal coming late on. An even first half and majority of the second half saw the game heading for a draw however Riga's strike eight minutes from time secured us the three points.

The final game of the month saw us face Redbull Salzberg for the second time this month, this time we welcomed them to our home ground. We held strong till half time but the second half saw us switch off where we went on to concede twice and slip to another defeat.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/E6YCwPAUQZtxrkfABwkiV5zjhRld9xxtKYzgK6XK.png

The end of the season is now in touching distance and its fair to say we've slipped away a lot since the winter break. Our heads haven't dropped but the opponents have strengthened their title bids and just blown us away. With just four league games remaining it looks likely that we will secure fourth spot in the league now albeit from a major upset. Redbull Salzburg have been phenomenal since the winter break.

Here it was, the final calender month of the 2013/2014 season and we have been pretty impressive throughout the majority of it. Despite being 'poor' the last couple months we are still flying high and as we head into the last four league games all we wanted was one hundred percent effort from everyone on the pitch and that could ensure Europa League football come the end of the season!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/8PLhoNKNMwMGAS67Fq0LiUWFdza7eJFLhThqQ1zz.png

Here it was, the final run in for us this season. We began the final month away from home with a trip to chasing Admira Wacker Modling and played out a one all draw. We took the lead after twenty four minutes as Riga put us infront. Unfortunately it wasn't to be a winning start to the final month as we conceded a second half equaliser.

Our only win of the final month came as we traveled to SK Sturm Graz in another narrow one nil win. The only goal went our way in the first half. Four minutes before the break Roth was the man to make space in the middle of the box before smashing home a fierce shot.

We ended the season on a bit of a damper note as we lost our final two games of the season. The first defeat came as we welcomed SV Matteresburg in our only home game of the month and surprisingly took the lead after eighteen minutes as Riga netted from the spot. However two goals reply from SV Mattersberg before the break saw us behind at the break. We conceded a third in the break and well and truly chucked away any chance of a point.

And to end the season a horrid defeat against under achieving Austria Wien. A poor performance saw us concede all three goals before the break as we failed to make an impact. A sour note to end the season on but its been a good season so we can't drumble.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/nIfv4Iw9YXf1U7LkOvusmd5h7eZYkIv1blCiXOMk.png

What a fantastic season! Alright the last three months weren't quite on the same impressive level as we started the season on but we were still fantastic throughout and this saw us finish in a high position of fourth. Definitely a lot to take from this season and after being predicted to finish in eighth fourth is a fantastic finish for us. We ended twenty nine points off league and cup double winners Redbull Salzberg but its a building block for us.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/gXNtQD93Uuy2Rwh2cxEcYxrz4LLcwqJaQPRlc0sa.png

Fourth position in the tipp3-Bundesliga proved to be an all time new high for the club as well. Us finishing fourth has ensured we have set a record which smashed the previous one which was ninth spot. We will now look to improve that over the next few seasons I am here until we finally finish in the driving seat in the top spot.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/XzM8XpIQ1AEh5vPWB3Oim8WT5BpSEVtvnudfJGzA.png

And for the first time ever, European football is heading its way to Austria Lustenau. We had brilliantly finished the season up in fourth ensuring we get the Europa League spot. It still won't be easy to progress anywhere in Europe however it should certainly help us bring in better quality players for next season.

Thanks once again Zan! We've had two fantastic seasons now wince I took charge little over a year ago and now and after finishing all the way up in fourth last season we now prepare for another season. Pre season will be huge for us and with the fact Europa League football is on the horizon for us, we seriously needed the board to back up this summer so we could strengthen for the league and a Europa League run.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/6PFVSNCsW1qXWGLSQh4gIO8Fn1HrlLDqTkPmXvGU.png

Firstly the board approach me to sign a new deal and it was fantastic news for me. I was beginning to believe my time could be up but with the impressive seasons we've put in we really are in control. They offered me a two year deal with £2100 per week but I negotiated this a little. I dropped to just two thousand pound per week and kept a two year deal, hopefully by then I can have Austria completed and head on out of here.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/m9EtYnX54LrcwlSk1v8YigBMF6N5rH0Apd61bvwN.png

And it was quickly accepted and there was a reason it had to be completed so quickly. I had just seven days remaining on my previous contract so it was important to get this sorted so quickly. Now secured at the club for another two seasons until at least 2016 we can focus on the future.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ll71oTxjKplbG402ZXDpkpcVRXXCuTzePMMrTjxm.png

On to the pre season which we are looking forward to the board wasted no time in issuing me the season expectations for the season ahead and after finishing four positions higher than predicted last season, the board expected for us to find another midtable finish. A small transfer budget of sixteen thousand to spend which will be converted into wages I expect whilst trying to snap a few players up on the extra wages we have.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/XMHutzIGr2UHBEzMeIXdJ263SyHEEXM34UKwQDaO.png

As I've planned since joining the club the debts are finally cleared! We are now back in the black and its the first time we've been here since before I took over in January. I've tried to work hard with the budget and now sitting just over one hundred thousand pounds in the black we can take the club forward now continuing to maintain the good financial status. A few big friendlies could certainly help raise the balance this summer.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/zROfvqvgZ40VfYbezO3zPYcBNgxdTnY66jiHSItv.png

Here are the current pre season friendlies which we have arranged for this summer. Some tough games and some easier ones for us. The games against Metalist and Vaduz are definitely going to test us whilst the other fixtures should just continue to boost morale in the club getting them prepared for the new season.

Thanks Shedender, luckily our form wasn't horrendous and as you said we held on to the spot in Europe however when it comes around I am tempted to just bin it as we don't need to compete in that and have the extra pressure on us right now, but we will see what tie we get! Sturm Graz peeled away nearer the end

Its been a fantastic couple of years here Maiden, taking the team from a relegation spot and almost extinct from league football to promotion and now Europa league!

The transfer window is still open for another month and a half and we are still waiting to sort out a few more deals as I don't feel the squad is anywhere near strong enough to compete at the level we did last year. We've brought in Dominic Purcher on loan from double winners Redbull Salzberg whilst shipping nine players out on free transfers along with the sale of Marc Sand who despite joining last season, rarely played and we made a good profit on the striker.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/SPfFiGamgxyQaK1ih0IXqmGncxEsRZbC3jYVLh96.png

The friendlies weren't too bad but they could of been better. With just five games it was important that we got the team firing and enjoying the friendlies, however this didn't really happen as we lost two and draw one to go along with our two wins. Winning the first and last friendly was good whilst our biggest defeat came expectantly against Metalist who allowed us to provide no shocks.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/gTSUaES6oMmm7pioBNfVELPrTAlt9AMDXXmCIVF6.png

Once again the finances have benefited greatly from the friendlies as we move up to almost quarter of a million in the balance now and looking to expand that further. I will have over three thousand pounds spare in wages and am still looking for a few new faces before the transfer windows shut!

Another new season was on the horizon for us and we had a big opening month in July for us to try and be competitive in three different competitions. With the first round of the OFB-Cup, two league games and our first ever Europa League tie as we welcomed AZ in the third qualifying phase, it certainly wasn't going to be an easy one for us to compete with, but as always we'd give it our all.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/mVfSldtX139zqqQoVCLV2NtZBOwmULeWjtyS5o1K.png

So not the best start to the season, it began away from home in the OFB-Cup first round as we traveled to Columbia Florisdorf, a non league team. Luckily it went our way as we eased into the next round. A brilliant brace from Boya saw him start the season just as we finished last season, meaning we can once again rely on him up top as his goals either side of the break secured the win.

However the first league game of the season saw us begin at home welcoming Admira Wacker Modling and fall to our first defeat of the season. We began poorly and were two down within half an hour which was poor for us however on the verge of the break Boller brought us back into touching distance. But a poor second half cost us a good start as we slipped to a three one defeat.

Our final league game of the season saw us travel to SV Reid and record our first league win of the season. A much better showing with a new formation saw us run riot. Roth netted the only goal of the first half after twenty six minutes. Second half we wrapped the win up as Boya struck to double the lead before SV Reid pulled one back. But a late second from Roth saw us secure the three one win.

We ended the month wit our first ever Europa League game as we welcomed AZ in the third qualifying round and it wasn't quite the game we wanted. Despite taking the lead after three minutes through Riga, AZ struck back twice to take the lead, however moments before the break we were level for the second time this game as Roth leveled in injury time. But the second half saw the quality that AZ have over us and as they added three second half goals we slumped to a five two defeat and are all but out now.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ib1fMACmcWHktuRRF0JFI7VYwPEK0u4sgNrNuhA5.png

The league table is pretty boring after just two league games down this season. We've made a steady start to the season with one win and a poor defeat but luckily for us no one has one every game of the season at this early stage so we can continue to battle through the season and from here hopefully it kickstarts and we begin to fly forward from this point onwards.
