Boldklubben Frem- Fremtastic

My aim to at one point ensure that Frem are top of both of these tables. In the future, when I can expand my scouting range to all over the world, I will be looking to bring in youngsters when they are 15/16 years old and hopefully they can gain Danish citizenship and at some point, represent the Danish national side. Obviously that is a long way away but that is definitely the aim.

We are a third of the way through the season and it has gone surprisingly well. Firstly, the start with the negatives we were knocked out of the Cup in the third round against a side in the Division below. However, f*ck that and now onto the positives... WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!



One thing that I was really worried about before the season was the fact that our defence was quite poor. However Koch, Koroma and Vervoort have brought some much needed stability to the back line and Nybo has been fantastic in goal for us. Out of our 11 league matches, we have managed to keep 7 clean sheets which for a side that has just been promoted is remarkable. My main aim is still to avoid relegation but if we are in this position in 11 games time, we can dare to dream. The Salami has been fantastic for me in the centre of the park and is actually rated as a 'decent Superliga player' by my scouting team. Unfortunately, he has been ruled out for a while but he will be straight back on the team sheet when he's back.



Also, the league is split into 3 periods of 11 matches. As the first 11 matches are done, we gain cash as we finished first. Bit weird but I am not complaining.



We also faced Fremad Amager in the 'Battle Of The Frems', we came away with a draw but I would love it if we beat them. For now, they are my biggest rivals and to be fair, they are doing quite well also following their promotion last season. The Danish Theo was injured in our third game and to be honest, hasn't really been missed but I am looking forward to having him back in a few months time. Sarajcic has been playing up top but I have had to play old man Anderson next to him who unsurprisingly has yet to score this season.



Should really go to sleep now but f*ck it, I am going to play some more. Frem, Frem, Fremmmmmm! Viva Frem.

Looks like The Big Koch's career is over. It's such a shame because he has been absolutely brilliant for me this season and probably the main reason we have been playing so well. He's only 24 years old too so it will be gutting for him to retire. Fingers crossed he will decide to play on as he will have a place in the side when he comes back.

Maybe I should of checked this before I signed him. The Big Koch was always f*cked.

Some call him the Macedonian Ronaldo. He was born in Denmark but is also eligible for Macedonia. He's been brilliant this season for me so lets hope he doesn't get injured on international duty or I will be pissed.

F*ck off old man Anderson. So yeah, Anderson contracted the plague and is passing through my squad. This is not cool.

Nine matches to go and we still have promotion to the Superliga in our sights. I am starting to believe that we can do this now, especially being over two thirds through the season. We need to get promoted as Champions, the 2nd and 3rd positions send teams into the Play Offs with sides from the league above and I really don't want to get into that.



The Danish Theo returned from his injury with a bang and has scored 11 goals this season despite being out injured for four months. Despite our big loss against Lyngby our defence has actually been really solid which is a surprise. It was a shame to see The Big Koch get injured but that hasn't really affected anything which is pleasing. In our last match against Fremad Amager in the 'Battle Of The Frems' we were two up and conceded two goals in the last five minutes so I hope that isn't a sign of things to come. The youth candidates came through and this guy below is the best out of a bad bunch. Looking to re-train him as a poacher.



So, with nine matches to go we are nine points ahead of fourth position meaning we can realistically lose three matches and still gain entry to the play offs. However, like I said I want to get promoted of Champions. A lot less hassle than all the stress of the play offs. We still have pretty much all of the top teams to play so the next nine matches are huge.

With two matches to go, we are currently top of the league on goal difference. We are two matches away from the Superliga and I am nervous as f*ck,



Losing 3 of our last 4 matches was not part of the plan. We seem to be bottling it. This is not how it is meant to go! Arghhhhhhhh. In our final two matches we host bottom side FC Roskilde and then travel to Fremad Amager in the 'Battle Of The Frems'. F*ck it would be amazing to win the league at their place, just need to get past Roskilde first.

Bottled it. Well and truly bottled it. Second to last game of the season and we lose to bottom of the table. We have dropped down to 2nd.

So we can beat our biggest rivals away from home but we can't beat bottom of the table. Need to get focused on the play offs and now and try and forget about this complete f*ck up.

We face Superliga side Silkeborg in the Play Off. They came second bottom in the Superliga. #PrayForFrem

Well, I wasn't expecting that. We absolutely battered them and go into the second leg with a two-goal advantage. Disappointed to concede the away goal, I just hope that doesn't come back to haunt us. #VivaFrem

Yes, you read that right. TEN only TEN on the 'Frem Army' will be making the trip to support us in our biggest match in recent years. If we beat Silkeborg we will win promotion to the Superliga. Wow, this is tense. Frem, Frem, Fremmmmmm!

Come on Frem!

What a performance and what a season. Despite being clear favourites for relegation, we have won promotion to the Danish Superliga in only my second season. I gave myself a time scale of 8 seasons to gain promotion to the Superliga so to manage to do this in 2 is really pleasing. We will face our neighbours and rivals FC Copenhagen next season, leaving Fremad Amager in the First Division. We are the best Frem in the land.



I genuinely can't believe it. Next season will be a real struggle and without a doubt, we will once again be clear favourites for relegation. We are currently a Semi-Professional side so I am sure that will now change due to our promotion to the top division. Hopefully we will be able to expand our Scouting Range as well to find some hidden gems. To be honest, I think our success this season has been a complete fluke. The players we have at our disposal are definitely not good enough for the Superliga. I will be loyal to a few but I will be looking to make a lot of changes for the upcoming season.

Haha @itchycoo! This the best I have ever played, I don't have a clue what is happening... And @Dan, once again thank you for the comment and I hope you keep reading. Like last season, here is just a quick overview of the player performances last season.



Goalkeepers


In goal, Alexander Nybo was an absolute revelation for his with some unbelievable performances. In the league, out of his 35 appearances, he managed to keep 15 clean sheets. He was a big factor into how we did so well. He is on loan here from Hobro, who were our affiliate side however they have been relegated so I assume that the link will terminate soon. I will either be looking to bring Nybo back or bring in an experienced keeper, for now I am unsure.

Defenders


Our defence this season were absolutely fantastic. We were expected to get battered but thanks to these lot that was not the case. I had quite a steady back four after The Big Koch's injury which consisted of Jenson-Koroma-Vervoort-Anderson. To be completely honest, I would love to stick with that back four for next season but I am not sure whether that would be too much of a risk. I will maybe try and bring in maybe one defender, preferably somebody who has experience of the Superliga as this current squad has very little of that.

Midfielders


In the centre of midfield, Asmussen and The Salami were the key men for me. I always knew that The Salami could do a job in the middle for us but Asmussen really surprised me. He was with us last season in the Second Division but was kept out of the side by Al-Ammari, who coincidently spent his whole season in our B team. He was brilliant for us and scored some vital goals along the way. Another player who shocked me was Mads Rodriguez. He joined last season and hardly played in the Division below but was fantastic for us on the left hand side. We then had the Macedonian Ronaldo on the right who managed to chip in with ten goals which were a big factor to our promotion. We then also have the Danish Walcott who went on to bag eighteen goals in another fantastic season however he did play the whole season upfront this time round. I will be looking to strengthen the midfield in the Summer, mainly just to add a few fresh faces instead of drastic changes.

Strikers


Along side the Danish Walcott, Sarajcic was his partner in crime. He didn't manage as many goals but he did actually play really well. In terms of the rest of the strikers they are/were all pretty poor and I will be looking to bring in maybe two or three new strikers for our step up to the Superliga. Sarajcic and Danish Walcott will both be staying at the club but both have been playing lower league football all of their lives. I will be looking to bring in a striker who knows the Danish Top Division and can hopefully get us some goals along the way.

Well deserved by Danni Jensen who was fantastic for us at right back. When I took over at the club two seasons back, I earmarked him as one of my key players. I will 100% be giving him a chance to prove his worth in the Superliga. We also got given our budgets for next season and it is fair to say that Mr Chairman has well and truly f*cked me over this time. I have got this side two consecutive promotions and a chance to compete in the top level of the country and I get given budgets like this. Yes, our wage budget has been doubled from last season but those wages were when we were a Semi-Professional club and I am pretty sure we will now become a Professional side. Our highest wage is £600 with the average wage being around £300. As we have now entered the Superliga, I am sure that a lot of my players will be looking for improved contracts. I can't see this budget taking us very far, it could be a very long season ahead.

Just as I thought, we have turned Professional due to our promotion into the Superliga. All of my players are all on part-time contracts so I will need to change all of their contracts to full-time deals. I just hope they don't want too much money as the finances are tight as f*ck. I have just signed a new 2-year deal at the club too which is pleasing. My aim is to 'Attempt To Avoid Relegation' which means if we do get relegated, I should hopefully keep my job.



I expect the stadium will be expanded too at some point. Exciting times for the Frem Army!

Viva La Denmark. Bring on the Champions League...

I have just looked at the odds for the upcoming season and this one is definitely going to be a tough man. As expected, we are clear favourites to get relegated. I just hope that we can stand our ground. I've made a free transfers which I will update you all on soon but I am quite confident that we can stay up. We have Lyngby and Fredericia who also came up with us- I am confident we can come above them. In some good news, our scouting range has been expanded to across Europe some hopefully my scouts can find some hidden gems that I can bring in. The main thing that I am worried about is the lack of experience we have at the top level.



I did have a tough decision to make in terms of my star defender Jonathan Vervoort. He is/was an Under 21 international for Belgium and was a star performer for us last season. There were quite a few sides from Belgium interested in him and an offer did come in but I have managed to sign him up on a new deal for now.

The season is about to start and I have concluded my pre-season transfers. I terms of the budget, the board really did f*ck us over so it was a struggle to be completely honest. I had to change all of my players contracts to full time deals and along with the new acquisitions, we are now £4.5k over our wage budget which is a real worry. I am not looking to let any players leave the club just yet. We need to cement ourselves in the division before we let our best players go.

In terms of players leaving the club, there were no real shocks. The most notable departures were probably Thomas Christiansen and Tobias Nannestad who were both key figures when I was in Divison 2. However, unfortunately for them, neither are good enough to represent us at Superliga level. In terms of incomings, I am happy with the players that I have brought in, especially on a limited budget. One thing I am worried about though is the lack of top level experience which I have failed to address, I just hope that doesn't affect us too much.

Emre Mor - Tricky winger who joins on loan until the end of the season from fellow Superliga side Nordjaelland. He has been capped for the Turkish Under 21 side and adds a bit of quality to the side.
Justice John - What a name. He managed nine goals last season in the league below and hopefully he can make the step up. Experienced player too so hopefully he can help the younger lads.
Nick Ragus - 30 year old left winger is not an inspiring signing but he actually has some good stats. He has been playing in the Second Division recently but I am confident he can make the step up.
Bajram Fetai - My new star striker and a player with a host of experience. He has not played in the top level of Denmark but he has been capped by his country.
Alexander Nybo - The best signing of the Summer. Nybo was fantastic here on loan last season and has signed a permanent deal. He becomes our new highest paid player.
Matias Kristensen - Danish youth international and joins on loan for the season. Adds an extra body in midfield.
Denzeil Boadu - Joins on loan from English side Nottingham Forest. He won't be a start for us but he is a versatile back up for any of the front positions.
Kristen Anderson - The Ethiopian Fran Lampard. Good quality midfielder who I am hoping can chip in with a goal or two.

We have also had quite a bit of interest surrounding last season's start youth candidate.



I have managed to sign The Torb up to a new three year deal. He has improved quite a bit from last season and I hope that the move to full time training can only speed up his development. I have been re-training him as a striker and feel he has good stats to do the job in that position. I hope we can keep hold of him for a few seasons and watch him progress as I will be looking to give him some game-time this season. I am going to start the season now, sh*tting it.

And you are correct @Parker26 Vervoort was indeed at Charleroi. Are you from Belgium yourself?



We are on the up. Lets hope this season that in our most important away match of the season we can take more then ten fans, hey? Also, I had some terrible news in regards to our starting centre back Ibrahim Koroma. Last season we had The Big Koch ruled out for the season when he f*cked up his knee and now Koroma has been ruled out for the season with a broken leg. However, some good news is the The Big Koch decided not to retire and back in the first team picture after a year out.



I've brought in this guy as a replacement. We are £6k over our wage budget which is absolutely massive for us. We are on an extremely stretched budget and this guy was the best I could bring in. He is actually a Full Back but he can also play Centre Back. He has never played in the Superliga before so it's a risk but hopefully he can take his chance.
