I only ask as I'm now just about to begin season 9 on my network save with my brother and I've struggled the last two years now, finishing with 1 trophy in the last two years, conceding loads once again yet I've got a solid squad.
Shedender
EDIT: This is the squad ahead of what will be my sixteenth season as Rangers manager as we look for an eighth SPFL title in succession but more importantly, as we look for some Champions League success although I feel that'll never happen but never say never.
Peter Sani has been attracting interest throughout the summer but I'm reluctant to let him leave, same as Leandro Ibarra and Adam Shinne although I feel the latter will want to leave in the summer if we once again fail to win the Champions League as he's alerted the interest of (currently) West Ham but I've rejected a few bids from Arsenal for him. As previously stated, Nick Gibson was all set to move to Manchester United for £50m but because I couldn't find a replacement, he stayed.
Shedender
Scottish Premiership: Champions (shocker!)
BetFred Cup: Winners - beat Hearts 3-0 in the final
Scottish Cup: Winners - beat Falkirk 3-1 in the final
Champions League: Group stages - finished third in Group A
Europa League: Runners-up - lost 2-1 to Liverpool in the final
However it's come at a "cost" because Adam Shinne is unhappy at the club and wants a move away from Ibrox but I'm reluctant to let him leave but he's only got two years left on his current deal so I might actually have to sell him and he's going to be hard to replace as he only bagged 41 league goals this season. This summer I might try and get rid of the "old" players so Harry Cochrane, John Charlesworth, Nick Gibson and Cammy Henderson may be departing but we'll see.
Lastly the overall balance at the club has gone down to just £59m from over £100m so I need to make sure it doesn't get too out of hand.

I've got the top division in Spain, Italy, France and Germany joining the game this summer so the hunt for a new job can begin. Unfortunately we (Liverpool) have gone into the red in finances quite heavily, had a board take over several years ago and unfortunately they've killed the club with lack of investment etc.
We've both got the World Cup coming up in the summer (Brazil and France) ranked 1st and 5th in the world rankings so hopefully for one of us (even more so hopefully for me as france) one of us takes the crown.
Shedender
How? I always thought with Premier League money (and possibly Champions League money) then going into the red financially would've been quite impossible.
Dan
We lose loads of money every month I think the wages are killing it tbf!
Shedender
This has proven to be a tough season even though we've won the league on each of the last eight seasons. We are in second place after twenty four matches and lost four games, we are four points behind the leaders Hibernian but we did win the BetFred Cup again, beating Falkirk 4-3 in the final but we've failed to progress through the Champions League group stages and that'll remain to continue while we're getting extremely tough draws.
You end up in administration with Liverpool or was it not that bad? I've been trying to be tight with the finances at Rangers with the highest paid player being on £65k p/w which sounds like nothing.
Dan
Nope, end of season competition payouts saved us thankfully and we're now back to about £80mil (iirc) in the black but that'll only last a month or two before it disappears and we're back in the red, the board got taken over in season 2 or 3 and since this new board are stingey as anything.
I have now added in Italy, Spain, Germany and france top divisions in hope for a move away from Liverpool following my brother scooping the league, FA Cup and CL this season, his third CL in 9 seasons whereas i've been in two finals and lost both. Need a move now to maintain motivation to play it I feel.

Spend your money on the training ground and youth facilities and then when players come through give them plenty of game time, will save you absolute millions over time. With Arsenal i did this and now have over £500m in the bank and a transfer budget of round £400m iirc. In the last couple of seasons I think I've only purchased one player and over the course of the save have spent less than I've made now, despite easily being the best team in Europe (well maybe equal with PSG).
Fancy a change from my game now, anyone got any suggestions for a new save. Don't mind starting min rep and lower league but must still be in the UK & Ireland.
Dan
Our facilities are the best they can be and each time they're downgraded we get them back to the top, however very rarely have anyone decent enough come through the youth ranks. And Normally I'd head down that route with development, but when you're on a network save againt your brother its harder to do it that way.
As for a new save: Maybe something like Queens Park in scotland? Amateur side? Tns for European football etc
Shedender
That's the issue I have as well, both my youth and training facilities are "state of the art" but yet during my seventeen seasons only Barry Geggan and Peter Chisholm have come through to become first team regulars at the club. I've got another good left winger in the U20's currently out on loan at Hibernian but he's already 23 years old so I may need to try him in the first team next season and probably sell Hernandez. I'd love a top class (potential at least) striker coming through if I'm being "forced" to sell Shinnie.
VP.
Yeah i forgot you was playing a network game, though also make sure you have your scouting network set to 'world' for both senior and youth as you will find some brilliant regens now a few seasons in.
Queens Park would be interesting but i think them only being an amature side would make me wanna smash the computer up after a couple of seasons...

I tried as much as possible, to sign loanees from big clubs that are realistically, never going to play for them, and then sign them on a pre contract. Did this with Rolando Mandragora (Juventus), Matt Miazga (Chelsea), Alberto Cerri (Juventus), Cameron Carter-Vickers (Spurs), Gabriel (Milan), Andre Moreira (Chelsea) but the best one of the lot was James Wilson (Man United), who has overtaken Hernan Crespo's record for top goalscorer at the club.
The turning point in the save was Roma getting relegated. The season before, i signed a regen called Lionel Baloyi, from some South African team, for £250k, played him for a season, and Liverpool matched his release clause of £35m, and he left. From Roma's relegation, as their team was still way too good to be getting relegated, their entire team pretty much wanted to leave. They had an 18 year old wonderkid centre back, called Enrico Brancadori, who I signed for £31m. The next season, was the worst for everyone in the side, and we ended up in 7th, meaning Brancadori wanted to leave, and Man City came in - managed to get £65m for him. The next season, I was able to overhaul the squad with that money, and came 2nd. Losing to Juventus by 5 points, and the following season, the same again, but this time by 4 points.
Then finally, I got the break I needed - Juventus sold three key players, and made some poor signings, as well as a manager change, with Pocchetino coming in, and leading them to the lowest position in many years of 4th, leaving us to steal the trophy. From there, it became easy, but somehow, I managed to win another season, doing the treble in the process, as well as going unbeaten.
Annoyingly, this season, I have literally 0 transfer funds, and my two right wing backs have left the club in search of a new challenge and my two left wing backs were both on loan, and have returned, so I now have no money to replace the players, and I have a youth right wing back who is good enough for Serie B, and a 34 year old Mattia De Sciglio who is not good enough either, for right wing backs, and had just enough money to sign a 31 year old Benjamin Mendy and 29 year old Alex Grimaldo on loan for left wing back.
Slightly stuck as for what to do - resigned twice and joined Besiktas who had a £87m transfer budget, and my favourite foreign team in real life, but went back a save to Parma, and then decided to resign again, and take a Millwall challenge in the Championship who had lost 10 from 10, but again, went back a save to Parma.

Yep I had to let him go and the only thing I'm delighted with was that I got £63m for a player who only had one year left on his contract. He'll be missed.
Dan
- Started season 10 on the network save, Lost 2-1 to my brothers Chelsea side in the Community Shield, we had the better stats but didn't take our chances, always happens.
- League started very well for me, 4 wins from 4 and top of the table conceding just 2 or 3 goals I believe.
- My brother has won 3/4, drawing one as he dominated against WBA who held him to a draw, he opened the league season with a 9-0 thrashing to Southampton.
Shedender
Don't think I've done too badly in the transfer market, Fabricio Dolci is the replacement for Adam Shinnie so there's no pressure on his young shoulders. Camilo Navarrete could prove to be an absolute steal from San Lorenzo as I activated his £4.3m release clause and he's only twenty years old, Manuel Quintilla will rotate with our other AMC while Airam Perez and Lutz Esser (currently out for five months) will be squad/rotational options. Still only got £282m to spend.

My save I have moved from Academica onto Sporting and now just got the Juventus job at the start of 2020-21. Amazed that they still have the likes of Dybala and Pjanic. Spent £60m which is most I've ever spent, on a 19-year old new-gen CB from Atalanta with little else done Supercoppa in the bag, hopefully gunning for my 4th title in 4 seasons (ProLiga 2018, LigaNOS 2019, 2020)
Shedender
Three played have already agreed to join the club next season, all on frees as Nicolas Pelletier (PSG), Russell Robertson (West Ham) and Andy Hart (Arsenal) have all agreed pre-contracts and I'm expecting at least one more to join on a free but that also means players will need to leave the club as I only want a 25 man first team squad and no more - Bojan Rog, Lutz Esser, Josh Williams and Viktor Karlberg could be the ones who are leaving Ibrox in the summer, Elias too if he doesn't agree to a new deal.
Grimnir
So tempted to give this regen the nickname Umbongo...
...even has second nationality as the Congo
Dan
I now head to Barcelona, a side who have only just started to consistenly regain the title in spain, winning the last three titles and making the UCL quarters last season. I sold them Lucarelli, a star striker for £101mil a couple seasons ago so delighted to link back up with him.
Shedender
This summer I decided that I need to bring in some younger players so first and foremost I decided about selling a few players and four players departed for money - Manuel Quintilla (Sunderland, £25m), Niall Dixon (West Ham United, £40m), Nathanael Granier (Arsenal, £40m), Ibrahima Lago (Atalanta, £3m) and Lutz Esser (Atalanta, £2.5m) while four players left the club on loan deals while Henrik Thomsen (AGF, £3m), Ibrahim Mensah (Atalanta, £7.75m), Randel Babel (Atalanta, £9m), Ettore Unterkircher (Mainz, £5.5m) and Pierre Robert (Bordeaux, £2m) joined the club this summer and I'm sure I'll make sure they all get at least some game time.
It's going to be a TWENTIETH season at Rangers Football Club and I'm hoping it'll be another successful one and we still play our home fixtures at Ibrox.
Dan
We won the Spanish Super cup with ease winning 5-1 and 7-1 I believe it was so evidently have a strong squad built now. Lucarelli, who left me at Liverpool after demanding a move to join barca, wanted to join monaco in the summer, i rejceted but now have secured a contract extension for him. I had a £150mil + player deal agreed for my favorite striker, Nunes at Liverpool, however it appeared to glitch and the deal never confirmed so had to cancel it. Probably for the best at that price.

Dan
Sucks a bit, but in the long run it was probably better.
Shedender
And no, it didn't give me the option to postpone the game or I would've took it. Needless to say, we lost 2-0.
