@TheMinsterman does this in his own time and the update/s will be released at his pace now if users cant accept that feel free to do it yourself but from now on no more posts along the lines of- when will this league be updated/how long before this file is out /why hasnt this league been updated yet etc etc or warnings will be issued

I for one appreciate the updates, it’s an ever moving feast, as a Leeds fan we have been linked with half of Europe in last few weeks
Will be glad when the window is closed as I like to start a new season with as an accurate a squad as poss.
Just to make people aware, I am working on a PhD fulltime, this means leagues will be released in bursts followed by some periods of no releases, rest assured more are coming. Remember this year isn't like normal, whilst I would have most league files done by now seasons also used to finish in May not July/August.
European changes (CL and EL) will be added when the finals are concluded (if either of them would influence next season, obviously if Sevilla v Inter and RB/PSG v Bayern are the finals as each finished in the CL places already it won't be an issue and the file will be released sooner).

Thanks Tommy! Whilst I can't give release dates I am always happy to discuss what I will (or won't) be releasing in the near future, some leagues will be difficult due to covid-related restructures, but where possible I'll update to the best of my abilities.
For the question about why Brackley are in South etc, as explained the game requires 22 teams in the N/S level, I added Bury temporarily to accomplish this as their appeal was ongoing (which would have resulted in them entering and Brackley or Gloucester moving to the South). Much more work is required to get it to reflect the 21/22 discrepancy so for now if you are not playing in the N/S I suggest only activating down to the National League if this inaccuracy is an issue for you.

Good work
Last time I checked Brackley is in the South, reinstate Bury, they were abused by the corrupt EFL regime

The next temporary workaround will likely just be moving Bury to the South and making them have a transfer embargo so they drop like a brick. Hopefully long term I can restructure the league.
Hope this is the right place to ask. I'm trying to get the Belgian competition for 20/21 set up but not sure if it's possible. As you might have noticed almost every league has been changed thanks to Covid and lawsuits and what not. Also some teams have been relegated because they did not comply with the requirements (for example 3 teams from 2nd level 1B (proximus league in the game) have been relegated, 1 went 1 division lower, 1 went 2 divisions lower and a third merged with another team) and next year (for only 1 year) a youth team will participate in the Proximus League. I suppose the 3 teams relegating and the teams promoting can be achieved by setting "Teams for Next Season" ? The youth team can be setup the same way but how do I guarantee that in 21/22 the youth team is back into their youth league and 2 teams from the 3rd level get promoted?
If the addition (and consequent removal) of the youth team isn't possible, I guess the more elegant solution would be to add one of the 3 teams that were dropped to 1B or the keep the youth team in 1B till eternity.

Hi Is there anyway I can swap Stevenage for Macclesfield in the data update? I tried doing it last night but couldn't find the file to load up on my data editor even though when I load the game up it is able to be used
Thanks

Yes, its quite simple, in the pre game editor, instead of clicking 'Load Editor Data', instead select 'Import', and then select the relevant data update

Thats brilliant thanks alot for that, will give it a go now
When I complete the team swaps, do I click on save editor data and give it a different name?
I personally select 'export' instead of 'save', and then save it as the same file name as the original (to avoid data conflicts), but you can just save it as you normally would
Sorry to be a pain, just did the updates and went to just load the game to see whether they worked.
It is saying that the file isn't verified, so can't play using that file.
Gone into data editor again, imported the England file and selected leagues and tested competitions running them to the end date of May 2020. Is that all I have to do?

there is no file for Scotland so it hasnt been done mate
kingrobbo
EPL is fine too?
so check the file in the editor

Just checked again and EPL is good for me, maybe I didn't look properly before!
Edited Scotland myself so I'm good to go. Thanks for the quick replies!

Given the structural changes involved, this will not be any time soon I am afraid.
