This summer I made my biggest changes yet to the squad, well seeing as I hadn't spent a penny yet I guess that wasn't hard. I spent a total of £273m on four new signings, but these are four I see being a big part of the future of the club.

Season curtain opener was a typical match from a team managed by me!
A very slow start to the season, I'm not expecting us to be as good as last year but I also don't expect us to carry on like this. Hopefully that Burnley performance can continue after the international break.
Decided to make a deadline day signing after our strikers performances in those opening games, DCL has scored 53 in the last two seasons and already has 3 in 5 for Everton currently. I've a good feeling about him and that gives me Auba (last season for him probably) Nketiah, Balogun and DCL fighting for the two striker positions.
Champions of Europe for the first time though Utd proved far too strong in the league where our awful start to the season cost us badly. Auba will leaving on a free as the only contract offer he'll accept is as a star player, where as I view as an impact sub now. Leaves on a high. Aston Villa were relegated so may be in for Grealish as has now been listed.
My strike partnership of DCL and Nketiah scored 83 goals between them with DCL also managing 24 assists.

Form has really picked up now and we've a trophy in our hands. Special mention to DCL who now has 26 goals but more impressively 16 assists.
