That photopea version you did is pretty good, but the colors look a bit washed out. May need to tweak the saturation a bit. The only other thing I see is that it's missing the metallic texture the photoshop method has.

What's going on lately?
The new logo of Legia Warsaw (Poland / team (1456)) is not updated, but transferred to alternative ones. They even have a new logo on the official website.
But on the other hand, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the club will change the current logo that they use to the old one (which they already used)
