It's a big night for players like Gabriel Agbonlahor, playing the champions in a televised game. I remember when he was hotly tipped to be in the England squad- I think he played and scored in Germany, if I recall correctly. He was part of that swaggering Anton Ferdinand/Kieran Richardson generation of arrogant cockheads who thought they had made it the second they started in the Premier League.

Post definitely not racist. Not even in the slightest.

If Silva, Yaya Toure and Tevez perform you'll belt Villa into League Two.

They haven't performed as they could all season, hence the poor season.

Not a good performance tonight.

Why are you assuming their ethnicity makes them cockheads? I didn't even realize until you just pointed that out now.

All three of those players fit that description, nothing to do with their ethnicity. I suppose everyone lambasting Nile Ranger for having a poor attitude are racists as well by your bizarre and accusatory tone?

EDIT: I assume you don't know that 'swaggering' is an old English word which just means to act in an overconfident manner, and it is not strictly reserved for urban community dialects.

Ramsey and Jenkinson were our best players by far. Not sure why you left out Ramsey.

Fair enough some Arsenal fans don't think he's good enough but I hate it when they (not saying you in particular) simply ignore that he has a good game, which I've seen happen a few times this season.

Every time he's played in centre mid (his actual position) this season he has been great imo. It's only because a lot of the season he has been stuck out on the wing or playing very very deep. Even in those positions I think he has done a great job. It's just people hate him, moan when they see him starting and ignore all the good stuff he does throughout the match, but jump on that one misplaced pass.

Ramsey was in a league above Wilshere yesterday who was awful.

Ramsey worked hard but didn't really create anything going forward and he spurned out best chance. He's had worse games, and he gets a lot of unwarranted criticism from Arsenal fans looking for a scapegoat, but saying he was one of our best players isn't exactly saying much when you consider the standard set by the rest of them. He was okay, but I wouldn't go as far as saying he had a good game, but I'm more than happy to give him credit when it's due - I just don't think I should be praising him just because he gets a lot of stick from other fans.

Newcastle fans going mad because City are charging them £50+ for away tickets after City were moaning at Arsenal for chaging £60

Hope the media make as big a deal of this as they did with us.

Also, West Brom are charging Arsenal fans £45 for an away ticket! Our prices for West Brom fans were £25 when we played them earlier in the season. Will fly under the radar no doubt though.

We'll still sell out probably \o/

Not that I have £50 to waste on such expenses. I have however just purchased home tickets for the next 6 home games for £120. Bargain.

They're charging £45 in their own end for good measure.

It's ironic City started the whole ticket price row when they're amongst the 5 priciest clubs in the fucking league.

Should just follow the German league tbh and make the tickets extremely cheap

It's just the way English football is going, even at Walsall the cheapest single tickets are £16 and that's with a potentially restricted view. Even my local club which is at the eighth tier of the ladder charges £8-9 just to stand.

Sky Sports News -

Queens Park Rangers latest accounts have revealed the club's wage bill increased from £27,600,000 to £56,000,000 for the year ending May 31, 2012.

These figures do not take into account the last two transfer windows and wages are likely to have soared further following the arrivals of the likes of Park Ji-sung, Julio Cesar and Jose Bosingwa in the summer followed by the January signings of Christopher Samba and Loic Remy.

Didn't Harry Redknapp say that the wage bill needed to be reduced when he took over?!

I hope for their sake that a few clauses have been written into players contracts.

I hate to think what their wage bill is like atm if that was the figure before Mark Hughes was mistakenly handed a chequebook.

Football: ADDICKS EYE CHRISTIAN AID... FROM RONALDO.

Byline: TONY STENSON

CHARLTON are chasing Ronaldo... Christian Ronaldo from Sporting Lisbon and his strike partner Ricardo Quaresma.

Manager Alan Curbishley has had both players watched recently and received glowing reports.

His latest check was a recent Portuguese under-20 international against Greece.

Curbishley admits his problem has been the lack of goals - Jason Euell is top with five in the league. "The transfer window stays open for a month so there's no hurry to act without thought, but I am not ruling out moves," said.

Charlton have a good reputation in Portugal after the signing of Jorge Costa from Porto.

It was the fans complaining not the club.
